@@juanfernandez8987 Yeah, it is simple, Dealers are very greedy and trying to control the market, because they have too much power. In todays terrible economy, people are very desperate, and companies are exploiting this. There are supply shortages everywhere, the economy is crap, so the rich people come out, and will pay any price they ask. Which is a HUGE destriment to the middle and lower class. It is typical greed and exploitation. Honda said, they sold 40% under their projections of the Fk8, all because dealers held them hostage at huge markups and refused to sell them for MSRP. What this does is artificially increase demand, for a supply that is already there, but is being purposely held back from the public so they can jack up the prices.
@@JonHop1 Remember Dell back in the day when it started? They sold directly to customer, bypassing all middle detailers. This was a breakthrough business model back then. We need to do that with cars. Buy directly from Honda and ship it to our house.
I hope it's the DCT N at least. Even though the N isn't winning either way because of power. Of course it's the manual 🙃 not a fair race at this point. After watching this video I can say the automatic N would have taken the type r or a really close one.

I got 24k of seat time in my 2023 EN. When I'm in kill mode, Sam's shifting style seemed limp in comparison. Don't know what's wrong with other driver... The hopping is bad, but u need to make it hop a tiny bit, or you're not giving it enough and then short-shift at about 300rpm (from redline) which will make it boogie in 2nd. Seriously, the inhouse shots of EN seemed very limp compared to what I'm used to.
The results seem strange I might be missing something but many Elantra N’s on RUclips are hitting 0-60 in 5 sec flat. If these numbers are accurate it would make a great difference in the dream results.
Not being funny but look how the Fk8 absolutely destroyed the Elantra, this FL5 is starting to show it's a over hyped lied about and overpriced R. Too heavy, we've had brake failures, overheating after not even a lap and on the same tyres as Fk8 is off pace.
I am rwd junkie myself and have only owned rwd cars, mostly m3s, amg, nsx 2nd gen.and currently gr86 but this gen type r and elantra n would be the only fwd cars that could possibly break my tradition. In line to obtain a type r possible after mid cycle refresh at msrp dealer

Love the video. You should try the Sonata N line. Everyone skips over that car and go straight to the Elantra N, when the Sonata N line has more power but weighs just a little more then the Elantra N. Maybe race them against one another. 🤔
Automatic Elantra will beat a Sonata N-Line. They skipped over the sonata because you cannot get the sonata with a manual transmission. All the vehicles in the video had a manual transmission.
If it’s because it’s a automatic, then ok but as far as the Elantra N beating a Sonata Nline. That’s not happening, even if the Elantra is automatic. Sorry brother. It’s been proven so many times. Stock VS Stock
@hardyboylifestyle The contrary has been proven too lmao. People think that just because the Sonata has 20 lb/ft more torque on paper and a 2.5T it gets automatic wins. It still weighs over 200 lbs more and doesn't have the aero, suspension geometry, gearing, e-lsd, etc. Put both of them on a prepped track and run them multiple times. The lighter DCT EN might not triumph in 0-60 every time, but will trap a better 1/4 mi in a majority of runs stock for stock. And it also has the superior aftermarket despite being a 2.0T, so either way it's winning in some metric.
@hardyboylifestyle That's gonna be real nice. I'm hoping for a true Sonata N with awd as well in the future. Or atleast an aggressive e-lsd on a fwd platform, since it's proven to be effective. 2025 or 26' EN might come with a 2.5T, if they decide to implement it.
Ima Honda guy all day, but you gotta give the N credit. It’s an incredible deal for 33k. It holds its own and I’m glad you didn’t leave it out. Let’s not forget it has heated seats a sunroof and it pops and bangs, COME ON!
The Type-R has to be the best family car for someone that wants to get on the track but still has to drive to work with the same car. The Z and the N will have typical new car design issues, where the Honda is using the same old K20C engine seen in many of Honda and Acura vehicles for years now. So on reliability side I choose Honda over the other two. If you are going to buy it and trade it in a few years that the Z will be a good option, but again the Type-R is tried and true. Along with the resale value of the Type-R due to supply and demand will stay very high for years to come.

@@JonHop1 if they are overpriced, it's for a reason. Don't you think? Seems fairly simple to me.
