  • Hello!!! It’s been a while but after digesting the new corgi Diecast catalogue released on 10th January 2023, I was joined by Christian Oakley to discuss our thoughts for the coming year and the schemes and aircraft they have chosen to go with.

Thanks for all your videos. I’ve just gotten into 1/72 WW2 and you’ve helped me make some very happy purchases. I have a few questions: I am struggling to find any Corgi Russian WW2 fighter aircraft, do they exist? If not, who makes the best quality versions? I intend having a small collection of just one or two each of the most significant aircraft (due to lack of space). Can your recommend any particular beautiful Editions for the BF110, P38, Corsair and HE111? Thanks

Where do I start!!! In terms of Russian corgi - only the spitfire V but you can get some decent P39 from HM and Oxford -
In terms of Russian stuff it’s all by IXo / Altaya, Oxford, atlas and some lovely La 5 by skymax who are part of Hobbymaster!
All of the bottom aircraft are all made by corgi (HM do a me110 as well) my favourite in the order are the black antler me110, Robin olds p38 Scat, the RN Corsair from TFC, and probably the doodlebug he111! Hope these help I’m sure they are all featured on here and the Instagram page at some point!!
