For the Hush boss fight when he hacks the computer hush activates all of Wayne towers security so batman has to find a way in through a maintainable tunnel and climb to the top(like wonder tower) but you have to avoid cameras using smoke pellets and baterangs and freeze grenades and cryptographic sequencer to disable laser floors, Wayne tech robot security guards(like riddlers goons), turrets and knockout gas, sprinkers could be going off and alarms as you make your way to the top, and you can't be seen so you have to use grates, and corner covers to check for cameras, when you get to the top, alfred manages to bypass the hacker and reset everything, hush manages to run away and hide in the tower and batman has to use the security cameras and laser barriers etc to trap him as he runs around trying to hide. Once you fully trap him batman goes to find him and you then save luscious fox and table slam hush. 😊
Two Face has the Catwoman City boss fight which I enjoyed. The Knight one could be similar but with a Shotgun instead of a rocket launcher and more combat, less stealth.
For Hush it would probably be like Batman fighting against another Batman in hand to hand combat, with Hush dealing twice the damage of normal thugs, counter windows only happening every once in a while, using a gun through out the fight, and make him unable to be stunned.
For the Hush fight, maybe he forces Fox to disable the elevator and you have to ascend Wayne Tower through sets of stairs that alternate on either side of the building with hallways connecting them. The hallways have cameras and you have to stealth your way through them and if you are seen on a camera, Hush kills Lucius
Here’s my idea for Two-Face: He lives up to his name and has 2X the health of every other henchman. Meaning you have to preform 2 LOUD TAKEDOWNS to beat him, which will alert the other henchman so it’s best to leave him for last. Maybe he could even have his grenade launcher from Arkham City or take a hostage at some point
Would it be something like: Two-Face has 2x the health, 2 loud takedowns, but in turn, henchman spawn infinitely until you take him down? Or some sort of time-frame?
imagine every time he's distracted with something or is supposed to go somewhere, he tosses his coin for a 50% change he just switches up what he's doing and makes it harder to predict and sneak up on him
For Slade, I remember driving to GCPD thinking, “naw it can’t be over. This can’t be all it is”. I would use that feeling for my boss fight of him. Keep the tank battle. Drive to GCPD. But as soon as you go to take him out the trunk seats, the real fight begins and that parking area becomes the arena (maybe even a stealth section INSIDE GCPD but that’s ambitious). The way you described Jason Todd’s fight would be spot on and work great here. That’s my perfect DS fight. It’s a great twist, layered and cinematic to have DS be the first villain to break out of the Batmobile
I love this or even better in the middle of the trip the batmobile breaks down as slade escapes and you have to fight him through the rooftops and it ends with a fight in gcpd
He crashes the Batmobile using an EMP, and the Batmobile goes tumbling (pun intended) through a building as you are then forced to fight Slade through the ruined remains of a building as it’s coming down on the both of you.
Man bat legitimately had the opportunity to be the sickest fight in the entire series had they put a tad bit of thought in it. Think about it, what are bats know for? Echolocation. You put Batman and man bat in a dark room with shorted out detective vision and you have the recipe for a truly memorable fight.
I think Arkham Knight’s brawl boss should happen BEFORE the Jason reveal. I like how Batman doesn’t want to hurt Jason once he knows FOR A FACT that it’s him
I always thought you could have a physical boss fight which ends with a quick time event where the Arkham Knight charges and you batarang him. The batarang would get stuck in his mask forcing him to take it off.
@@BestManGamer sure, having nonsensical ideas such as having boss fights with characters who are boss fight incompatible such as Scarecrow, Hush, and Two Face are such great ideas. What a great idea to have Batman fight Deathstroke out in the open where Batman can just use his riot suppressor to end the fight immediately.
Two-face having a health bar might have made it a better. B list villains like Bird, Anarchy, and Black Mask had health bars. So, it's weird that an S tier villain like Two-face didn't.
I think one potential range weapon for Man-Bat is his sonic scream ability. He does that a lot in the comics and it's something that could easily exist in the Arkhamverse. Also, The Batman series gave Man-Bat adhesive saliva. He used his saliva to trap Batman or knock him over.
Give Slade the tank fight and you drive him to GCPD feelibg disappointed. Then when you get to the GCPD unlike every other villain instead of just going to his cell he engages Batman in an Origins style fight in the parking garage. That way no one expects it
What I like about the Arkham City boss fights is that they teach you about a quickfire gadget, I think Manbat would be cool if it taught you about the batclaw stun combo that I never really used throughout the game. As for Jason, I'd love to see an interaction in his bossfight where if you try to batclaw him, he dodges, grabs the line out of the air, and pulls you towards him setting up an opportunity to counter or take damage. This would reference the Under The Red Hood movie a little bit, and give the player a moment where they have to adapt quickly
I do like the stealth boss fight with Jason. It's legit a very good predator section. It's also very character driven. With Batman wanting to get through to Jason. Instead of resolving it with violence.
I think this works but I do believe he should’ve had a battle with Batman BEFORE the reveal, it would show Batman not holding back and then after the reveal sheath battle.
that boss fight felt like a poor mans version of the deadshot boss fight in arkham origins. they shoulda had a hand to hand and stealth section where both batman and jason used vents and grapple points to stealth takedown the other
Tbh I think Hush is one of those characters who _shouldn't_ have a boss fight. Like, he may have gotten screwed over HARD, but for some reason I just can't see him being the type of character who would have this grand one-on-one encounter with Batman. Instead, I just think his side mission needs an entire overhaul. Maybe start with the cold open of the footage of him capturing and holding Lucius hostage. The side mission could then be Hush sending Bruce on a wild goose chase across various Wayne-owned properties, like the towers, or even some other buildings, and Batman would need to use the evidence scanner to see what havoc Hush has caused in those properties. I like the idea of Hush's Knight side mission keeping with how his City one operated, solving mysteries and clues around the city and eventually finding him. Maybe Hush would leave recordings to regale Batman about how much Bruce has ruined his life or some shit, and each case solved would get you one step closer to pinpointing Hush's location. Hell, if we wanna give him a boss fight, set it in Wayne Manor as the conclusion to his side mission, but I don't know what his actual attacks or boss style would be. Elliot Memorial Hospital would have also been a good location if the League of Assassins mission wasn't already using that building My idea has some holes in it. For example, how does Hush, this regular-ass shmuck, infiltrate multiple Wayne properties and commit crimes without Bruce being aware of it ever? But I think it's a decent blueprint to springboard a cool Hush side mission off of. Again, not sure if he's the type of character who actually warrants a boss fight, but it's not impossible either, I don't think
I think a cool idea for an azrael boss fight would be to make Batman go up against basically a clone of himself, like how task master used Peter’s own move set against him in Spider-man 1. This will give the player a taste of their own medicine as they’re dodging quickfire explosive gel shots, bat claw takedowns, or even weapon disruptions from azrael.
I feel like for the intro to the deathstroke boss fight you beat him in the tank battle then he comes out and tells you to face home like a warrior and then you would fight him in the middle of the street.
i think instead the militia turns on him and so him and batman have to fight side by side against waves of militia before they have a fight with one another in some sort of militia base or something
Or, instead, make a reference to the Dark Knight Returns comic by having Deathstroke quote the Mutant Leader about Batman hiding in the car and challenging him to prove he is still that warrior he fought years ago by facing him on a skyscraper that the Batmoble can't reach.
Ppl were begging for the Batmobile to be in An Arkham game so when it did they made sure to give it hella missions. Plus this was an older Batman even tho he was still in his prime. They did could’ve improved deathstroke, firefly’s fight tho
Not really. I was an idea that was passed around. Like having Manbat as a villain. it was never something people "begged for" and this narrative is revisionist history. I was active on the Arkham City official Rocksteady Forum and it was just a casual idea passed around from time to time.
Personally I would like a stealth Deathstroke boss fight to differentiate it from Arkham Origins. Imagine a mix of Arkham Knight’s boss fights and Mr Freeze’s. He leaves traps for you but you can leave traps for him to catch him off guard and preform a beatdown
The thing with Scarecrow is, he does have a boss fight, technically 3 but they're all the same, the problem is that they're not in the main game, they're in that PS exclusive batmobile mission pack
Hush: Something similar to Zasz in Arkham City, he kidnaps Fox ant takes him to an abandoned warehose (making his side mission much more bigger and interesting) and you have to take him Down without him seeing you
Yeah... A side mission where Commissioner Gordon is kidnapped by Prometheus who's parents were murdered by Jim and we have to defeat Prometheus in a more direct combat focused version of the Arkham City Freeze Boss Fight would've been sweet! 😃
@ bro that would be perfect. Gordon being the one to kill his parents and the one to care for Bruce after his were killed is a fantastic parallel to showcase.
I agree about giving Scarecrow another nightmare sequence as part of his boss fight, especially since they already included it for the DLC challenge maps for the game, but I don't agree that it should be like a solemn where Batman aims light at him. I think that after you we can Scarecrow, he should drastically shrink to the point where he is not giant and more but he still much taller than Batman. After that I think he should act like a Dark Souls boys fight and is using a scythe to attack.
Great video! Knight is my personal favourite Arkham game, but no one can deny how terrible some of the fights and encounters are in the game. These changes, especially the Deathstroke ones, would have been perfect! 🙌🏼
You are very likely correct. Deathstroke’s model is directly taken from origin with some polish. I think the original boss of the side mission is supposed to be the militia commander but his place was taken by slade. That’s why the commander never made a physical appearance at all.
The Man-bat fight would’ve been so amazing definitely my favorite from this list, I also think it would’ve been cool to see nightwing be there for the death stroke fight instead of the penguin side mission
Something cool for Deathstroke is throughout the militia side mission Slade could randomly attack you periodically as you complete militia checkpoints with a smoke bomb or just trying to snipe you and when you've almost beat him he smoke bombs away and then at some random point attacks you again. Think the Task Master boss fights in Marvels Spider-Man.
I only have two things about this video 1. Where does the joker hallucination fit with the scarecrow boss fight does it take place before or after Batman locks joker away 2. I still think you should have the tank section in deathstroke's boss fight just add a little bit more to it and help it last longer
An under utilized feature that could work well in a Manbat boss fight would be the Line Launcher perch while gliding. It could be an aerial battle where you're fleeing Manbat, but you need to Line Launcher perch as a way to attack him with projectiles and change direction to avoid him
For two face: I believe the making this quest necessary to complete the firemen rescue missions would be good,in the midle of the game having two face thugs take some firemen and use them as hostages during the fight would be great,it would increase the stakes of the boss fight,in the end make so two face would manage to Rob some money and them becomes a car chase where batman has to become close enough of his vehicle to safely shut him down.
I always considered the Scarecrow batmobile challenges you can get as DLC as a pretty good example of what a possible boss fight for him could've looked like in this game.
I think the Crane boss fight would work great however I do have an improvement I'd like to make. After Crane causes Batman to have that flashback sequence, Batman's mental state would gradually become more and more unstable/jokerized. Then throughout the resulting boss fight, you would see through Batman's animation and moveset (like the stag airship fight) the jokerization occuring until Batman has a breakdown where it transitions into the game's ending. I believe something like this would be much smoother and a more enjoyable experience without having to sacrifice the ending.
Like what kind of Scarecrow boss fight? Just rehash the nightmares from Arkham Asylum? Scarecrow isn’t compatible with the conventional boss fight format.
@@SoyboyPeterthe one thing many people forget is that scarecrow isnt just about the fear toxin. He’s a hand to hand combatant and uses a scythe to maul his opponents. His fear toxin combined with his surprisingly quick attacks like he has lin the comics and even in episodes of brave and the bold allows there to be a physical hand to hand boss fight between him and batman. A fight where u dodge his scythe attacks, deliver combos while at the same time trying to resist the fear toxin from overloading your heart and inducing a heart attack would be a tough and challenging encounter imo.
With hush I will completely just change it to where he's either a main villain or his side mission is he robbed or killed something or people or something like that but they think it's Bruce Wayne and he would be a good fighter since in the comics he is a good fighter so after Batman knocks out his dual handguns they will get into a short fight before Batman can perform a knockout smash
I think that for scarecrow, they could have just used the ps4 scarecrow nightmare missions boss fight since it was actually pretty good, well pretty good compared to the other batmobile fights in this game!
Red hood boss fight, lets say in takes place in some ware house. The fight starts in stealth. there are 3 detective signals jammers in the area. you can see where they are through the detective vision but nothing else. Each one has a different traps near it. A turret, mines, and an electric floors. red hood will also leave some mines on some vantage points. If you spring the trap, red hood will be alerted to where you were when you a set It off. It is possible to find him hiding in the boss area. just before this boss fight you get an upgraded sonar detection in your suit, you can toggle this on and off. you’ll pick up on things like him entering and exiting grates, grappling to a vantage point, reloading, and breaking breakable objects . Though this only show a small sonar ring for a brief second where he was when he made the sound, and he may have moved since, so it really just finding near where he is then exactly where he is. He learns as the stealth fight goes on like mr freeze. You and him have a lot of the same advantages but he will burn those advantages for you and him if you use them. Like if you stealth attack him from a grate he will explode the grates. Get an vantage point takedown on him, he will blow up that vantage point, grab him through a break able wall and he will start to shoot through breakable walls he sees. If you find him and haven’t alerted him you can disrupt his gun with you gun disruptor. And this will take an advantage away from him in overt combat which we will take about in a second. You can stealth attack him, he can stealth attack you, neither of you immediately die from this but it does take decent health from you, then overt combat begins between yall. During overt combat Red hood blocks and dodges your attacks, but when he attacks back you can still counter. Counters and environmental attacks is how you’ll be doing most of your damage to him. he will try to back up and shoot guns at you, which are very difficult to dodge so you just Gott overwhelm him, close distance or find cover. This is why it’s good to disrupt the guns. He will also throw grenade on the ground limiting your positioning options and he will try and grapple gun you pulling towards you and kicking you. The grapple is uncountable, but the kick isnt. if you do enough damage to him then he will smoke bomb and flee. Having your detective vision is good when he does this cause you be able o see where he flees to. Throwing down a smoke bomb of your own will make It that your basic attacks land because he can’t see, but if you dont have your detective vision you can’t see either, and he might just use the opportunity to flee. Ideally, to win you want to, take out the detective vision signal jammers without setting off any traps, find him first using sonar, disrupt his guns, stealth take down him, beat the crap outta him, and repeat the las few steps. Even if he has no health left he will take a knee and open him self up to a take down as if you were in stealth. Or of course you could just defeat him actually in stealth.
Man-Bat: Batman applies the cure, but Man-Bat freaks out instead of falling asleep. Man-Bat flies/drags Batman trough dark sewer tunnels until you reach a huge dark construction area underground. Bossfight begins and it's goal is to survive Man-Bat while it hunts you trough echolocation until the cure does effect and reverts it back to human. Firefly: Same thing as Man-Bat, he will fly/drag Batman to a boss arena instead of going unconscious. The arena could be the final burning fire station. A large room filled with fire where you must dodge his flamethrower and fire bombs while throwing batarangs to damage his equipment before flurry attacking him to his next phase. Scarecrow: Something similar to Mad Hatter in Origins, except you play as Joker in Batman's mind and Scarecrow turns into Batman and the fight is scripted for Batman to beat you and lock Joker. Two-Face: The original is fine, just give him the vest that makes him immune to detective mode and make it a harder stealth section and give Two-Face enough health to survive 2 takedowns. Hush: Give him a proper side quest, have him use bombs to hold Fox as hostage alongside the entire Wayne Tower and every worker inside it. Batman can't head straight to him without disabling the explosives first. The explosives can only be disabled by hacking servers inside Hush's hideouts accross the city. Every hideout disables a bomb and gives info on who Hush is. After disabling all bombs, you can go to the main office at the top and QTE him to prison. Arkham Knight: Replace the predator section with Origins Deathstroke Bossfight 2. Deathstroke: The tank fight is fine, but, once you destroy his tank, there is a cutscene of him leaving it and challenging Batman to fight him like a man. Batman leaves the Batmobile and Origins Deathstroke Bossfight 3 begins.
Hush don't need a boss fight in my opinion, but his quest does need a rework. When he was introduced in Arkham City, it was a genuienly creepy and atmospheric questline, it got me so hyped for the sequel wondering what they would do with him, but all he does is... getting smacked into a table.
I think the best way to do a Hush boss fight would be to have it done in an environment that he controls. Have it be where you can't stay on a floor to long or it will start to shock you(simialt to Harley Quinns boss fight in Asylum), taking a page out of SSTKJL book have explosive sprays on certain areas that he tries to push you towards that will stun you, have an area where you have to deactivate it or your detective vision gets scrambled and then he throws a smoke bomb at you. So in summary Have his threat level be that of like Bird but with guns, in an environment filled with traps that you have to try and avoid during the fight
Absolutely baller video. I think for the Jason Todd fight what would add a lot to it is if while batman was fighting him there would be flashbacks to where it's a younger batman sparring with Jason Todd Robin in the bat cave or something (The fight wouldn't be interrupted, it would just be that the settings and skins of the characters switch for a few moments). And as the fight goes on it switches back and fourth, to not only show batmans mindset of the pain that comes with fighting his former sidekick; but things could also be said in the flashbacks that inform the present day fight. Like in the flashback sections Bruce could say how Jason moves slowly after he kicks, and then in the present he moves slowly after his kicks and you use that time to hit him. I don't know if it made any sense, but it would kinda play like that one time travel mission in titan fall two, except you don't choose when the time jumps happen.
A fight inside a burning apartment building might be a different but still fun way to run a Firefly boss fight. Limited ability to move around (both low roof and burning areas). Hush doesn't need to be a big dramatic fight, but I think having to chase him down while he's shooting back and hijacking some of the Wayne-tower security systems. If they ready had to have so many vehicle bosses than some less well known villains who have vehicles are part of their theme might have been fun to include. Rocket Roxy and Gearhead spring to mind.
Here’s my Two Face boss fight. Give him a health bar, ditch the shotgun for his dual pistols, and as he loses more and more health, he becomes more erratic. So he’s harder to catch by surprise, he preemptively shoots down gargoyles, and tosses grenades over corners to smoke you out. Make him like Deadshot in Origins so you can use multiple takedowns on him. And the reason for his resilience is his burns have severed his nerves so he doesn’t feel pain anymore.
Good and actually video! Perfect work. For a Two-Face, you can also give him the opportunity to throw grenades and miner people scattering deadly explosion packages + peaceful gargoyles as in Asylum. Also additional lives for the boss and the requirement to knock him out three times, as well as increased artificial intelligence of Harvey Dent, the ability to hide and tactically disappear, as well as traps in the ventilation would make the boss fight unpredictable. And after each quick attack by Bats, reinforcements should come to Harvey, and Dent, after Batman’s attempt to knock him out, will fight off the attack and hide somewhere in ambush. This will happen 2-3 times
In regards to the Man-Bat fight you suggested I think another gadget that would've worked if they had brought it back would be the Sonic Batarang although they would've had to give us a faster recharge and done away with the explosive option since once you've detonated one you can't use them in the area anymore (does anyone know why that it is because it never made sense to me?). Many people would agree that Two-Face was much harder in Arkham City and they could've brought back that grenade launcher weapon that he used there. I have a way to do that Azrael fight combine his side quest with the Jack Ryder side quest. You talk to Jack Ryder about the cult he's been investigating and then that will unlock the Azrael missions where he's also investigating the cult as well with it being a rogue faction of the group he serves, you join him in several fights against the cult members and for the final one you team up with Azrael to save Jack Ryder from Deacon Blackfire who triggers a mind control phrase in Azrael, this results in the two of you fighting with the final choice for Azrael being to either save Jack Ryder or kill Batman with it depending on whether you talked to Azrael after the other side missions you did with him. For Deathstroke I think it would've been better if instead of being taken to Arkham Asylum by Scarecrow instead you find out that's where he's been hiding out after you disabled the Cloudburst, you go there to confront him and as you make your way through the old Asylum you get ambushed by Deathstroke for a final showdown with Scarecrow talking over the P.A. system. As you fight Deathstroke, Scarecrow will flood the building you're in with his old fear gas so that Deathstroke can use his mask as a filter for it while you have to fight off the illusion enemies as well as his real attacks. I know that last bit is similar to the Ra's Al Ghul fight but it worked in City so it should work there.
For Hush, the issue is that Paul Dini originally wanted him to be the main villain alongside Scarecrow. So, Hush should have probably been similar to Arkham Knight and Deathstroke's boss fights. I understand that Hush's strength lies in deceit, but sometimes he knows how to fight. So they either give him a pretty hefty boss fight that makes use of all your stealth abilities, followed by a good brute-like boss fight. Bonus points if it had been set in Wayne Manor. Scarecrow should have been the final boss though. Make it a level-like boss, but make the Joker hallucinations become enemies. By the end, you could have simply have had the Joker beatdown scene from the game oooor if Hush didnt have a boss fight (like Hugo Strange didn't have a boss fight despite him being the main villain), make Scarecrow create a hallucination of Batman like in Arkham Shadow.
I am wondering if you can describe how to fit him into the story he got where he works alongside Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight and have his mission be the culmination of it. The Paul Dinni thing inspired me to ask this.
I guess one thing I’d add to the Man bay boss fight would be that after the first third the miltitia gets involved and tries to capture both Batman and man bat so it turns into a combo section where you have to focus on militia goons and man bat taking swipes at you.
I like the idea of slade being more of a tactical villain, and he actually meant to get caught, but they could have the whole thing go like any other villian until he releases the militia that you caught. You and the police force are essentially trapped in the rogues gallery section, where you can use some of the old villains gadgets to take out the horde of militia, and then meet slade up on the roof of gcpd. from there its a brawl out
Scarecrow being the final boss, should’ve had 3 phases. Each phase being one of Arkham Knight’s main 3 gameplay types: Batmobile, Combat, Predator. Batmobile: This boss fight actually exists as AR challenges and it’s actually kinda cool. Basically that. For anyone who doesn’t know, Scarecrow creates his city of fear and also makes himself giant like in AA. You have to drive through the hellish city and then you reach a tank section where you shoot the giant Scarecrow. You dodge around and he also spawns things for you to shoot. It’s straightforward. Should’ve been in the main story. Combat: I think a throwback to the challenge map from Arkham Asylum works here too (Seems the games had good Scarecrow ideas in Challenge maps). Specifically the challenge map where you’re in Scarecrow’s nightmare world where he’s giant again and he spawns skeletons to fight, but instead of skeletons like in AA, it’s the demon things from the beginning of the game. They can basically be reskins of our usual enemies if we want to keep it simple for the devs. Then finally the predator section: This is the original idea. No reuse of challenge maps or AR challenges. Again, it will be in Scarecrow’s world but he shrinks down to his normal size. This will be a predator boss fight similar to Mr. Freeze in Arkham City. Scarecrow is supposed to be a horrifying villain. Let's use this. He patrols around the building looking for you. Let’s make him scary where we have to hide and plan our attacks! Bc it’s his world, he will have the ability to deal _HEAVY_ damage to you if he sees you. Of course, you need to do various takedowns. After each attack, Scarecrow takes away some of your abilities or gadgets.
I think a cool thing would be for an Azrael boss fight to happen before you make the decision of whether or not to try and kill Batman. In the base game, it's weird that Batman turns away and gives Azrael the (seemingly) perfect opportunity for a backstab. After a fight, there's several reasons why he'd turn away, like thinking his opponent was beaten or being worn out and trying to rest. It'd feel more natural and also not skew player choice to whichever of the branching options leads to the fight, since the choice would be after the fight. It would also add more weight to Azrael's choice. Most of Batman's "do better, be better" speeches to villains are after a tough altercation.
I honestly think you make a lot of them worse. Hush isn't a chractere for a boss fight (like penguin) You place the Scarecrow boss fight at the worse time possible (I think in the middle of the story would be better) Man-Bat and Firefly... I don't know it just doesn't fell right to change the way they are fighting, I think just making every fight with them harder is better. Jason: same has scarecrow, just make his fight not at this moment. Azrael: kinda pointless, but why not. Deathstroke: I don't like origin deathstroke because he introduce a new mecanique never seen before and after, a boss is a test of skill and knowledge, this boss fell like a filler episode to me. I think a better deathstoke fight is a all fight type in a row. Tank -> chase -> predator -> freeflow. This make sense with the missions before, fell like a finally to a mission like this d you can still put a deathstroke 1vs1 at the end (just without the counter at the last moment mecanique, just make him attack faster).
I like the idea of the Batman vs. Azrael bossfight and I think it could fit very well with the final choice at the end of his sidequest. If Azrael chooses to break the sword, you play as Azrael in a bossfight against Batman as a final test to see if he's worthy of being his successor. If Azrael tries to kill Batman, then Batman breaks the sword himself like normal but then you play as Batman defending himself against Azrael in what is mechanically the same bossfight as the other choice since Batman and Azrael have basically the same moveset.
You could make it so you can’t sneak up on two face, kind of like freeze but with henchmen. You have to use environmental attacks and after using each one he brings in more goons and cuts off the vents or gargoyles etc. maybe since he has DID when you sneak up behind him the two face persona goes “Harvey look out” and he turns around and sees you. I think you could recycle the freeze fight loads in this series. It’s so good that I wouldn’t mind
I think what rocksteady was trying to go for was that Batman at this point in his career had gotten so good that the boss fights aren’t even boss fights anymore, as he was just so experienced that they were about as thrilling as fighting your average crook or mugger. Although clearly that didn’t sit right with the fans
perfect hush bossfight idea:its a stealth based bossfight in elliot memorial where hush has taken everybody hostage so batman needs to sneak up on hush and attack him but hush somehow dodges and then the fight begins.hush attacks:a knife jab,the rest you can make.he attacks from behind so you really need to look out
I think that yes the Jason fight should end in a brawl after the stealth section, but the stealth section could be improved. I would see it more like a hunt, with Jason using all of his arsenal of gadget, all of the tactics Batman tougth him to take you down. First he should be invisible in Detective Mode. Then he should adapt to your strategy, placing mines in the vent, waiting for you hidden under view points, moving between them to snipe you, hacking the environnement to have smoke, to jam you signal etc... Deploy goons to overwhelm you or at least make your movements around the map more difficult. Jason was a Robin, he knows everything about Batman, every of his gadget and tactics, and how to counter them. Yet he is unstable due to his anger and he will make mistakes. Take adventage of that and your experience to show him who is the ultimate predator.
For Man Bat: instead of him choosing to fight, on the 3rd attempt to vax him we fall into an abandoned warehouse. That way he is cornered and can't run away and yet still has enough room for an aerial attack. For Firefly: instead of chasing him with the bat tank, we tag team him with the bat tank. None of the boss fights use the bat tanks co-op measures. So like in origins we throw batarangs at him until the Battank meter is full then we trigger it and it launches an attack at his Jetpack that knocks him down for a bit for us to wail on him.
For manbat I think using the batclaw as a way to fish him out of the sky in order to slam him into the ground could allow for a variation of making him vulnerable. Firefly: when you use the freeze grenade to jam his flamethrower the pressure of the gas trying to leave the flamethrower causes it to explode, stunning firefly. This would allow for a quick time event involving the reverse batarang to hit the back of his jetpack since the reverse batarang hasn’t seen much use
Imagine a Prometheus boss fight where he is a mix of deathstroke and Mr freeze as he needs different take downs for him and have it he uses his baton to use as a electrical magnetic field to protect him from basic attacks so he uses that to pummel you or shoot out electrical charge blasts knocking you back and even have some few extra moves where he uses the location to his advantage to catch Batman off guard maybe even a small dlc playable character he’d be so cool NGL
I believe Hush is a bit of a brawler in the comics, so maybe when he sees Batman is Bruce Wayne, he flies into a blind rage, and all his attacks have the red counter icon, forcing you to evade and then attack, or do special combos. And I’d like to add a small note to Jason’s combat fight in that when he uses hand to hand, he can counter your hits similar to the martial artists from Arkham Origins, except sometimes you can counter his counters, and sometimes you’ll have to dodge.
I remember that someone proposed an idea to have 3 Deathstroke fights and it goes like this, after taking down all checkpoints in Own The Roads, you have a combat fight with Slade, maybe with some aesthetics from your proposal, then when deactivating the watchtowers in Occupy Gotham, there's a predator fight this time, think a fusion between the Arkham Knight, City Mr. Freeze and Origins Deadshot, like maybe he starts on the ground but after a couple takedowns he starts to go on the vantage points and later perch on ledges like Kraven's hunters in Spider-Man 2, and with all the takedowns in your arsenal surprise attacks will only work considering that like the Knight Slade has been paying attention to Batman's moves, then after all the bombs disarmed in Campaign For Disarmament then you could justify having a tank battle with him, because Deathstroke challenged Batman in every gameplay method. The one difference I would make in the tank fight is that the secondary Batmobile weapons would have the same treatment as in predator missile barrage used once then a repeated attempt will have him shoot the missiles like the Mamba Drones missile fire at you, EMP a quicker rebooting of systems, and maybe some light drones can join the fight when the enemy health is at half for the Drone Hack Virus and after that Slade is quick to notice on you hacking a drone and shoots it so it won't fire at him.
Hush could have 3x health, be sort of a fight like Deathstroke just different to a point to where it’s not recycled and obviously less straight up fighting since Hush isn’t the best fighter he could also use a bunch of different weapons.
For what I would add to the professor pyg fight scene would be the same thing but with him getting stunned where you follow up with a beat down just like with penguin in Arkham City where it ends with the same final cutscene with Batman throwing him into the bed and breaking his mask. I just think it’s a bit more satisfying.
Remember that cutscene at the end of the main mission? Remember when it looked like Crane was about to shoot Bruce in the head, and then Red Hood shows up to save the day? How about instead, we see Scarecrow shoot him this time, the screen flashes white and we see the Arkham Asylum transition, and then we get a similar game over screen, except when you press start Batman digs out of a grave that has a headstone reading, "Here Lies Bruce Wayne". Then you can have a short walkthrough of all the times Batman failed, culminating in the final confrontation with the main antagonist, Scarecrow. This obviously would be in the same nightmare world, right? And, it also happens to be another reference to the first game. This way, narratively, we can keep it the same with Bruce overcoming his fear of the Joker, sealing him off in his subconscious, up until it's time to fight Scarecrow through the fear toxin-induced nightmare.
I don't know if it's just me but I love when in Batman arkham knight when we see a "new" character Batman says thiere name first like "azrael" or "harley quinn"
I think that if Azrael's last challenge would be batman, the goal should be to counter attacks with very low reaction time, in the end giving batman a successful punch that he would simply not manage to counter. Trying to go for spamming the attack button would result in batman blocking everything and hitting you instead.
I don’t think Hush necessarily needs a boss fight, just a bigger side quest. Maybe it’s something like riddler in Arkham city where he has hostages you need to save. Each hostage gives you more info that helps Batman figure out his pattern and figure out where he’s going next. Maybe each hostage is someone connected to Bruce Wayne in some way, giving Batman the hints that he’s going after Bruce Wayne. They could also have the hostages be a way of distracting Batman while Hush goes about his plan, unknowingly also keeping Bruce away from him. Then the end is basically the same, but it just has more build up than it did previously and maybe Lucious was warned before hand that someone may attempt to break into Wayne manor. This could lead to Lucious being more cautious at the beginning, you can make him not seem like a complete idiot for thinking Batman for some reason came up dressed as Bruce instead of just immediately coming from the balcony like he has been. But obviously Hush can overpower Lucious and that’s how he got access to Bruce’s accounts
Hey paladin! Can you do a a video on what if Batman figured out that there were two jokers in Arkham city? Do you think the story would have proceeded the same way?
Ok, personally, what could have worked for Batmobile bosses would be Two-Face and Penguin. Hear me out. Two-Face's gang uses garbage trucks. Why not have one of them as a boss? After Batman beats up some thugs, Two Face tries to escape in the truck. It's a big tanky vehicle that could take some hits. Throw in some cars for an escort to fight off Batman. Batman has to shoot out the tires to stop the truck. Penguin's could be slightly easier. He's in one of the vans shooting at you with umbrella weapons, and other cars protecting him. Perfect for another boss chase/battle. The van would be easier to take down, except Penguin is shooting at you. You'd have to do somethibfg like jam his weapons or suppress him as much as you can. During the chase, he switches things up. He'l start with an assault rifle, then maybe a sniper rifle before pulling out the big guns and using an RPG. Like Two-Face, maybe one or two cars appear to help Penguin. Both bosses have thugs in cars shooting at you. Similar to the APC chases, but they're for actual villains. What are your thoughts on these?
You forgot Simon Stagg 😂. No he doesn't need a boss fight, but something like a mini steampunk robot would've actually been kind of cool for Batman. Or like a stage where the airship comes alive where Stagg controls all the traps and guns in the ship. That would've been cool. Like a mini boss, and then you can cage him up and actually take him to GCPD lol.
I've long had my own idea about Slade, as you mentioned, the Slade boss fight is the finale of 4 side missions, 3 of which streach through much of the game, it should reflect that. Additionally, consider this; despite supposidly clearing out the milita's base several times, they always have more; more tanks, more equipment, more men, even after the GCPD assault, they have enough tanks for 3 more bombs (and much more if you focus on the story and ignore the bombs till postgame) Conclusion; the Milita have another base, why can't we find it? It's not in Gotham, it's somewhere outside of Gotham, or at least the part of Gotham we're playing in, if they want to save resources, it's possible that it could be part of Arkham City, if it wasn't for the finale of the campaign I'd even suggest the Asylum, but it could be a new area. The mission would start with one last lieutenant being sent out in an APC, for Batman to chase, but this time, comm chatter reveals that this lietenant is carrying the location of the Milita's final base, leading to one last car chase, perhaps with the APC attempting to flee through all 3 islands, before finally taking the APC down, allowing Batman to extract the information. Discovering that it was outside of Gotham, Bruce summoned the Batwing to transport the Batmobile to the Milita base, where the last of the Milita's primary tanks are deployed to repel the intruder. When the primary tanks are deployed we do get the recycled Cloudburst fight that Deathstroke got in canon, but not with Slade in the driver's seat. Who then? Throughout the many tank battles of the game, comm chatter reveals that they are all controlled by one commander, and it is him that operates the backup cloudburst tank. With the Milita's tank arsenal finally spent, Deathstroke sends a taskforce of armed soldiers, leading to a massive predator section, with the milita employing every gadget they have for predator encounters and a lot of people. Omce they are done, you go inside the main building, finding a mob of milita thugs, creating another fight and then, when all the thugs are taken down, Slade himself finally shows up for the duel we all expected.
For firefly you could also make it that theyre a phase transition where you hop in the batmobile to chase firefly down for maybe half the duration of the normal chase, then maybe batman winches his jetpack or something then you finish the fight
For hush just make it a tower defence type. He set the security on batman as he fights his way up the tower, basically Turing Batman weapons and fortune agents him. Every level you hack back control by getting to the terminals, untill he is powerless and locked in the office the only place with no external panels for control and by design a place not even batman can brake into.
for hush have it set in a bigger room than the top floor to where its reasonable to have batman gadgets and have lucius scurry around trying to find gadgets to hurt/stun hush until he finds the shock gloves and sucker punches hush
You know it would be fun. If with the Jason boss fight, he could break out of your beat down move And you have to use a quick time event with explosive gel to stunning and then continue with the beat down.
11:25 I’d actually take it a step further and give him a health bar, so your takedowns are limited. I’d take some stuff from the Black Cat DLC and give him the rocket launcher that can destroy gargoyles. But remove the respawning enemies. With that, I think you have a really good side-mission boss. Maybe just give him a few unblock able melee attacks and a hand knife so he’s moderately tougher than other henchman when the others are down, and then take him out.
I think that hush isn't a good physical challenge for batman so instead it would be interesting if the mission played out the same until hush uses Lucius to unlock the system, after that we could see from perspective of batman and Hush would try to trap him in the elevator or something, basically hush took over the building and overriden any sort of security systems it could be good for both a few combat and stealth moments as you try to sneak around your own building past your own security team, cameras and maybe some drones as you scale up the Wayne tower and then when batman does get to the top and confronts hush he grabs Lucius in desperation and the mission wraps up the same as in the game

Rocksteady, hire this dude!
Put this man in the kitchen because he is COOKING!!!
Oh this IS SWEET!
Maybe the militia could also be present here too
@airtiger4577 Eh, Hush doesn't seem the kind of person to enlist the Milita's help. At best he'd hire some thugs off the street
Here’s my idea for Two-Face:
He lives up to his name and has 2X the health of every other henchman. Meaning you have to preform 2 LOUD TAKEDOWNS to beat him, which will alert the other henchman so it’s best to leave him for last.
Maybe he could even have his grenade launcher from Arkham City or take a hostage at some point
So it's like his bossfight in City?
Would it be something like:
Two-Face has 2x the health, 2 loud takedowns, but in turn, henchman spawn infinitely until you take him down? Or some sort of time-frame?
@@butteredbutters That's exactly what his boss fight is in Arkham City...

Or have a *reverse predator* segment where he's the one hunting you while you have to hide and get the drop on him

Two-face having a health bar might have made it a better. B list villains like Bird, Anarchy, and Black Mask had health bars. So, it's weird that an S tier villain like Two-face didn't.
Agreed altho it was weird that BM in Origins didn’t have one but Bird and Anarky did
I think one potential range weapon for Man-Bat is his sonic scream ability.

“If you were any kind of man you would pull over the car” I wish that was an option and also W video
I do like the stealth boss fight with Jason. It's legit a very good predator section. It's also very character driven. With Batman wanting to get through to Jason. Instead of resolving it with violence.
Agreed I think it's great considering the situation he and Bruce were in as well.
I think this works but I do believe he should’ve had a battle with Batman BEFORE the reveal, it would show Batman not holding back and then after the reveal sheath battle.

Elliot Memorial Hospital would have also been a good location if the League of Assassins mission wasn't already using that building
My idea has some holes in it.
That doesn’t make any sense. Batman could easily just use the riot suppressor to defeat Slade
@@SoyboyPeter Maybe an EMP disabled the batmobile temporarily
@ the Batmobile is immune to EMPs
Or, instead, make a reference to the Dark Knight Returns comic by having Deathstroke quote the Mutant Leader about Batman hiding in the car and challenging him to prove he is still that warrior he fought years ago by facing him on a skyscraper that the Batmoble can't reach.
Ppl were begging for the Batmobile to be in An Arkham game so when it did they made sure to give it hella missions. Plus this was an older Batman even tho he was still in his prime. They did could’ve improved deathstroke, firefly’s fight tho
I think its the battle mode that really caught people off guard
Not really. I was an idea that was passed around. Like having Manbat as a villain. it was never something people "begged for" and this narrative is revisionist history. I was active on the Arkham City official Rocksteady Forum and it was just a casual idea passed around from time to time.
Making it Bat-tank: The Game is definitely not what anyone asked for
Personally I would like a stealth Deathstroke boss fight to differentiate it from Arkham Origins.
Hush: Something similar to Zasz in Arkham City, he kidnaps Fox ant takes him to an abandoned warehose (making his side mission much more bigger and interesting) and you have to take him Down without him seeing you
God I wish Prometheus was included in Arkham Knight
He's Green Arrow villain tho, so it won't work
@@Arkhambattles Prometheus has fought Batman on many occasions to, so your statement doesn't make sense.
@claytonveno3710 When?

Appreciate it! I love the game but the boss fights were bad
I always theorized that Deathstroke was pushed by WB games and that he was included really late in production. It's just a theory though.
Man-Bat really needed a boss fight!
I was so disappointed with that deathstroke boss "fight". Build up was cool and then what we got was so lame
I only have two things about this video
1. Where does the joker hallucination fit with the scarecrow boss fight does it take place before or after Batman locks joker away
2. I still think you should have the tank section in deathstroke's boss fight just add a little bit more to it and help it last longer
"Batman Arkham knight was a game developed by Insomniac studios last year in 2036"- Gotham paladin

I believe something like this would be much smoother and a more enjoyable experience without having to sacrifice the ending.
i think it would of been cool if the scarecrow boss was batman using his fear toxin to beat him
Like what kind of Scarecrow boss fight?

Did bro really just say Batman: Arkham Knight was developed by Insomniac Studios?

Hush isn't a chractere for a boss fight (like penguin)
You place the Scarecrow boss fight at the worse time possible (I think in the middle of the story would be better)
Man-Bat and Firefly...
I think deathstroke bossfight should be like taskmaster from spider-man when he randomly starts attacking you while you glide
For Man Bat:
instead of him choosing to fight, on the 3rd attempt to vax him we fall into an abandoned warehouse. That way he is cornered and can't run away and yet still has enough room for an aerial attack.
For Firefly:
instead of chasing him with the bat tank, we tag team him with the bat tank.
The Best Improvement would be to add Insomniac Spider-Man as a Boss Fight to see which one is stronger
@@dhakman8765 It’s already been proven who’s stronger though
15:33 Bro what is that Possible Attack at the bottom
Just say you want everyone to have a boss fight with Batman 😂
Hush could have 3x health, be sort of a fight like Deathstroke just different to a point to where it’s not recycled and obviously less straight up fighting since Hush isn’t the best fighter he could also use a bunch of different weapons.
I love your ideas, I would give my IT to see these fights fixed
crazy how all of these mission ideas made by 1 guy are 10x better then a whole team of devs, such wasted potential but great video as always
For what I would add to the professor pyg fight scene would be the same thing but with him getting stunned where you follow up with a beat down just like with penguin in Arkham City where it ends with the same final cutscene with Batman throwing him into the bed and breaking his mask. I just think it’s a bit more satisfying.
Another way they could’ve done the man-bat boss fight is if they incorporated the bat wing maybe? That’d be cool
I think that might take away from a full on combat fight? Who knows haha
they also could’ve used the gadgets while gliding mechanic
I love Arkham Knight! But yeah, the bosses could have been better.
Having a jason flashback during your scarecrow fight instead of panessa studios woukd gave been wayy better than maingame
They should’ve had the moth king boss
Wasted opportunity
Moth King? You Killer Moth?
@ yeah he’s the moth king
I don't know if it's just me but I love when in Batman arkham knight when we see a "new" character Batman says thiere name first like "azrael" or "harley quinn"
Their*
Fun fact!:
the place scarecrow reveals batmans face is the same room we dropped the bell in asylum
I feel like hush would be a john wick type fight where they just throw hands in the office for 2 minutes kind of like an IP man fight
Hey paladin! Can you do a a video on what if Batman figured out that there were two jokers in Arkham city? Do you think the story would have proceeded the same way?
I'm sure if they had the time Rocksteady could have made better boss fights than what we got
What are your thoughts on these?
honestly the Arkham games are the only games that really have replay ability for me
You forgot Simon Stagg 😂.
Additionally, consider this; despite supposidly clearing out the milita's base several times, they always have more; more tanks, more equipment, more men, even after the GCPD assault, they have enough tanks for 3 more bombs (and much more if you focus on the story and ignore the bombs till postgame)
Conclusion; the Milita have another base, why can't we find it?
ON POINT!! Straight spittin
for hush have it set in a bigger room than the top floor to where its reasonable to have batman gadgets and have lucius scurry around trying to find gadgets to hurt/stun hush until he finds the shock gloves and sucker punches hush
You know it would be fun. If with the Jason boss fight, he could break out of your beat down move And you have to use a quick time event with explosive gel to stunning and then continue with the beat down.
That makes no sense.Jason is nowhere near batman's skill level, and the game shows that
11:25 I’d actually take it a step further and give him a health bar, so your takedowns are limited.
