Hey Josh I rewatched Brother Frank and he gave a shout out to you from the Shanley hotel 🏨 😢❤❤❤❤❤ 1:06
Hey Matt you're hilarious 😂 ❤ 3:13
Hey Dan the man 👨 😊❤❤ 3:29
Nice one from New Zealand
❤❤❤ love these videos ❤ from history to building structures....I love 💕 watching these beautiful videos ❤ cause I can't do myself ❤❤ God 🙏🙏 bless you ❤️❤️
I’m a born and bred Londoner and I never knew this exists! So cool!
Heck ya alot if secrets in London tbh I'll drop more videos and blow ya mind xD
U r not the only one millions of people in your country doesnt k o about this shit lol 😅😅
I am from eastbourne below London on the coast. and i know all the history in London i just like learning history on places and countries i guess
I am sorry you have to live there
@@ExploringWithJosh This was a great video Josh. Made me feel like I was living back in 2016 when I used to stay up late and watch urbex videos. thanks.
Yes let's go!!!
We should do more underground in the UK
Yes you absolutely should do more underground , and Josh's job is comic relief 😂😂
Go deeper than that in London, mate. Under 'The City of London'...
@@ExploringwithFighters I’ve always been intrigued by underground ghost stations. Some are like time capsules.
And hang out with Dan, the man 👨 🙌 💙
Hey Andrew ❤😊😊 8:45
Forget the paranormal crap and do what you started doing. We love you too buddy 🥰 from Florida USA.
Just wanted to say your videos have been on point lately. You can tell you’re having the time of your life and it shows in the videos. Every week I’m more and more impressed. I wasn’t sure how the vibe would be getting out of the ghost hunting videos, but the vibe and energy are great. Congrats on the van!
Thank you I definitely had to tweak some things take some time off and also find my balance between Beyond the Dark videos and exploring videos to get to exactly where I'm at right now to have a perfect balance
I have a crazy idea for an adventure Josh explore the caves in Afghanistan. It might be out of your comfort zone but I would love to see you explore there, haven’t seen anyone do it! Or Greece!
@@ExploringWithJoshI love you
@@ExploringWithJosh
What’s your friend with the hoodie and 🚬 called and what’s his channel / ig
Josh - I love nuclear fallout shelters and I love your videos!!! I was just in England last August. I really enjoyed this as usual!!!
What do you mean London was safe from air raids? The city was heavily bombed between Sept. 1940 and May 1941, so I guess those shelters were being used back then.
It was called the Blitz, do some research before you go to these places Josh lad. It’s a hard one to miss!
They were probably only for government employees, etc.
Maybe what he meant was when the raids happened people had somewhere to go
The KIngsway tunnels were home for the British secret service. Nothing less, nothing more. Not built as public shelters. There were several public shelters (10 planned, only 8 built) but this was not one. Most got completed only after the Blitz... However, most 'public' shelters were never used by the public as well in reality, only by the government.
I thought the same thing 😅 they don't teach actual history anymore
I think you'll find that London was heavily bombed during the blitz and these shelters were extensively used to protect the people of London especially those below existing station tunnels at Clapham South, Clapham Common, Clapham North, Stockwell, Oval, Goodge Street, Camden Town, Belsize Park, Chancery Lane and St. Pauls.
I find it funny he likes all the other comments but avoids any that mention the blitz
Crazy adventure. At the ending where you step out to the streets of London, it really felt like you have been in another world at a different time.
Looked cool down there.
Matthew is a legend. He knows so much stuff
He thinks he knows a lot, in reality he chats absolute waffle and is wrong most of the time. 😂
he should of spent the night there
19:30
Actually those lifts were restored in the early 1990s and had a light generic modernisation which involved the installation of the newer buttons and indicators on top of a new microcontroller lift logic which is most likely Lester Controls or Thames Valley as those were the two primary generic lift logics used at the time.
I'm expecting your classic grade-A Josh abandoned video and it starts with a man repelling down the side of the building and alarms going off... this is going to be on another level loll.
No.
OH YEAH! NOT another paranormal video! I started watching your channel way back at the beginning for the abandoned/exploration videos and am glad you are going back to them!!
I swear i already have seen this video 3yeasrs ago?, yall re-uploading
Don’t think he should go back to anything!!
I was worried you guys were going to get in trouble, London has cctv cameras everywhere, i think. This was so cool to see, thank you for taking the risk. I never would get to see anything like this, otherwise. I'm also always holding my breath when you and your crew are climbing up old sketchy stairs or ladders. I say a little prayer every time lol.
Once it's opened for tourists, i imagine a lot of it will changed from its original state. We get to see it before they change anything. ❤
They had a tour guild
Yep a tour guide 😂
All this stuff is open (by appointment) for tourists NOW!!!
Fabulous video! I used to work in the building opposite the big grill you climbed into - our server room literally overlooked it and we always wondered what it was - there was a crane on the front of the building then, about 25 years ago.
@29 mins - IT and command control area most likely - raised computer room floor with AC vent plates that would have had 7 foot rack mount cabinets above them, blowing the cold air up through all the circuitry.
You're rocking the real life Fallout! Also that big turbine, was a generator.
Walking thru history. Wow! Amazing friend! So happy you got to see this.
Love when you are with Dan. You two click so well. A great upload!
Thank you Josh & crew, I would never get to see this as I have claustrophobia… so interesting to see it all underground London
This is vital information for people wondering who controls our world today.
Your Underground videos are some of my FAVORITE! especially when Underground in London! Can you do Underground videos all over Europe!?
I definitely wouldn't be using that elevator. There's one at my job that goes 300 ft underground, it's fairly new but has broken down 3 times in the last 4 months. No thank you.
19:19
Those elevators are still used to this day in my country
Fantastic video. So much history just under our feet. Thats just a tiny part of the underground network. There are still loads of places underground used today still.
“This is why you have a team of five!” *holds up 4 fingers* lmao
He isn’t counting himself 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh yeah I forgot that one😂
I was nervous when you and Dan were in the elevator even though I knew you guys survived 😅 I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure! There’s no doubt in my mind that I would have got lost. Haha.
I wouldn't go down in that lift I'd sooner take the ladder steps! It's crazy because I overcame a fear of them I had for years no one could pay me to use that 1
I've been watching abandoned vids since thee OG's... Adam the Woo &
D. Bell. And your early stuff❤& I must say...Josh; you've been earned UR STRIPES! So happy for you.
I have known this channel for a long time now, like, before I even made myself an account on youtube. Like, middle school age.
I've always loved abandoned places, and I'm always grateful when you can provide background about the history of said place.
Stuff has happened, and I wasn't able to watch your channel for a while. When I returned, I was worried that you had switched to just doing ghost videos. It's nice to see you still going on crazy adventures.
And I am so glad that even after you've grown more famous, you still deliver the same spectacular content of just exploring hidden (or even not so hidden) wonders.
Thank you, Josh.

Great video, I binged a few of your haunted vids recently as well! Keep it up brotha 🤘🏻
I'm surprised there aren't any squatters down there. I mean if I was homeless, I'd turn it into my own personal palace.
you might like to add sticks of different colored chalk to your exploration kit, for when you go on such large explores that you could get easily lost in. like chalk mark the wall every so often in your own color, so you know where you've been, and can find your way back to your path and your start point if you get off course or feel lost.
I agree that did look like the backrooms! Lol
Oh the potatoe peeling machine is called a rumbler 😊
To anyone thinking of going down there without a guide, you will get lost😮
What a great video! Can't wait for the bus tour!❤
i saw this bunker i think on IKS Exploration on youtube a while back. It must be a local exploring thing. nice. God bless ya Josh.
What is it with London and their underground tunnels? So wild...and Josh....so polite to history...love that!
Liverpool UK got a lot of underground passages an bunkers you should visit x
Another thing... I love how you stay around really good people , alot of great explorers we know of cuz of your channel ❣️
19:22 the lifts might be old but the Digital buttons/LED displays suggest that it actually was modernized not so recently (probably 80's+ or more, can be anything tbh you need more info to determine what years it was from)
Those types of buttons and displays have been around since the 50s.
@@RazzRG Displays not really. This is from the UK. It's common those displays mostly are from over 80's and more. I've had friends from England who do Urban exploring and the likes as a hobby and they have many samples, and most of those typea displays are mostly from 80's or similar but not 50's.
In the 50's they only probably used the old style strip indicators, not segment displays. I don't have the exact year count but of when they are introduced though but defo not during the 50's.
@@RazzRG LED indicator lamps (in Red coulour) were invented (the practical breaktrough) in 1962... Check out "Nick Holonyak" !!! Green came in the 1970-ies, blue in the 1990-ies...
No indicator pannel using them can be older then that year, or those years.
Neon indicator lamps are older, however seriously bigger. Other problem: they need high voltage (min 90V !??) , not on 6V, 12V ... They are still used in some environments.
Hi Josh, I say you would be great at picking a team and logistics (planning). Yay Josh, I remember when you went in Jax's school bus and you have always wanted one from then, I am so happy for you that you finally got one, congrats. Nope, I would use the stairs lol. You need to ask Matt to take you to the red door, it is a set of underground rooms that were a chalk quarry I believe, there is a huge are in it called the Cathedral too. That decontamination unit was if someone got exposed to radiation or another dangerous chemical etc. Thank you for sharing, rise above, much love. xx 🥰
Amazing video. The James Herbert novel - Domain uses Kingsway as a setting for around the first half of the book. It follows a bunch of people caught up in the aftermath of a nuclear attack on London and their survival against a plague of nightmare rats. A slow but good read and he captures the essence of this place so much based on your video, albeit it was more “operational” than it is now. Recommended read if you like Herbert’s horror novels. Never got made into a film though. Fascinating what you did here though and makes you think there’s a lot we don’t know. ❤
Imagine being stuck somewhere in the elevator underground where nobody is even going. I would rather take that ladder
Heck yeah 😅 7:42
The tour can’t wait to see what is next
You better be ready
I live 5 hours from London, maybe I'll visit one day when its renovated ......Fantastic, Josh and Crew :)
Go mission impossible totally an interesting underground and could be reused in the future to come totally amazing Josh the supervisor amazing climbing skills great work Josh and team ❤
Great video Josh been waiting for this let’s go I really enjoy your crazy adventures
Glad you like them!
You know what Josh this is what l love so much about you your eye for detail your exploration definitely stands out from all the rest thanks for the wonderful tour with out you no one would as much of what you show so please you and all stay safe these places are no joke.
Ah would've loved to do this one with you! I know a few people that have done these tunnels too and it looks so cool! I used to do this kind of thing myself a few years ago and would still love to do more, just around London/south east can be difficult to find unique places.
Hey if you ever want a local British lad to join you on an explore let me know😂 I miss doing them.
Great video mate 👌
Just for thought... Living down there you'd never experience weather, sunlight, nature, etc. That's just so mind-blowing to me. Yes it would save lives, but it'd definitely change the way life is lived. Anyways, can't wait to see where the bus takes this channel! Cheers to new adventures! Let's GoOoOo!!!
That’s why I loved twilight zone. They had a ton of episodes about man starting over after a disaster and imagining it is surreal, how different it would be.
One of this tunnel system is located under Clapham Common station. I used to work down there in a Hydroponic Vertical Farm, only a part of the tunnel system was in use the rest was a pitch black never ending tunnel. The funny part was you could hear the underground trains going in the tunnels above you.
Omg this was insane definitely should do more underground see what else ya can find ❤🙏
Another amazing exploration! The city under the city!
Heck yesssss
I just pre ordered the new beyond the dark hoodie and soon I will order the new exploring crew hoodie as well
You brighten my Sundays! Your team job is the entertainment ❤ please bring Dan to Kansas city Missouri
1940’s… famously very safe in London.
At about 32:44 when you are looking at the projection screen, you zoom out and there’s a whisper while you are talking. Looks like you are alone. Sounds like it says “contractor” or something.
This is fun! Love undergrounds and history! And London as well!!!
Such a great video!! What a cool place to explore!!
Success and stay healthy Brother Josh ☺️ Be Bless too
WOW this was built in the 50's??? It all looks so brand new! And you're allowed to go in there and just walk around? I used to live in London and never heard of this before...love this!
Yeah I don’t think they’re exactly allowed to 😂 given the sneaking/ breaking in and hiding from the alarm and all
Imparliament lol It's like you combined the words Impala and parliament 😂 It's supposed to be parliament (Paar luh muhnt), I love the way you pronounce words though. It makes me giggle 😆🫶 Rerenovate gets me every time too. Re renovate is a term but not the way you use it, it should be just renovate lol No hate though, all love! 🫶 I've now watched all your videos and am almost done all the ones on Just Joshing You. You've come so far since you started! Great job, you're rocking it! 🫶
Keep up the good work Josh love your videos
At last! Your version Josh.
I do so hope that you've recovered.
From the stultifying nature of a certain "windbag's" waffles.
I've been looking forward to your take on the place and can see already from the production values that we're in for a ride!
0:48 I spoke too bloody soon.
Clinging on to the hope that what you've just put out there is the lead up to some kind of joke or at worst me experiencing good ol' fashioned failing to understand. Two nations separated by a common tongue - type thing.
Not even made it past the first minute of footage and you just spewed up
"... but they never actually obviously used any of them [air raid shelters] because London was safe." 0:51
Putting aside the disrespect shown by you for the abrupt ending of the lives of ⅙ of London's population during the Blitz;
No way could you have said that if you'd known that over 43000 civilians were killed over the initial eight months of Luftwaffe air raids on the capital.
But why, between your visit underground and this showing of your footage, didn't you gen up on such facts‽
Wow! Thank you ~ this is so awesome! ❤ You have a great talent!
can you check out the swiss tunnles/bunkers, I know they allow tours now
Josh, I say you would be the brains behind the team + the planning expert as well as the strategy manager.
😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂
Hi Josh, I’ve missed this Josh. He looks so mature and I love your hair.
It's crazy uploading this the same week fallout london comes out
Hey Josh I think guys should consider getting some climbing equipment & taking a few lessons on climbing.
That way you will know how to safely tie off on something as an added precaution in case something breaks under you & you fall.
It would give you extra tools to use in staying safe.
Also in the gym it's a great workout.
Well for you. I can barely go up my step stool to hang my hammock chair on my porch. Also I have fibromyalgia. I'm just going to assume that fibro doesn't play friendly with climbing.
You might also consider carrying a rescue beacon in some cases too.
You can always leave it off unless needed.
If you don't already carry one, you'd better have one, a good first aid kit would help. Especially with an emergency sleeping bag/blanket.
naww i would've put the BIKE back where it was cause then they will know someone has been down there if its right there and theres FINGERPRINTS on it making it much more known someones been down there
It's on RUclips not exactly a secret
These tunnels are creepy! I hope they spruce the place up a lot! Very awesome video bro! 👍❤️🤘
Great to see you back with another video you go to the most epic places keep up the good work be safe out there much respect to you
Has anyone taken you to the public facility under manchester? Unlike this, almost every major building has access obvious or secret to it in their basement.
I will not survive from the claustrophobia alone, but this is so cool thou
I install and maintain the fire alarm systems in these areas, I’ve been in and around them for 18 yrs, and why you haven’t got respiratory apparatus or at a minimum a decent mask on is so so stupid.
Awesome adventure! Loved it!
It's clear that you've never learned about how much time it takes for the ground to be safe to go back up to.
It's not years.
I don't remember the exact numbers but in 48 hours 70% of the radion dies out.
in 3 weeks it's 99%.
Basically, wait a month and you're good to go.
Notice that both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were rebuilt and people live there for many years now.
It's important to remember there's a difference between a nuclear power plan going "Ka-Boom" and a numclear bomb exploding.
The whole idea in a bomb is to "burn" all it's fuel to generate the explosion so there should be the minimal amount of nuclear waste left - explosion is the WANTED RESULT.
When a power plant explodes, it's uncontrolled and the UNWANTED RESULT.
Fantastic video Josh 🤘🏼❤️

Wish I knew you was coming to my hometown. Loving how you have got yourself a truck Josh ❤ now back to watching xoxo

Years ago josh just drove me nuts. Have to say this video was great and josh has really come into the explores well
This is awesome, I also watch the youtube channel from the London Transport Museum. This gives me an idea of the places that they dont show on otherside. Besides bowling, I think they also have a shooting range.
You should try and get in to King William St. Station! It's abandoned and only opened between 1890 and 1900...
You'll have to get through a man-hole cover though.
I love this video Josh is GIVING STRANGER THINGS !!!!😍☺☺
