Wow
You did a Glorious job interviewing Bobby.
They buried Bobby in WWE ⚰️
Bobby seems at peace with his decision to hang up the boots. Love that he’s not dwelling on his career ending, and has moved into a role that he’s passionate about and can help mold the next generation. Great chat with a couple good Canadians.
His career didn't end it evolved.
Chris is carrying 2024 on his back with these rapid fire interviews he’s killing it
He was such a great wrestler. I know he did well in TNA but he still feels underrated. Beer Money, his turn on Storm, his hilarious tag team with Aries... so many cool moment's
Dirty Heels were so good. The matches they had with The Wolves are some of my faves
Bobby Roode has always given me “Young Triple H vibes”.
It’s really starting to show now that he works backstage, the way he talks, the way he moves, THE FUCKING BEARD.
I am so happy to see him succeed in WWE outside the ring.
He's had the beard for years.
Love that he said: “Nah” to Jericho on his Canadian Mount Rushmore. Lol
Question is is it because he's in AEW or he thinks Jericho doesn't legitimately belong on the mountain
@@hrodriguez561edge and Cristian are also on AEW and he said them
@@hrodriguez561Or his political views or recent accusations. Maybe Roode would have put Jericho on there if he had known that Jericho put him over on his podcast several times before he even went to WWE.
@plovy5115 nah, none of that has anything to do with wrestling lol
I love Jericho. But his opinion is WAY more valid than any of ours! ☝️
Most underrated worker of the modern era... Its criminal he'd never had a world title run in WWE 😔
Bobby is a World Champion….. still underrated as hell thanks for the interview Chris Van Vliet #Bobby🦾
Bobby is one of the most unappreciated talent in wrestling
Not really he was injured like he said
@Ruthless2X122 what?. Man go sit down.
Yup and then he fell in love in producing and making a lot of money doing what he loves it's gonna be hard from him to move back into wrestling if he's comfortable where's he's at
@@Ruthless2X122 I'm referring to his career
@@rickster7373 he's in his mid 40s now and was fortunate enough to have a career with no lifetime injuries, if I were in his shoes I'd be doing the same thing.
Outside of Sobeys once some kids (fans) were bugging him and he spent a good 20 mins signing autographs but had to let them know he had to go as it was one of his kids games and everyone was respectful. GREAT guy!
Yes! One of the best ever!
We are both wrestling freaks from Peterborough and born one day apart.
Who doesnt love Bobby, such great simple gimmicks and a cool guy.
Roode?NO.
Glory!?YES!
This interview is MONEY!
This interview was absolutely…. GLORIOUS !
Bobby was great as the TNA World Champ and tag champ with James Storm in Beer Money. I wish he was still wrestling on a regular basis, but as long as he's happy and he's healthy, that's all that matters.
I would mark out if I heard his entrance again, but like you said, he appears to be fine with where he's at and that's cool.
Saw him lurking in the background of a WWE backstage or social segment in a producer suit a couple weeks ago and was happy to see him still around! Fantastic interview. Just glad he's safe now and pain free (hopefully).
One of my two favorite wrestlers of the last twenty years. His TNA Title run was as good as any I've seen since childhood. God bless both of you.
Chris, this interview you're having with Bobby Roode is off the chain. 😂😂😂😂 See what I did at the end there?
Man that song is legendary but i like more the off the chain instrumental than the one with lyrics
His best theme 😂
Time to go against the grain!
I love his singles run in TNA
@@-xGenesis Look out world
he wore my best friend's jersey in St Louis during the Preds/Blues series and then after that the preds started using his song after playoff wins and before the 3rd period intros :) saw him here in Vancouver at an NXT house show, was a lot of fun! glad to see that hes doing well
Great interview as always Chris. As much as I would love to see Bobby Roode wrestle again, and come back for one last heel run. As a fan of his it’s just great to see that he’s in such good spirits especially given the severity of his injury. As long as he’s happy that’s all that matters. For him to want to give back to the next generation of WWE wrestlers is great to see. Wishing both of you nothing but continued success, and happiness
I love Bobby. Man he deserved so much better in WWE. A TNA Legend...that's probably why
I’m grateful I saw his best years in TNA. Live well Roode
One of my favorites. Wish WWE booked him properly. Just glad he had an amazing career in TNA.
He has risen and still looks absolutely... GLORIOUS!! Glad he is well.
Damn Chris! You’re killing it with these interviews! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great interview, Chris! You always bring out the best in your guests. Bobby Roode is a legend and a class act. I loved hearing his stories and insights. He is a true professional and a glorious performer.
The It Factor run was legendary
Definitely
He was the best wrestler of 2012 imo alongside Punk
Man I miss Bobby. One of the greatest of the NXT black and gold era.
Chris corrects his mistakes on the spot. So smooth. Been a follower for years. Chris you are amazing and an inspiration. I quote your vague goals/vague results speech all the time.
i saw him rehab/workout at PURE and begged the staff to play GLORIOUS
Bullsh*t 🤣
Saw Bobby Roode at the breakfast bar in a palm springs resort for a house show. No words were said, just a simple head nod exchange . I acknowledge him , and he acknowledged back. Simple but felt right ... 🤜🤛
What a glorious moment!
Great interview with my old stickboy for the Peterborough Petes 1989-91. Keep grinding buddy!
I like how he looks for the positives in every aspect of his career.
I love his mention of Kurt Hennig. Bobby Roode was always to me in that range of the Hennig, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Ted Dibiase.
21:42 🤣🤣🤣 “Basically its just a backflip, Petey is just hanging on for dear life”
Beer Money, Inc is one of my all-time favorite tag teams, and their best of 5 with Motor City Machine Guns is one of my favorite fueds. I still listen to the Beer Money theme lol
I'm really hoping Beer Money and Team Canada get a spot in this year's TNA HOF (but also hoping Anthem give Scott D'Amore his job back)
Damn never knew he was from Peterborough thats crazy!!
Always loved seeing Bobby in the ring. I'm happy to hear he's enjoying his producer role.
Excellent interview I love Bobby Roode he was one of the major reasons I love TNA so much his singles career was fantastic him teaming with storm was incredible his run in NXT was amazing his run on the main roster was so incredible and entertaining to watch I'm so glad he's doing good I would absolutely love a match between Bobby Roode and AJ styles that would be one of the greatest matches of all time Love you Bobby thank you for the incredible memories and stay GLORIOUS 😊❤🎉
I didn't watch TNA, but when Bobby Roode came to NXT I absolutely loved him! He reminded me of The Million Dollar Man combined with Kurt Angle right off the bat. He was fantastic in the ring, and cut a really good promo. Heel Bobby Roode was my favorite. I feel like WWE didn't handle him right, but in NXT he was...pardon the pun....GLORIOUS!
Was served a few CVV clips on my shorts feed which lead me here. I am now a subscriber and a fan!
Also I can't believe you're 40... If you didn't say I would swear you were early 30s.
Those neck injury’s are wild. Kurt angle said the same thing happened to him too, losing strength and size
There was a good point made that Bobby Roode was one of the first NXT main event during that era that people won with 1 finishers only, where not every championship was 3-5 finisher matches
Bobby's entrance was legit my all time fave. That gown, that music, those down lights. Perfection.
His nxt takeover entrance was one of the best ive ever seen
Robert Roode aka Bobby Roode was truly amazing in TNA & NXT.
He should be in the TNA Hall of Fame.
Thank you Robert for all your years of entertaining us. I'll always look fondly on your talent and career. You truly were glorious.
One of my favorite TNA world champions 🔥
Great interview. I took a long break from wrestling. When I got interested in wrestling again Bobby was the NXT champion. He was great. I ended up watching NXT because of him.
Love his entrance song. still can hear it in my head
I was at one of those live events Roode is talking about when he teamed with Chad Gable. It was 2019 in Oshawa, they went about 45 min or so with the Revival. Still one of the best matches I’ve seen live!
Thank you 😊 Chris I enjoyed this interview with Bobby roode
Glad you enjoyed it!
Chris, you are doing great buddy. You’ve started so strong to this year. I love to feel the GLORIOUS road to Wrestlemania with your guests!
I remember Bobby's run in TNA, He was really built like a star
Chris all I’ve to say that was a GLORIOUS interview
This interview is *glorious* 😉 🤣 seriously great interview Chris I miss seeing Bobby roode in WWE
Ironic when you start missing a person that pop back up in social media and Bobby Roode has been missed . . . Enjoyed today's conversation Chris. Great job as always!!!
One last tag with Storm would be epic. Beer Money was soo good.
That match he talks about Hogan's last matches in the UK ... I was there! In Manchester! I loved that match. I still remember that now!
That's awesome!
Fantastic as always Chris. I saw Bobby in some ad for elimination chamber recently walking behind triple h so I was pleasantly surprised. Would love one last heel run but just glad he’s healthy n loving what he’s doing now
Wish Bobby had a great run with WWE with the title, didnt know he was that hurt!
One of my favorite TNA champion 🙌🏽 “ Glorious” 🙌🏽😂 great interview 👍
Great interview. Beer money was one of my fav teams, would have loved to have seen them have a great WWE run. Great career, fascinating to listen too
Much appreciated!
Thanks for shouting out my grandfather at the beginning Bobby
We need Bobby Roode back ASAP. Amazing heel energy and a 10/10 intro theme
I'm from Detroit, so he gets points for mentioning Steve Yzerman 😊
I live in peterborough I could bump into bobby roode 😂 I'll keep my eyes open
OMG I love Bobby Rood entrance … NXT take over 2016 november.. was AMAZING 🤩
Peterbrough Ontario good shit buddy/ bobby you made it big time I remember watching you in tna 07
Bobby is such a class act. Wish he had a better run on the main roster. Super happy he’s content and at peace with the ending of his.
Also, it’s great knowing he’s helping the future generations of the industry.
Robert Rude is the greatest TINA world champion of all time.💯
Was youtubing this man's best WWE entrances last night then this pops up today, surreal!
It's like we read your mind!
@@ChrisVanVliet has to be up there with one of the best modern day entrances for sure!
I still selfishly want one last Beer Money run, whether it’s in WWE or elsewhere, but happy to see Roode is happy and healthy
Me and him have the same birthday.,he is older not by much but older.
a glorious interview
Haven't seen Bobby Roode is sometime now. I know that he's backstage now and that's cool that he's healthy and doing good.
Great conversation 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 @chris
I like the Canadian conversion. I rent a 407 transponder.
He’s super humble
It must be a 🇨🇦 thing because Roode sounds exactly like Christian Cage but just a deeper voice lol. I respect the hell outta Bobby and he was sooooo underrated. Guy at one time, to me, was on same level as a Triple H. Look/work/IT factor/promo, everything. Long live 🍺 💰!!!!
Same birthday as Robert Roode. Sick
GLORIOUS!!!! Please step into the ring again!!
Great episode
I haven't watched the full interview yet but I would've loved to hear about him having John Meadows as a fitness coach. I loved John Meadows' youtube channel and he seemed like the Bob Ross of Bodybuilding.
great interview
I wish the WWE fans got to see Bobby in his prime .He is the greatest wrestler of this era who didn't win a main roster WWE World title .
His TNA gimmick will forever be his prime
Would love to see one final match from Bobby.
One of the best wrestlers last 20 year and too underrated
U really built your brand bro remember watching Chris danger career back in the day glad to see how far you’ve made it
TIL that Bobby Roode and share the same birthday! Now I'm even more of a fan than I already was...I'd love to see him get the push he deserves inWWE but if he's happy producing then more power to him👍👍👍
I'm a huge Fan of Bobby Roode the Wrestler!!! Beer Money, WWE should have capitalized on it!!! Bobby is hugely underated, and a wonderful performer!! Wish he could get back in wrestling!!
You need to interview the CFO$, so much of their music defined that era in wrestling!
love this idea. I'd love hearing about the process of making themes
15:46 MY BIRTHDAY 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Bobby was a monster as the heel champ in tna
One of the few amazing elements of that era
Then he goes to wwe as a mid carder
He could have expanded upon the heel character from TNA
It would have been incredible seeing that character in the main event scene
We happy with Bobby's career he could have been something as a main event heel but he got his wrestlemania moment and that's good enough for me.
NOW Ill have GLORIOUS on repeat all day, thanks Chris!!😂😂
It's been stuck in my head since we recorded this! haha
Bummer that he doesn't want to wrestle anymore. Bobby was always one of my favorites in TNA and I was so happy when he came to WWE. Would have loved to see him with a title run. He was great on the mic as well.
Did y'all know Michael Hayes AND Robert/Bobby Roode produced the beautiful Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk tribute show ?
What a great guy 👊
Man this guy should of been world champion. His selling was on point and highly regarded by his peers
Im here for this GLORIOUS interview
