Unlike you said, I think she has the most grounded and natural voice I have not heard in a long time. Her confidence and focus is amazing. Her expression comes from very deep within. It is the honesty of it that makes her voice a steady vehicle. We get emotional because a talent like hers is very rare. This is pure singing, telling a story so directly from the emotional core and with that taking us into the adventure itself. We only then dare to let go and follow her blindly into the magical world of music. Writing this down, I realize the words are inspired by what I just experienced.
I truly don't think Aurora is channeling anyone or thing . I think on every level the credit for Aurora's abilities belongs solely to her . She is stunning awe inspiring unique a genus and is someone other humans should strive to emulate . I think of Aurora is the perfect storm of the best of human attributes come together in one beautiful very special young lady . Which the rest of us should all treasure and protect for that every reason .
Dude, the entire concert is magical, beautiful, entrancing, hypnotic, awe inspiring, ethereal, etc. Since this was the first song of the concert, I suggest you keep it rolling. I promise you will not be disappointed!
This concert was my first ever introduction to Aurora. I'd never even heard of her before that night.
I literally remember the date.... March 18, 2020. My work had just closed, I was locked up at home, with nothing to do...scouring RUclips for something. Stumbled across this concert somehow....and for the next hour my jaw was on the floor. It legit changed something in me. Opened things up in a big way. Now, over 2 years later, I'm a huge Aurora fan....a dedicated Warrior & Weirdo for life.
But this concert will always hold a very very special place in my heart. I'd kill to be able to go back in time and relive experiencing it for the first time....
I've probably seen it 15 times in full since then....and I'm sure I'll see it at least that many times in the future. It simply does not get old. Every 3 months or so....I need it.
@@avedic Beautiful story! I personally am a metalhead. I listen to extreme music. Deathcore, slam, death metal, etc. The RUclips algorithm suggested I watch a reaction video for Walking In The Air live at Nidarosdomen. That was before Christmas in 2020. I haven't been the same since. I can't tell you how many times I've watched the entire concert video. I've watched every reaction video of the entire show along with every reaction to each individual song from the concert. There's no way Aurora is human! She lives so free. She truly is a once in a lifetime talent. Our little forest fairy! Peace and love my friend! ✌🏻❤
Lovely, lovely pure AURORA. It's only one thing which make me sad. That is much more with her besides Nidarosdomen and KEXP. This short masterpiece (cover) have so many performances which is as good or better than this. But at the same time, it's so amazing that so many people react to her voice. Thanks man.
who the hell dislikes this!? blows my mind! a couple of more you should try from this concert. Great reaction, thanks. This is a Nat King Cole song, beautifully covered and interpreted by AURORA. There are a few covers (3?) in this concert I think. Hope you react to them all.
I'm not sure if you know but this is a cover! Aurora was 20-21?? during this concert. She's currently 24! A young and old spirit combined haha. I hope you continue with this concert!

Every time AURORA makes a cover, she makes her own version. She has now made a version of BonnyM:s Rasputin. She takes a disco song and makes it into a folk song :-)
This is a very, very special concert. Handle it, and her, with care. Looking forward to follow on the journey.
A beautiful song that I've always liked over the years, whoever sings it. AURORA's version hits me the most though. A combination of her wonderful voice, the location and the instruments is just perfect. I didn't even miss the backing vocals of Silja Sol not being present (their collaboration often amazes me, the way their voices fit together so well).

An Etherial voice indeed. Plan on doing other reactions to this concert? What i really love about her though is just how diverse she is. Currently my two favorite songs are "Under the Water", live at VEVO Halloween and "In Boxes" , studio version for once, because the storytelling is so good, i want the imagery to stay in my head.

Fun fact: This song is used in the Alien: Covenant trailer ... that's when i first heard of aurora. It is so haunting and captivating. I still get goosebumps listening to it.
