"The experts make it look difficult, but the masters make it look easy". 😍😍
Aw thanks! Video editing helps too 😉💕
I mean it looks impossible to me.
This is brilliant. I’m trying to learn how to paint trees and foliage with gouache. I’ve not been successful yet. Which is why I’m watching RUclips on how to do it. I just cannot get the brush strokes right. I need to use a smaller brush after watching your video. Thank you for sharing 😊
I’m so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching ☺️💕
Just finished this one as my first ever gouache (and nearly first-ever art in general) painting. I definitely need practice but this was a great introduction and mine actually looks really lovely. Thank you for the tutorial!

I just got a set of gouache colors and found your tutorial, it was a great introduction. Wish I’d had the exact colors you used but it still came out really lovely. Thank you!!

I’ll be honest and forward. This is absolutely beautiful. This might be one of my favorite landscapes I’ve seen in gouache! Please make more! And thank you for this! I want to try to paint this. I love the colors you achieved. I will definitely be trying out this pallet.

I’ve just recently got into gouache and watercolor, I’ve always been better with oil but after watching a few of your videos plus seeing James Gurneys stuff I’m hooked. I’ve done two sketches in gouache over the weekend and I’m completely in love with it. Your work is phenomenal and you definitely deserve the praise! Thank you for sharing

Stunning!
Thank you! ☺️🙏
Amazing! thanks for sharing
Thank you! ☺️
Its fantastic! Can you tel me which palette do you use?
Thank you! My palette is just a sheet of clear acetate over a white piece of paper 😊
@@RuthWilshaw Thank you for the Information!👍
That's alot of paint still left in the palette. I hope you use it next time since gouache can be reactivated. That's why I only take little and take more if I require to not waste paint.
Indifferent manufacturers pynes gray giv different results I e. Pebo T7, is very much lighter than darer rowly. Which is your preferred type?
Your voiceover we extremely helpful. I’ll certainly try this exercise. Thank you for your wonderful channel.
Nice painting 💕💕
Thank you! ☺️
id love to do this but i dont have a paynes grey? is there a way i can mix it?
Payne’s gray is black with just a little ultramarine- but using just black would be fine 💕
@@RuthWilshaw thank you so much!
Begging you to slow down these videos just a little T.T
You can use the settings to slow the video down! I agree though I put my hand up for a longer video too 🤚🏻
Hi Ruth, im new subscriber. Do you use acrylgouache ? What is your opinion about that compared to gouache. Im a big fan of sarah burns
Hi! No I just use regular gouache- I’m not a big fan of acrylic gouache, I’m terrible for leaving paint to dry on my brush and with acrylic gouache I would ruin way too many brushes like this! 🤦🏻♀️ Sarah is a wonderful artist 😊💕
@@RuthWilshaw i meant to say to me you are exceptional like sarah...sorry to compare...each to her own special 🙏
I failed so hard 💔 I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong
Oh no! 😢 Gouache can take a little getting used to so don't be too hard on yourself. What issues are you having?
Beautiful! Thank you.
