Bobby seems at peace with his decision to hang up the boots. Love that he’s not dwelling on his career ending, and has moved into a role that he’s passionate about and can help mold the next generation. Great chat with a couple good Canadians.
He was such a great wrestler. I know he did well in TNA but he still feels underrated. Beer Money, his turn on Storm, his hilarious tag team with Aries... so many cool moment's
@@aztecwrrior1997Or his political views or recent accusations. Maybe Roode would have put Jericho on there if he had known that Jericho put him over on his podcast several times before he even went to WWE.
Outside of Sobeys once some kids (fans) were bugging him and he spent a good 20 mins signing autographs but had to let them know he had to go as it was one of his kids games and everyone was respectful. GREAT guy!
Great interview as always Chris. As much as I would love to see Bobby Roode wrestle again, and come back for one last heel run. As a fan of his it’s just great to see that he’s in such good spirits especially given the severity of his injury. As long as he’s happy that’s all that matters. For him to want to give back to the next generation of WWE wrestlers is great to see. Wishing both of you nothing but continued success, and happiness
Saw him lurking in the background of a WWE backstage or social segment in a producer suit a couple weeks ago and was happy to see him still around! Fantastic interview. Just glad he's safe now and pain free (hopefully).
Yes! One of the best ever! We are both wrestling freaks from Peterborough and born one day apart. Who doesnt love Bobby, such great simple gimmicks and a cool guy. Roode?NO. Glory!?YES! This interview is MONEY!
Bobby Roode has always given me “Young Triple H vibes”. It’s really starting to show now that he works backstage, the way he talks, the way he moves, THE FUCKING BEARD. I am so happy to see him succeed in WWE outside the ring.
he wore my best friend's jersey in St Louis during the Preds/Blues series and then after that the preds started using his song after playoff wins and before the 3rd period intros :) saw him here in Vancouver at an NXT house show, was a lot of fun! glad to see that hes doing well
Yup and then he fell in love in producing and making a lot of money doing what he loves it's gonna be hard from him to move back into wrestling if he's comfortable where's he's at
@@rickster7373 he's in his mid 40s now and was fortunate enough to have a career with no lifetime injuries, if I were in his shoes I'd be doing the same thing.
Bobby was great as the TNA World Champ and tag champ with James Storm in Beer Money. I wish he was still wrestling on a regular basis, but as long as he's happy and he's healthy, that's all that matters.
Great interview, Chris! You always bring out the best in your guests. Bobby Roode is a legend and a class act. I loved hearing his stories and insights. He is a true professional and a glorious performer.
Chris corrects his mistakes on the spot. So smooth. Been a follower for years. Chris you are amazing and an inspiration. I quote your vague goals/vague results speech all the time.
Saw Bobby Roode at the breakfast bar in a palm springs resort for a house show. No words were said, just a simple head nod exchange . I acknowledge him , and he acknowledged back. Simple but felt right ... 🤜🤛
Excellent interview I love Bobby Roode he was one of the major reasons I love TNA so much his singles career was fantastic him teaming with storm was incredible his run in NXT was amazing his run on the main roster was so incredible and entertaining to watch I'm so glad he's doing good I would absolutely love a match between Bobby Roode and AJ styles that would be one of the greatest matches of all time Love you Bobby thank you for the incredible memories and stay GLORIOUS 😊❤🎉
I watched Bobby Roode in TNA waaaaaay back in the days of Team Canada. I've been out of the game since he was apart of Beer Money Inc., so I've been catching up on wrestling from the last 16-18 years and it has been quite a ride. To see GLORIOUS Bobby Roode, to hear that theme of absolute sovereignty, and to know he'll never step back in the ring makes me feel like we were robbed of potentially one of the greatest heavyweight champions in WWE history. I'm going to be humming his theme for the rest of the foreseeable future.
Great interview. I took a long break from wrestling. When I got interested in wrestling again Bobby was the NXT champion. He was great. I ended up watching NXT because of him.
Ironic when you start missing a person that pop back up in social media and Bobby Roode has been missed . . . Enjoyed today's conversation Chris. Great job as always!!!
Beer Money, Inc is one of my all-time favorite tag teams, and their best of 5 with Motor City Machine Guns is one of my favorite fueds. I still listen to the Beer Money theme lol
I was at one of those live events Roode is talking about when he teamed with Chad Gable. It was 2019 in Oshawa, they went about 45 min or so with the Revival. Still one of the best matches I’ve seen live!
Was served a few CVV clips on my shorts feed which lead me here. I am now a subscriber and a fan! Also I can't believe you're 40... If you didn't say I would swear you were early 30s.
There was a good point made that Bobby Roode was one of the first NXT main event during that era that people won with 1 finishers only, where not every championship was 3-5 finisher matches
I didn't watch TNA, but when Bobby Roode came to NXT I absolutely loved him! He reminded me of The Million Dollar Man combined with Kurt Angle right off the bat. He was fantastic in the ring, and cut a really good promo. Heel Bobby Roode was my favorite. I feel like WWE didn't handle him right, but in NXT he was...pardon the pun....GLORIOUS!
Bummer that he doesn't want to wrestle anymore. Bobby was always one of my favorites in TNA and I was so happy when he came to WWE. Would have loved to see him with a title run. He was great on the mic as well.

Fantastic as always Chris. I saw Bobby in some ad for elimination chamber recently walking behind triple h so I was pleasantly surprised. Would love one last heel run but just glad he’s healthy n loving what he’s doing now
I'm a huge Fan of Bobby Roode the Wrestler!!! Beer Money, WWE should have capitalized on it!!! Bobby is hugely underated, and a wonderful performer!! Wish he could get back in wrestling!!

I was a huge fan of his charisma, aura and in ring presence and it sounds selfish, jokes aside but I would love to see him make that Glorious entrance just one more time. He's on my top list of favourite wrestlers. I'm glad I saw the story🙏🏽🔥
Franchise plus the Game equals the Glorious It factor, Bobby always reminded me of Shane Douglas and Triple H in a way always enjoyed his work anybody ever see his enhancement match on wwe decades ago when he was blonde?
I haven't watched the full interview yet but I would've loved to hear about him having John Meadows as a fitness coach. I loved John Meadows' youtube channel and he seemed like the Bob Ross of Bodybuilding.
It's crazy how Bobby wrestled Perry Saturn who came in with Benoit and Eddie they weighed around 220 and getting pushed as solid mid card talent. Bobby says he learned alot from Kurt, who came in WWF in 99 while Bobby was an enhancement talent. Kurt weighed around 230, and he was pushed to the moon.
It must be a 🇨🇦 thing because Roode sounds exactly like Christian Cage but just a deeper voice lol. I respect the hell outta Bobby and he was sooooo underrated. Guy at one time, to me, was on same level as a Triple H. Look/work/IT factor/promo, everything. Long live 🍺 💰!!!!
