She was not in this world at the end of that song, that's for sure. Go for Aurora, she will give you the chills over and over again. Murder Song from the same concert is a classic and truly epic performance.
Hard agree on this for your next listen. After that, when you recover, I'd recommend "Through the Eyes of a Child". My preference is the Live, Stripped version, which is a capella, but many also like the same song from her performance at Nidarosdomon. BTW, nice to see someone who gets Aurora exactly right.

Aurora is the total package - singer, songwriter, musician, dancer, producer/arranger, choreographer, and an absolutely lovely human being (and she’s just 24 years old!). She will often perform her songs quite differently - sometimes with her band, other times stripped down to just her and one instrument, a cappella, with full orchestra, etc. - so it is definitely worth listening to different versions of the same song. Also, some of her videos are mini-masterpieces as well.

This managed to fall past my radar, I heard you say you reacted to this from the Nature Boy video... Aurora is 1 of a kind for sure. beautiful vocals from a lovely down to earth gal. Some people find her embodiments of music unsettling, so it's nice to hear you understand that music has that power to take over when somebody really feels what they sing. a work of art.

She's an angel,
She told in an interview that it took her about hundred gigs, before she was anywhere near being confortable at stage. She didn't really want to perform, just make music. It was the connection to her audience that made her change her mind. Now she just enjoys the moment.

I saw your reaction to the Nidarosdomen concert, then came to this one. Both are very thoughtful and insightful. Aurora was 19 at the time of this performance and she wrote the lyrics when she was 11. At the press conference for this prestigious event, she was feeling a little intimidated by all the famous and important people involved, so she took a pine cone with her to help her feel grounded. To complete the trifecta and witness a different side to Aurora, take a look at "Daydreamer" from the HAIK concert 2019 (filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood) to see her smile and dance with joyous abandon. The HAIK concert is simply magical. In "Daydreamer", Aurora says "I know I'm just a girl but can I change lives?". The answer of course, in respect to this petite powerhouse, is a resounding yes.

@@bojangles2757 Also, have a look at some of her interviews, clips of her talking to the audience at gigs, her live streams and especially the 45 min documentary about the HAIK concert. Aurora is quite a character, wise, thoughtful, intelligent, honest, witty, funny, playful, quirky and always displaying bucket loads of charisma. There is also a great clip of an interview she did with her older sisters for Norwegian TV. Miranda is her make up artist (Aurora says she doesn't like people touching her face, so she only trusts her sister) and Viktoria makes her costumes. So, it is "Team Aurora". Credit also goes to the fantastic musicians who have supported her in her career so far.

She has made an interesting comment. When she writes and makes music she is the Goddess with absolute power to make and change and break and rebuild. But when she is performing she is a "tool" that exist to channel "something" for the audience. It is an interesting concept - she is a goddess as creator or music - but a vulnerable individual when channeling her own music out to people. It makes some sense.

I prefer to give the credit of a persons amazing talent to them . Not to some unknown entity we can't prove even exists . It's the person that was born the unusual aptitude and then worked very long and hard to achieve something so profound it cuts right to our core and moves us so deeply . It's all Aurora's doing and no other worldly thing has anything to do with it . Give the credit where it's due , Aurora herself . Other then that like thought the reaction was great .
