- I love to paint in sketchbooks, but this is the first time I've filled one up completely. This juicy little book is packed full of gouache landscapes I've painted over the last year, so lets take a look at how it turned out!

💕MATERIALS I LOVE 💕
PAINTS- The Winsor & Newton 6 piece mixing set is a great place to start with gouache!
BRUSHES- For brushes I use a 1/2" angled shader, a 1/2" flat, size 8 filbert, size 6 round petal and size 2 liner. These are Kingart Original Gold Series brushes- I've been using these brushes exclusively for nearly 2 years now and I love them!

Ruth. That book is a thing to be proud of. I recently purchased both of your Domestika courses. I have done the first watch/listen pass and plan to go back and review them again after trying some of the work. I really wish I had known the virtues of 100% cotton paper prior to diving into gouache and watercolors. I guess my less expensive paper is still good for practice.

Dont you think you could spend same time in acrylics and oils to sell your art? Because gouache isnt saleable as much. Im thinking for myself. But i do enjoy gouache for sure😊
Sure I could! But I paint for my own enjoyment rather than to sell my work and gouache is so wonderfully convenient for this! 🥰
