  • Good evening
Today is the of course a day we pause and reflect as June 6th 2023 marks 79 years since the liberation of Europe by Allied forces by land, sea and of course air.
This video allows me to talk through a small portion of the allied air power in 1.72 scale in Diecast by various manufacturers including Corgi, HM, forces of valor, amercom, Ixo , witty wings, Gemini jets and several others.
Also worth noting some of the aircraft we have yet to either in 1/72 or any scale at all - worth noting that I have just remembered that Falcon models did a nice pair of Storch in allied markings as well to add to that list! Of course if I have missed any please mention in the comments below to slap my wrist!!
    Hope you enjoy
    Mark

If I was to come to the U.K in 2024 which air show has the most spectacular WW2 display? Is it Flying Legends in July and will it be at Duxford where the excellent museum is because I just read the organisers had a disagreement last time so it moved venue….. Thanks for the video it is very informative.

Unfortunately legends has moved to church Fenton in Yorkshire which will still be amazing but a new style I guess but it’s all warbirds - aside from that the Duxford Battle of Britain airshow is warbird heavy and always superb
