Grew up (here in Canada) when metric was just being adopted by our country as "the Official system...blah, blahs blahs, so had to learn both, as well as converting!🙄😳now THAT was a *head pain!* But in my adult years, it's paid off, bigly!

I make these often for guests, they're always the first thing to be finished, everyone loves them. Sometimes I make them with some chopped fresh chives and finely grated cheese like gruyere or parmiggiano for a savoury version. I don't add any sugar at all. They're delicious too, I prefer the savoury ones. I used to make these completely by hand but when I came across your video and saw that you use a similar mixer to mine, I started to use my mixer - much easier but even done by hand, they are worth the effort. My grandma made these. Same ingredients , except it's circular then folded twice until it is shaped like a triangle and called butter flaps. It was so yummy.

Lovely! I can imagine making these with salted garlic or herb butter as a side dish for a barbecue. Edit: I made them today: half of them with salted garlic butter, the other half with salted butter mixed with tiny pieces of dried tomatoes. Delicious and beautiful and sooo very fluffy! Next time I'll stick to your recipe, looking forward to it! ❤️
Looks so yummy definitely will try it , so I noticed you didn't have to egg wash the surface but they had a beautiful colour , also can we add bit of cinnamon sugar or would that spoil the simplicity I love all your creations ،👍❤️❤️
hi, i subscribed to your channel and am enjoying all your wonderful videos. today i tried the cruffin receipe. can you tell me why when i rolled out the dough and was about to put the butter, the dough would shrink back? is it because i didnt roll enough ?
Does the milk need to be warmed up and the year to let it rise, I didn’t see it say anywhere about that, I’ve seen some of these recipes call for cold milk so I’m kinda not suer and I want to make this, I’ve made her wool bread and it was amazing now I want to try this out
