Is there a way to easily get rid of all the cracks in the parts that shouldn't move? Basically, all the separate pieces you select at 3:23, I need them to be one mesh, without any cracks, to export to Unity, for use in a game (so it should be as lean as possible). I could obviously go around the whole mesh and manually merge all the verts and delete the unnecessary / unwanted edges and faces, but is there a better / easier / faster way that you can recommend me?
great tutorial. Though i find removing doubles and scaling doesnt really fix those edges. Thing is that more cause the base is a lot of Ngons dont you think?
