Funfact about the Mad Hatter fight in City: the color of your mask changes based on your costume. If you pick the 1970s costume, the mask will be blue.
I still feel like Titan Jonkler woud've been a killer boss as a stealth encounter using his original concept art design. It could've easily been a genuinely frightening encounter
You and clownpuncher easily have the most cohesive Arkham rankings on RUclips. This video and your channel deserves a larger audience then what it's getting!
Deathstroke and Mr freeze both made you feel like you were batman fighting one of his enemies. I hope any future game can expand on these concepts one day
I’ll never for the life of me understand why Arkham Knight didn’t try to out do Origins with its boss fights….like, even with the sorta weak story, good Arkham Orgins level bosses would’ve made the game an absolute, near-flawless masterpiece….instead, it’s like they didn’t even try to out do Arkham Asylum haha. The Batmobile stuff is fun, but the 1-1 hand to hand combat bosses don’t even exist…Killer Croc and that boxer can’t even directly be fought. In a game they obviously spent so much time making, bosses were definitely the thing Knight got lazy with, Deathstroke solidifies that statement Having actual boss fights, and keeping the martial artist enemy types would’ve perfected Arkham Knight and ended the series on the highest note possible, story aside
I think Batmans OP nature made that hard. Like, in knight, you have so many moves and so much more movement than city and origins that perhaps melee combat was a tough ask
If I personally counted Suicide Squad, I’d put most of the fights at the worst and then the Flash fight above the bottom 5. Really shows how “quality” those bosses are. 😂
Pretty decent list overall mate Would definitely be down to see your opinions on ranking the boss fights by difficulty or even the most disappointing boss (*cough cough* Deathstroke *cough*)
I personally would have ranked the Joker & Harley boss battle from the Knight DLC higher. While simple, it's a lot of fun and contains some of the most satisfying dual play in the series. Plus, it was nice to *finally* have a proper Joker boss battle (even if it wasn't against Batman).
I'd argue Deathstroke tank should be lower than Arkham city deadshot Cause deathstroke had so much more buildup and took not one but multiple side missions to get to. All just for a reskinned boss
@hunts4209 I 100% get that point of view, and on some days I'd agree. The bottom 3 are casually interchangeable for me But to me, at least Deathstrokes tank is an actual fight, not one button press.
@@MattTGM The only positive I would give the deathstroke tank is that it's a actual boss fight with a health bar. unlike the disappointment that was Arkham knights Hush.
Actually, you don't have to take out all the APCs to fight deathstroke, just the watch tower, bombs and checkpoints. And I know because I personally tested it Edit: the reason why I tested it was to see what deathstroke would say if you completed the APC mission after the bombs, checkpoints, and watch towers.
I am very happy Arkham Shadow turned out to be fantastic. the only problem is that I'll likely never play it. I can't afford to buy that VR system for just one specific game
Batman being peak condition is not the same as “strongest man alive”. He’s as strong as he can get without his strength slowing down his agility considering he’s still supposed to be a stealthy ninja
That is a good point. The absolutely built fighters in the real world have to sacrifice agility and speed for strength. Batman has trained himself to be a perfect balance of all aspects of combat.
I personally think you should've added the ither titans since they are technically bosses and I would've put two-face (city) higher than harley since I (for some reason) really like Catwoman's predator in City and enjoy playing her a lot. Also the aesthetic of the two face fight I prefer plus two face is just a cool character
fair enough, and I did consider doing so. but the boss itself doesn't change, it's still just titans, the only difference is the arena. if I did do it that way, Elevator Titan would be just below Bane and the Guard Titans would be one spot above the Twin Titans and fair enough, I'm glad you got that enjoyment. I enjoy playing as Catwoman too, just not in this boss fight
@@Thedarkknight27474 I think the story and presentation looks great and the gameplay looks pretty cool. I still think the decision to make it Meta Quest exclusive is stupid
