Jason will probably never become Batman or take over the mantle of being Batman because of two reasons (that I can think of): one is that he probably doesn’t want to since there are others like Dick Grayson who are better choices and another reason is that he is better of being Red Hood than Batman.

@@newhybrid101It's a multiverse. Terry is Batman and so is Damian. No need to fight about it. And the main universe itself has been reset so many times anyway. With both Damian and Terry both being Batman of the future of the main universe.
Me personally whenever I think about what Robin would become the Batman I always think That is always gonna be dick Grayson, he were just made to be him
Forgot when the justice league went to the sixth dimension, home of the world forger, and meet a different reality/future versions of themselves. Bruce was dead and one of the Dick became batman
pretty sure those comics with damian wayne as batman in batman beyond isn’t connected to the show and is just its own separate thing for anyone wondering why he’s never mentioned or used, which irl is just because damian wasn’t really a thing yet.
I feel like we all know that Dick Grayson would be the best however I feel like Jason Todd would be a very interesting Batman. For me personally I think Jason Todd and Damian Wayne would have the best stories as Batman but because Damian has had so many stories and comic books, shows, movies, games, I think Jason should get his own. Batman with guns would fit his character so well.
In one the endings of death of the family Jason is Red Robin and has Tim drake put on a Batman suit but I’m not sure if it counts since the bat family refers to him as bat kid
I think Dick would be the best choice, and, to me, having him being recognized in that way is always validating. However, I'd prefer if he kept being his own hero and making a name for himself.
I think at some point DC should make the Battle for the Cowl 2.0 with Tim and Damian fighting for the Cowl. Where it all ends with Tim and Damian finally settling their conflicts and sharing Bruce's legacy: Damian will become Batman, and Tim will once again become the head of Wayne Enterprises. Or make Tim become Batman and Damian go his own way and decide to make something better and nobler out of the League of Assassins. But given the way DC has been treating members of the Bat Family lately, nothing worthwhile should be expected.
I've always wanted an opposite destiny for Tim. Every time he goes to the future he is always hurt by Batman's Shadow and becomes villainous. We are at 3 in 4 at this point. So maybe a true freedom for his character is a a separation from Batman and Robin rather than a lean into it. Tim is like Terry or Carrie Kelly he chose the role. But unlike the latter it's taken away from his life not added to it. Therefore maybe him having the chance to become someone a little more selfish yet better than Batman at something would be a sort of paradoxical conclusion for him. Make Tim Red X as a Detective. Boom Popularity Solidified. While normally Red X is code for a lost Robin. This time it can be the path for a Robin found.
@@AstraFulminous I don't know, I think the whole arc with a possible evil future Tim should be brought to an end. Tim, after becoming Red Robin, in my opinion, should at some point begin to make too much of an emphasis on efficiency in the fight against crime, becoming more like his evil version (what I find curious is that shortly before Damian became Robin and right up to the end of the Post-Crisis Tim became much colder and more effective and at the same time completely stopped remembering his version from a possible future, which in my opinion meant that he was slowly beginning to turn into him), this should result in a conflict with Bruce (which began in the last issue of "Red Robin") and with some members of the Bat Family, as a result of which Tim realizes his mistake and decides to work solo for a while to find himself and his place in the world. During his journey, Tim will come to the conclusion that his future version was in a similar position as Bruce after Jason's death (in Tim's Future world, Bruce and some members of the Bat Family died, and others left, leaving Tim alone, which made him evil), The Future Tim needed Robin, but was not as lucky as Bruce. Tim will realize that the only way not to become the same as his version from the future is to be closer to the people he cares about, to ensure their safety and peace inside the Bat Family. I think Tim should become one of the leaders of the Bat Family, like Dick. While Grayson is the heart of the bat family, Tim is the brain. The Bat Family as a whole and Gotham will become more important to him than Batman and Robin. I think this is the best option for his development. By understanding exactly what happened to his future self, he even will be able to succeed as Batman. I don't think Red X is right for Tim. Perhaps a Cardinal or a Savior would be better. Although I won't mind if he stays a Red Robin. Nickname is the least of Tim's problems right now
Damian and Dick were obviously going to be Batman at some point but wow Tim alternate universe is Batman is nice but yay my boy/Favorite Robin of all time Jason Todd became Batman and defeated Bruce I am proud of him
11:13 I think Dick will be best suitable for Batman cause he got experience and with his humor as Spiderman everyone will love him otherwise Damian Wayne also have potential
I wish the director of batman under the Red Hood anniversary edition made a choice where we can make jason become batman and be wearing the suit that clayface made in battle for the cowl.
I’ll always stand by my opinion that Tim should be the next Batman, then Terry. Dick has stated himself that he wants to be his own hero, Bruce has also made a point that he trained Dick to be better than him and not go down the same road as he did. Now I know that he was Batman for a while but just in this case I’m putting that aside,. Jason will never be Batman because he can’t respect Bruce’s code, he still respects Bruce but he just can’t be Batman I don’t see it happening, he’s Red Hood like Dick he’s his own hero in his own right. Damien will most likely lead the League of Assassins and make them a force for good and to follow his fathers code. Mind you he was a good Batman in DCeased and was the only Robin left since they all died. He dose have the skills in the main continuity but I really think he’ll be a better leader for the league Now why I think Tim is the best candidate. Firstly he’s a master detective and probably more so than Bruce himself. He has a better outlook on Bruce’s mission too, he convinced him not to go too far and cross the line when Jason died. Another good point is that he’s a natural born leader, I mean just read Geoff Johns run on Teen Titans. Not to mention he’s also been trained by Bruce himself as were all the other Robins. Tim will always be my top choice, I would love to see him as an actually good Batman and not just an evil alternate version
I remember read a comic where Bruce retired dick become Batman and demian be his robin, and when dick killed by some boom, demian became Batman, I forgot the name of this comic
Tim, Because Dick wanted out of Batman's shadow and be his own hero, Shouldnt be Jason Because Jason has his own Moral Code and is not always with the Batfamily, and Damian for now should just stay as robin.
While I'd be perfectly happy with a Grayson Batman, if I had my preference (and a way to do it without insulting Nightwing) my vote would go to Tim Drake. Thinking about it, though, I do wonder who his Robin would be; I sincerely doubt Damien would be happy working with him.
You forgot about the pre-crisis Earth-Two dick Grayson who did take up the mantle after Bruce death in 1979 and again after convergence when Earth-Two was resurrected. Also Jason Todd of Earth-15 when he was batman
Great video as always! But did he forget the hush storyline comics when nightwing became batman after Bruce "died". And hush was pretending to be Bruce or am I wrong?
I think Jason Todd would be a good batman but he would only need to murder 1 criminal like the joker to show that he won't mess around with batmans more serious rogues.
Do you mean in 'Battle For The Cowl'? cos that was later revealed/retconned to be Clayface in disguise. I know that story lead to DC deciding that Superboy Prime would alter reality so he came to life again but I thought that was the closest he got to the batsuit (If shapeshifter proxy counts). But if there's another story then do you know comic title and issue number? Cos I'd love to read that
Though with the injustice 2 universe Damian Wayne Batman, i can only assume that he'd only kill if that was a last resort given by the gcpd but it had to be done humanely
Honestly, the only characters I can ever properly see taking the mantle of Batman are Tim, Damien, and Terry. Imo it kind of just goes against Nightwing's character to ever become Batman, and Jason isn't particularly suited for the role.
i think all the best times are with dick grayson but i feel we dont get enough batman and nightwing team ups i like the idea of nightwing fighting along side batman as his partner (as oppose to sidekick as when he is robin )
It has canonically been stated that Damian becomes Batman in basically every universe at some point(yeah Terry is Batman in one but we later learn Damian briefly took the mantle before deciding it against it,which is an oddity in the multiverse) The true successor isn't up to fans and their petty preferences, the answer has long been given. Sure,Dick becomes Batman in like 5 universes?Terry in 3 i think, and Tim in atleast 1. Problem is Damian does it an INFINITE amount of times Heck in one of version of Terrys he is actually a TRAINEE of Damian Waynes Batman DCSEASED showed he is the most worthy,Earth 55,a universe virtually identical to the main one till the virus started. He became a legendary hero even though he sacrificed his life at age 17. Why the hate on Damian? He is more complex and developed than Terry,he has a stronger dynamic with Bruce for obvious reasons,he has a great brotherhood with Nightwing(you read right people that only know Injustice and DCAMU),he has more story due to the Al Ghul drama. There is a reason actual writers usually choose Damian(including Grant Morrison)and fanboys choose other characters. Writers actually learn what makes a good story, they understand dynamics. Damian was taught since he was a toddler than the Batman is something legendary, his mother explained it to him like its something godly. He literally wore a batsuit that was too big for him while he was 4 and it was hilarious, what monster doesn't want him to become after that? DC has been building up to it for 15 years straight The dynamic of will he become like Ras or like his father is great. Terry has basically nothing in comparison to this. He is a B class player regardless of fans feelings Rocksteady themselves were going to make a Damian Wayne Arkham game instead of Terry. You think you know more aboht writing than them? "We all know Terry is the true successor" No,you dont know shit besides what you feel Also Needlehouse, did you really say Batman 666 Damian is an evil Batman? Have you read a comic in your life or do you just google facts about make it into a video? And you made it only one part of the video? Batman 666 is the definitive second Batman after Bruce His story and universe has been reappearing constantly these decades. Evil? He literally sold his soul to protect the city his father loved even though it was ruined at that point cause Dick was dead and Bruce got old quickly for some reason. He is best friends with Conner Superboy who succeeded Superman and they are said to have fought many threats together. He became Batman at the age of 14!!! He gave everything for his father at age 14! He has difficulty not killing criminals at first but by Nuclear Winter he is able to stop killing after Bruces spirit asks him to not kill Ras Al Ghul In DC One Million Damian as Batman is still remembered ad a legend and referred to as Batman 2nd What an embarrassment, maybe you should delete your channel, what a complete failure

It's too bad Terry McGinnis died in the DC comic books because he was like my second favorite Batman
Tbh I feel like Dick and Damien are the best suited candidates to replace Bruce as the caped crusader
We all know Bruce’s true successor is Terry McGinnis
Except DC has made it clear its Damian.
You can cope as much as you want but he has become Batman the most
Terry is B tier for vanilla fans
@@newhybrid101It's a multiverse. Terry is Batman and so is Damian. No need to fight about it. And the main universe itself has been reset so many times anyway. With both Damian and Terry both being Batman of the future of the main universe.
I feel like Tim would be more close to Bruce as you can get since he has the brain, the brawn, the tactical skills, and iq
Love ur vids bro
Me personally whenever I think about what Robin would become the Batman I always think That is always gonna be dick Grayson, he were just made to be him
The whole Jason was Clayface happened in Hush not Under the Red Hood.
Honestly, I think Terry McGinnis is the best option, but Dick is a solid second choice.
0:50 I would’ve love this story to get adapted
Forgot when the justice league went to the sixth dimension, home of the world forger, and meet a different reality/future versions of themselves. Bruce was dead and one of the Dick became batman
Batman Jason & Robin Damian = Gotham City suddenly has the lowest crime rate In the world
pretty sure those comics with damian wayne as batman in batman beyond isn’t connected to the show and is just its own separate thing for anyone wondering why he’s never mentioned or used, which irl is just because damian wasn’t really a thing yet.
This video came out 13s ago this comment was made 13s after
No it was 13.02s
Clayface pretending to be Jason was during the Hush storyline, not Battle For The Cowl
The Injustice X He-Man comic builds on the Damien's ending
In one the endings of death of the family Jason is Red Robin and has Tim drake put on a Batman suit but I’m not sure if it counts since the bat family refers to him as bat kid
6:58 he didn’t exist at the time
I think Dick would be the best choice, and, to me, having him being recognized in that way is always validating. However, I'd prefer if he kept being his own hero and making a name for himself.
hey bro love your videos was just looking for something good to watch aswell!❤
I want Cassandra Cain to become the next Batman and for her Robin to be Maps Mizoguchi from the Gotham Academy series.
Nickname is the least of Tim's problems right now
Damian and Dick were obviously going to be Batman at some point but wow Tim alternate universe is Batman is nice but yay my boy/Favorite Robin of all time Jason Todd became Batman and defeated Bruce I am proud of him
8:33 Just by watching this video, you, too, could be infected!
😹
11:13 I think Dick will be best suitable for Batman cause he got experience and with his humor as Spiderman everyone will love him otherwise Damian Wayne also have potential
You forgot when Tim becomes Batman in detective comic #966.
This is the same version of Tim as in the video - Titan's Tomorrow Tim Drake
Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne, Terry McGinnis, John Blake, and Future Batman Inc.
He dose have the skills in the main continuity but I really think he’ll be a better leader for the league
Now why I think Tim is the best candidate.
Do a video on the top five evil Justice Leagues. There’s the Regime, Justice Lords, Crime Syndicate, and a few others that I can’t really think of
Tim, Because Dick wanted out of Batman's shadow and be his own hero, Shouldnt be Jason Because Jason has his own Moral Code and is not always with the Batfamily, and Damian for now should just stay as robin.
While I'd be perfectly happy with a Grayson Batman, if I had my preference (and a way to do it without insulting Nightwing) my vote would go to Tim Drake.
Thinking about it, though, I do wonder who his Robin would be; I sincerely doubt Damien would be happy working with him.
Made up that whole scenario with Jason. That was the actual Jason in Battle for the cowl.
I wonder what would make batman break mentally and how long would it take
You forgot about the pre-crisis Earth-Two dick Grayson who did take up the mantle after Bruce death in 1979 and again after convergence when Earth-Two was resurrected. Also Jason Todd of Earth-15 when he was batman
Great video as always! But did he forget the hush storyline comics when nightwing became batman after Bruce "died". And hush was pretending to be Bruce or am I wrong?
That's Batman Reborn storyline. Storyline where Hush "replaced" Bruce is connected to Batman Reborn
My favorite alternative Batman is terry
I think Jason Todd would be a good batman but he would only need to murder 1 criminal like the joker to show that he won't mess around with batmans more serious rogues.
When super boy prime was destroying everything Jason was Batman in a different universe.
Cos I'd love to read that
This doesn’t count but I wanted to mention that in the lego Batman movie Alfred wears what I think is the Adam west bat suit
🦇
i think all the best times are with dick grayson but i feel we dont get enough batman and nightwing team ups i like the idea of nightwing fighting along side batman as his partner (as oppose to sidekick as when he is robin )
I really like robin and Nightwing
It has canonically been stated that Damian becomes Batman in basically every universe at some point(yeah Terry is Batman in one but we later learn Damian briefly took the mantle before deciding it against it,which is an oddity in the multiverse)
The true successor isn't up to fans and their petty preferences, the answer has long been given.
Sure,Dick becomes Batman in like 5 universes?Terry in 3 i think,and Tim in atleast 1.
Problem is Damian does it an INFINITE amount of times
Heck in one of version of Terrys he is actually a TRAINEE of Damian Waynes Batman
DCSEASED showed he is the most worthy,Earth 55,a universe virtually identical to the main one till the virus started.
DC has been building up to it for 15 years straight
The dynamic of will he become like Ras or like his father is great.
Terry has basically nothing in comparison to this.
He is a B class player regardless of fans feelings
Rocksteady themselves were going to make a Damian Wayne Arkham game instead of Terry.
You think you know more aboht writing than them?
"We all know Terry is the true successor"
No,you dont know shit besides what you feel
Also Needlehouse, did you really say Batman 666 Damian is an evil Batman?
Have you read a comic in your life or do you just google facts about make it into a video?
And you made it only one part of the video?
Batman 666 is the definitive second Batman after Bruce
His story and universe has been reappearing constantly these decades.
He has difficulty not killing criminals at first but by Nuclear Winter he is able to stop killing after Bruces spirit asks him to not kill Ras Al Ghul
In DC One Million Damian as Batman is still remembered ad a legend and referred to as Batman 2nd
What an embarrassment, maybe you should delete your channel, what a complete failure
Their was an alternate jason who didn't die and was batman.
How tf am i this early
You are illegally underrated
THANKMAS
i don't remember the name of comic but there is an alternate timeline comic in which superman goes rogue for don't know and the batman he was fighting was jason todd whom he crashed into the sun killing him
You miss the current damian in future also hinted to become batman infact he is batman in future where wonderwoman hava a daughter lizzie its very new in wonderwoman comic by tomking but dccomic future change every time
Does the arkham games count where Jason tried to be a better bat man
dick is nightwing and should stay that way. tim drake is the most appropriate to be batman
What is the opening snip bit from? Don’t remember seeing animation like that for Batman besides maybe the Telltale games
Love u bro
You got battle for the cowl and hush confused. I’m Batman hush it’s reveled that clay face was disguised as jason then dc really brought him back as red hood in 2005 nearly 5 years before battle for the cowl was released
It should be Jason he would be a great Batman
in my opinion, i think either dick grason or tim draik will become batman
