- How to Setup Your stream on Twitch Studio and How to use Twitch Studio. The Twitch Studio Software is Twitch's competition for OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS. Twitch Studio is an easy live stream software to use for beginning to stream on Twitch and may honestly be the easiest live streaming software. In this Twitch Studio Tutorial I'll be showing you how to use Twitch Studio and how to get Twitch Studio Setup, how to add a webcam to Twitch Studio , how to add Alerts to Twitch Studio, as well as how to go from the installation point all the way up until the START STREAMING.
Twitch Studio is STILL in Beta however, so more functionality may come in the future!

I think there's an audio channels plugin for twitch studio that you'd just add the audio channel of whatever is playing the music to if I recall

Absolutely amazing. One question: once I have finished setting everything up (as though I'm ready to go live), but I want to go back change a few things (background for example), how do I go back and edit it?
You can do that while live :)
Also, if I were to use Streamlabs/streamelements, would it just be as simple as it is in OBS with just posting the URL as a browser sauce?
Yep! it's the same, and I always suggest OBS over everything, but Twitch Studio isnt bad :) the CPU usage is decent, but SLOBS takes up a LOT more
Hey man thanks for the help! Quick question, when I try and watch recordings on windows media player, it says that WMP doesn’t support the file type... any ideas what I can use instead to watch clips?
Try changing it from flv to mp4 in settings :)

Hello, love the video. I just have one question, is there a way you can make your own gifs in the alerts larger in view without having to make the alert itself larger?
I think you'd probably have to increase the size of the actual file
@@GSFeare I fear that no matter how much the size of the file it will still be so small. I tried a very large picture and it turned out like the gifs very small. Hopefully they allow us soon to fix the GIFs and picture sizes on our own.
@@mikedaou5188 Yeah you may be right, i have a video on setting up Twitch Studio Custom Alerts through Streamelements and such by using the browser source, you could try it that way :)

You're welcome! Twitch is a bit easier than RUclips streaming, since you've gotta make a description etc to rank in search

Ive actually moved over to OBS to be honest with you, i do believe twitch studio has the setting for green screen :P, but im not entirely sure on the backgrounds part. You could always try just adding and cropping the image down :)

There should be an option in settings to change where the recorded videos go, I'd check there :)

Going through the initial setup I have my camera enabled however I’m not getting the camera setup option popping up on the initial setup. It goes from mic, to scenes, to stream quality test and nothing else.
That's weird, have you tried restsrting your PC? Sometimes the camera is being used by another app

I don't think you can, try looking into Overlay Expert on Google :)
I noticed droidcam on your webcam options. Did it work? im trying to use it now and it just shows up as a black screen so im forced to used OBS from steamlabs which is confusing.
It only worked on obs for me
Yo if im streaming RDR2 on a 1440p monitor is it better to change the in game resolution from 1440 to 1080p? If im streaming at 1080p?
It should only change it on your stream but not your actual game resolution

Trying to figure out how to capture my Ps5 gameplay using twitch studio and a MacBook Pro. Would i need capture card? Or just go live from my console and pull up the webpage maybe
I think PlayStation has an app for your computer if your internet is strong enough, but im not sure with mac

We've been trying to stream with Twitch Studio, but even though the app says we're live, our channel still says we're offline and the stream doesn't show up (tried streaming from the mobile app that that worked just fine). Any ideas?

Hiya! I am having trouble with audio. My mic is a razor keylo. I want my it through my headset.
There should be a way to reroute it to your headset in the audio section, also you could try changing your actual audio in windows to headset default

Thanks a lot for the video it really explained the steps well.
However, I first started streaming on twitch using twitch studio, and then I had to switch to OBS which was a painful process but I'm pretty happy with OBS.
The reason for the change was that Twitch Studio uses a lot of CPU no matter if you're using NVEC or x264 encoder. I don't why this happens and this costs my stream a lot of frames. The bitrate is another issue, in OBS I stream at 5800 but on Twitch I can stream with just 4500 which looks really bad if the canvas is set to 720p60. Maybe because it's in the development stage but Twitch Studio is not the ideal candidate for me right now. Although the in-game overlay feature is to die for which shows the chats and the alerts in-game, hope OBS has something like that in the future.
I forgot to mention that I have an i5-2400s and a GT 710 graphics card with 8GB physical memory
I love using obs, all the plugins are great :D I can totally agree
