      @@judymiles6998 Yes, twice. Not counting the Patients with exogenous CS as a result of medication, of course. I referred these two Patients for further diagnosis (turned out tumors). Fortunately, today they are doing well.

    I went to a plastic surgeon last month about my “ buffalo hump” when I was there he said he was going to take pictures and send them to my insurance. Today I received a letter saying it was going to be covered 👍🏼 I have surgery next month.

    Been following those exercises from the videos, hoping it'd work. I had a doctor said my neck hump was called by posture, so I thought perhaps those exercises would help. I hate how the neck hump looks

    I have a habit of slouching. I been this way since I was a kid. It looks worse since I gained weight and I’m stressing over if I have Cushing or not. Im 26 year old male. I have belly fat , love handles but no purple marks nothing like that. My face is normal. My back of my neck doesn’t look like a lump like u see in the pictures. But when I slouch it sticks out a little. Its gone when I stand up straight. I was diagnose with scoliosis when I was 15.

    So can it be just from obesity, or were you saying that the obese person also likely has an underlying condition?

    • @katephysiotherapistwithbraid
      @katephysiotherapistwithbraid  Год назад +5

      Hello, we cannot say that something is "just from obesity". Obesity, unlike humps, is already a disease, classified both in ICD10 and much more broadly in ICD11.
      The vast majority of cases of obesity are associated with serious metabolic disorders, which is why practically every obese person will present multi-organ dysfunctions over time. Also those that may affect the distribution of body fat within the body.
      Obesity is a disease in itself and needs to be diagnosed and treated as such. Unfortunatelly, when it comes to in-depth diagnosis of obesity, it happens differently, at least in my country. In most obese Patients, hormonal tests are not performed, which in my opinion should be performed in nearly every case. Summing up, yes - I believe that many obese Patients are underdiagnosed.
      Have a great day! :)

    12:20 the photo of the woman is photoshopped. You can tell because the bra strap is identical in both pictures. If two separate before and after pictures were taken they would not get the distance, angle, etc to be exactly the same. Always look for “identical” items in before and after pictures to determine if they are fake. They often are.
