for anyone wondering how they hold up in the water. I Bought these and dropped the right bud into a canal after 2 days... yea, they were on the bottom for about 3 hours before a friend with a BFM (big fucking magnet) came along to fish them out. happy to report they continued to function right after they came out of the water covered in silt and mud still going strong. love them

I bought these this past weekend in Fukuoka Japan. They are absolutely brilliant so far. The sound quality is utterly ridiculous. It is literally like having two stereo hi fi speakers in your ears. Even the bass absolutely thumps. I really have no damn idea how Sony got the sound quality so good. Even on a phone call......the sound quality was outstanding. I am in awe of the sound quality all around.

@@ashsaviors i havent experienced any major or regular drop outs. Its happened maybe three times in the four days Ive been using them (no wireless earbuds will have none at all). So i would say yes. Its been taken care of compared to earlier models (one of which i used before), and compared to other brands (two of which I have used before)
Just got these last week. I’ve wanted a pair ever since I seen this video. My first pair of expensive headphones, I must say I’m in love with them. The sound quality it amazing, the fit is fine with the ones one it, I haven’t got to even try the extra sets of tips, I’m going to mess around with those tomorrow.
I work in a loud environment, lots of condenser fans and coolers running, radio on, tv on, other equipment all making humming and other sounds. I don’t always use the noise cancelling when working. It is a really nice feature and seems to block out tons of the noise around me. Battery life is awesome. I highly recommend them. 10/10z

I have these, for anybody thinking about the software limitations, in terms of the control of volume and other issues raised, sony Updated the software so now everything that was initially missing is there, from the case battery life right down to the volume controls, they are amazing

And how they don’t have a good selection of tips so they fall out easy, and they’re bulky, and the touch buttons barely work half the time, and that fucking beeping from one of them when they randomly disconnect, or that fucking constant hiss
There's also the mediocre sound quality, the connectivity, the ergonomics (uncomfortable, wont stay in your ear, weird shape that's hard to handle), the lie of noise canceling (it doesn't make a lick of difference whether it's on or not), the lack of water resistance compared to competitors, the fact it has that blue-flashing feature that normally only shitty knock-off bluetooth buds have, and its excessive price considering all of the above.

@@winatas I just bought some used today, updated software before trying and don't have any of those issues (came with medium stock tips only, were kind of uncomfortable... But I swapped for Comply foam tips and I'm happy now, good fit and secure.)

My brother, I can’t believe you, I tried these with Tidal on HIFI and MQA Master quality, both in FLAC, LPCM and other codecs and formas for HiRes Audio; the music sounds because of the transcode of the phone or the DAC but they don’t simply support nothing but AAC. That why I can’t really believe you’re able to listen Dolby Atmos through these. They don’t even support Dolby Digital which es on the market since two decades ago, just don’t lie to the people who’s looking for advise. They’re really good, the best true wireless buds on the market right know... but they can’t do what you just said.

Just bought it - sound quality is way better than airpods (used them since the reease), noise canceling comparable to Sony over-ear (slightly less isolated).
Sony app is magic, be sure to use it.

I have these for a year now and I just love them! It looks low profile and doesnt look weird on your head.
Noise cancelling works like a charm especially when working in the office (but wfh rn). Ambient sound and ANC options are really useful when commuting. Firmware update is also magical! I bought it the time there was no volume control before. But after a firmware it now has an option for volume control ♥️
Since I wear eye glasses all the time, using these is more typical than using over-ear/on-ear headphones :)
I use it everyday and after a year, it still works and looks like brand new 😯

I've had this set of earpieces for 5 months now... They are the best investment EVER!!! Everytime I listen to Spotify it feels like I have a good quality soundbar in my ear lol.

Sony has been silenced for long enough, in TV's by samsung and LG, in smartphones by everyone, in headphones by bose and audiotechnica, in Cameras by nikon and cannon. But they are coming back strong with 1000XM line of heaphones and earphones, the amazing Sony xperia one, the Sony hypershot, and Sony A9G which is an awsome TV. I'm so excited to see what they bring next

The major issue I have with this is that max noise canceling creates a lot of rasp when you walk in the wind. So you must change the setting for when you walk. This leads to a lot of interruptions in your songs (often unfortunately with the worst timing) since you're always going from one place to another (standing, walking, taking the elevator, walking, taking the escalator, sitting etc.) It's annoying but it's what you have to suffer through if you choose to enable max noise canceling.
Watching the reviews for this stuff knowing I can't afford it.

David Schaeffer it’s trash through 3G or what you have poor 4G signal. The quality is ok when you have at least 3 bars of 4G or if you use Voice over Wi-Fi
I ordered them as soon as they were available on Amazon yesterday. In really excited for them because I wanted the noise cancelling of it's headphone sibling but in a more compact packaging
I have had these earbuds for a month now. The only negative experience from my POV is how small these earbuds are. Out of all the negative things these earbuds are great!

What's more irritating is that I've seen quite a few adverts for these precise earphones on the Seoul subway TVs (I think it was pretty common on the new airport rail line) but it's hard to come by because of the boycott!

You can’t pair them with Windows/Mac either. On my iPhone the voice recorders / WhatsApp send audio does not work with them as well.

These are still on top to this day. The sound performance is just way too good. They are actually closer to the M3 over the ears than they should be for something this small. Sony has a Master Magician.

In all honesty, you’re only going to lose your earphones if you’re careless. I was an early adopter of wireless headphones and it’s been about 4 years and never lost a pair.
