  • This 9 in 1 push up board is a great exercise equipment for your home gym. The push up rack is designed to train the whole upper body, this is why you can use it to do your chest, back, shoulder and triceps workout at home.
    Push ups, also known as press ups, are one of the best ways to train your upper body, mainly chest and triceps, especially if you are stuck at home due to the recent events. Using your own body weight during workout can bring fantastic results, as long as you are doing the exercises properly.
    The push-up board comes with two handles, also called push up bars, and 10 different color-coded positions for the handles. Blue trains chest, green trains triceps, red trains shoulders, and yellow trains back.
    There are three major benefits of using this kind of home gym equipment. The first benefit is that using bars prevents you from experiencing wrist pain and discomfort, because the grip is more natural. The second benefit is that it provides longer range of movement, which increases the stress on the muscles. And third, the predetermined positions make sure you hit each muscle group in the best possible way.

    I bought this the other day, and have been using it for a week now. Really good piece of equipment! Helps structure your push-ups a lot, plus makes it easier to keep the right form for targeting certain muscles. You really feel the burn the next day as well. Definitely would recommend!

    Had one of these for Christmas and it’s great. My exercise layout is slightly different on the actual board but it’s roughly doing the same thing. I’m just smashing the tricep workouts only and doing chest with dumbbells and I think my gains are going to go through the roof.

      I prefer doing it on the rug over concrete floor
      You can roll up a towel putting on it on the floor so that your knuckles don't hurt
      Close hand push up will also target you Lats middle and lower lats

    I love this thing. You can set it up for inclines and declines too. You can sit on your butt and do dips. i do one max set on each setting and rotate through them all every 20 days. I get a great pump and it has helped me max out my regular pushups. These along with pull ups, air squats, calf raises, crunches, helps with a base level of strength and keeps my physique tight. 20 pull ups, 50 pushups, 100 air squats, 100 calf raises and 100 crunches every morning before I hit the shower. • @reviewthecheapest
      @reviewthecheapest  3 года назад +5

      I do recommend it. Even if you go to the gym it's a good way to end the chest training with push ups. My pecs are my strong muscle group, along with the triceps, and I rarely have soreness after training them. However, the first time I tried this push up board I did get muscle soreness the next day, which surprised me. So now I use it every workout.
      The good thing about the push up board is that it has predetermined positions for the hands, so you don't wonder how to do the exercise properly. And I must say, these positions are pretty accurate and they do hit the muscles the way they are intended to hit them. The reverse grip for the chest is very hard, even for me, who have been going to the gym for more than 15 years, I barely make 10 reps, and my pecs are swollen afterwards.

    bro is there any difference in pushups with pushup bars and without pushup bars....how our muscle reacts???

    • @reviewthecheapest
      @reviewthecheapest  3 года назад +5

      With pushup bars you can go lower with the movement, and by this stretch the muscles more. Also, when you don't use pushup bars, the wrists can get harmed, because they are in a very bad position

    May i ask- cant these variations be done with palms on mat. So many body builders tell me using those handles will add strain ur wrist even more. Natural palms on ground is better? 🤔. Overall interesting piece of invention & good video. Subbed 🛎.

    • @reviewthecheapest
      @reviewthecheapest  3 года назад +1

      It hits the triceps and shoulders pretty good, but for the back it's not as good, since it's not as isolated. If you can do pull ups it will be a much better back workout.

    I think parallettes are much better. They cost the same but offer you all kinds of grips and any width you want.
    Parallettes is something that gymnasts have been using for ages. It proved to be very effective in building your strength, endurance and all groups of muscles.

      In your case, I will suggest doing it every other day, and also, do only the easier push ups at the beginning, and then, when you progress, start doing the harder ones.

    Can you give us a workout plan using push up boards please...

    • @reviewthecheapest
      @reviewthecheapest  3 года назад +7

      You can do all muscle groups every training, like I did in the video, doing 3 sets for each push up type. Or you can separate them. For example, 1 day you train chest and triceps, doing 4 sets for each push up type for chest (3 push up types x 4 sets = 12 sets total for chest) and 3 sets for each push up type for triceps (3 push up types x 3 sets = 9 sets total for triceps). The next day you train back and shoulder, doing 8 sets for each push up type for back, and 3 sets for each push up type for shoulder.

    • @afranks8566
      @afranks8566 8 месяцев назад

      @reviewthecheapest why 8 sets each for back? Is that just so you thoroughly hit it more?

    Can you give me a routine or guide for beginner like me sir? Like how many set and reps? Im confused here at youtube, I've seen a lot of videos for beginner like me, I already have the same board you are using, but I don't know where to start sir, By the way I am 5'8 in height and 77 kilos. Skinny type body sir, hope you reply, sorry for my bad english.

    • @reviewthecheapest
      @reviewthecheapest  3 года назад +15

      Since you are a beginner and you want to use this push up board as your training method, my advice is to train all muscle groups every workout, at least 3 days a week, for 1 month. You can make 3 sets for chest, 3 sets for back, 3 sets for triceps and 3 sets for shoulders. The repetitions should be as many as you can make. Choose the push ups that are easier to do, and when you get advanced you can try the more challenging ones.
      After you train like this for 1 or 2 months, you can switch to a training program where you separate the muscle groups. You train only chest the first day, all three different push ups for chest, 3 sets for each kind of push up, which makes a total of 9 sets. The second day you train back, again every kind for the back push ups, 3 or 4 sets each kind. Next day triceps, and next day shoulders.

      @Review The Cheapest when you say as many as you can make - is that to failure?
      So if my failure was 10 i'd do 3 sets of 10 reps for chest, back, shoulders and triceps. For 1 - 2 months. Thanks
