She is everything I wish I was at her age. We do see the world a lot the same (being an introvert and feeling things deeply) but she is way more brave, free and confident than I ever was. Even being middle aged as I am, I find myself learning from her how to find that part of myself that I think I lost or buried along the way. She actually inspired me to start writing again. I used to write songs, poems and stories all the time. Ever since discovering her, I've been writing songs again. She truly is inspiring, and her weirdness is the part I love the best. She just is who she is, and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. We could all learn from her. I know I have.
I get what you mean, these livestreams seem so genuine and authentic with the bad audio, her messing up, etc. It feels very human! I listen to Aurora speak when I cant sleep, or want to relax. such a wonderful soul. listening to her figure out her own complex thoughts is so lovely. Also I love how she didn't want to say the meaning of the song but still said it after she played lol, I also agree with what you said about subtitles... so much is lost in translation.

Aurora's ability to project emotions is also a trait of an Empath. This is sometimes mistaken as witchcraft. But empaths can feel intently and getting into the woods is a common thing to clear and stabilize oneself from the bombardment of feelings from the crowd . Her music is her coping method. I connect with this because I am one also.
Listen to this song Souless creatures live Bergen 2020. IS the only time she performed...and she puts SO MUCH emotion, its not "perfect" but its perfect...if you know what i mean.
What you see here, you can also see in her interviews. That is why so many interviewers have certain problems following her. You can tell immediately which interviewers have prepared for Aurora and which have not. Aurora herself doesn't change. And even those who have prepared for them are usually still pleasantly surprised. Everyone knows that she need time to find words or that she can drift away completely. She can have high-level conversations or very funny or both. It depends on the person opposite and on whether she is bored.
About 90% of her interviews are in English. The Haik documentary in Norwegian is the exception. The other two short documentations are in English. The long podcasts as well.

The part where Aurora talks about serial killers keeping the body parts in boxes ... the song is called "in boxes".
I like her livestreams and I know she repeat herselves a lot overall. But this is firstly due to the foreign language she speaks so that everyone understands it and of course it also has a limited vocabulary. Second, she is an introvert who is playing the solo entertainer for many here. Do this without someone who can keep the conversation going. I imagine it to be incredibly difficult. She primarily writes songs. She is not an entertainer. On the other hand, she sometimes does it much better than someone who is by profession. And yet that doesn't stop them from being here for us live.
I love this imperfect demeanor and her mistakes in singing. I'm so fed up with the constant beautiful glow of the supposedly perfect from others, that it should then serve as a model for many.
