My summer project has been to tear down my old broken down mini barns and build a new shed/workshop. This video is a quick overview of building the new shed.
Thanks! I used the plans found on construct101.com and adjusted as needed for my door and window. I can't remember how much everything cost but it was certainly a lot less than it would cost now that lumber prices have skyrocketed!
I can't remember what they are exactly but they were the ones recommended for the hangers. If I remember correctly they're galvanized. I got the hangers and nails at Home Depot.
Gonna be starting on a 12x24 trappers cabin soon, this is verrry close to same layout I'm going with. Good video
Quick Simple and Efective.👍
Thanks! 👍
Well done!
Thanks!
Nice job.
Thanks!
Nice work! do you have any plans you can share? Also, who much did all the material cost?

nice vid, the music is too loud though...
Did you regret not making it bigger...? After building mine, I kicked myself for not going a bit bigger. The next shed/workshop has to be 16 x 20....
Its a good size for now but man 16x20 would be a great size, you're right!
Never understand osb outside!!! Never heard sbout water diffindation from inside to out side. In europe we use mdf or tyvek for outside
How far apart should the rafters be
I went with 16 inches on centre
What kind of nails did you use on the joist/rafter hangers ( 3:07 )
