✅ Today's tutorial I show you how to stream on twitch using your Xbox and windows PC or Laptop WITHOUT needing a capture card! We'll be using the Xbox app and OBS Studio in order to start streaming to Twitch. That way you can have more control over your livestream and add alerts, overlays, chat and more! This works for Xbox One, Series S & Series X consoles.

Can you do a video on how to stream on ps5 on pc with capture card +dual monitors
Simply add the capture card to obs by adding a new video capture device source and selecting the capture card :D
How is input delay determined? Is it possible to reduce it? Could I theoretically have it pass through to pc but still play through xbox to stream it but play with no delay?
It's been a minute since I've done this, so honestly I don't recall off-hand, but if someone does, please feel free to chime in! :D
Hey I have a question. Can you use your xbox mic through your xbox consle and still have people hear it?
Not 100% sure on the setup for that, but as an alternative you can have a separate mic for your pc

Nice tutorial man helping a lot but there is an issue when I click away from the Xbox app or the screen it’s say “click or tab here to continue playing “ how do you remove that ?
Just make sure to have the xbox app as the main thing that's opened after you're done making changes etc, so alt tab back into it or click the continue playing button or whatever it says on the app :D

I'd recommend using an ethernet cord to connect both your xbox and computer to the same router

Mac doesn't have the xbox app, so no I don't think so. With mac you will need a capture card :(

As soon as i click elsewhere on my pc to swap scenes etc it says click here to continue playing on the xbox app and also shows on screen which doesnt allow me to control the stream at the same time. any idea how to fix
I'd recommend settings hotkeys inside obs to switch scenes and whatever else you'd like to change on the fly
Instead of using window capture… use game capture… you have to do specific window ( I think that’s the name) and select Xbox. Once you click back to obs that message should be gone. Let me know how you make out.

Ok so I at the moment only have one monitor since I use my laptop how do I use Obs as primary once all is said and done so it stops saying click or tap here to continue without swapping off Obs to the Xbox app?
Add the source as a game capture instead of window capture
If you're using 1 monitor, you'll want to keep the game as the primary until you get 2 monitors
So this is all through remote play on your pc entirely? Is there any way to do this while physically playing the xbox and streaming through computer/OBS without a capture card?
Yeah you can play on your TV like normal with this method. It just also allows you to play through your pc if you want
@@CpawsMusic I tried this just now, and found that my Xbox wouldn’t take my controller inputs because it wanted to do it though the remote play. Unless I’m missing something and you don’t need to remote play to stream the Xbox capture and I’m just stupid haha
@@CpawsMusicI’m having Dave issue it starts off good then it just stops my remote play and disconnects. I tried plugging controller to computer it doesn’t catch
I wish there was a way to capture and steam the remote play, and still play on your Xbox.

I’ve done all of this , but remote play is very grainy . Having issues making it look as it should .

Followed everything you said so once i connect everything and click remote play my laptop screen turns and stays black and says disconnected from cloud gaming session

This clears temporary cache data related to cloud gaming, potentially resolving connectivity issues. 7. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox Series S is running the latest software update. But then i hear the game in my laptop for a min screen still black and this is disconnects completely 🤷🏽♂️

@@CpawsMusic So if you’re playing on a regular tv then change your display setting resolution from 720p to 1080p on your xbox settings. I did this and the game appeared on my laptop with audio as well.

So sometimes when I stream with OBS I’ll start up the game and it’ll lag the gameplay. And it’ll lag it out to the point where it disconnects. I restart Both pc and Xbox and it doesn’t seem nothing works?

How do I stream to RUclips from Xbox with no capture card?
Same process but replace the Twitch Stream details in OBS Stream Settings with RUclips Stream Connections
i tried this and it worked the first time but the next time i tried to do game capture for the xbox app its just showing up as a black screen any reason why?
Not 100% sure, but I'd recommend using a Display capture instead since it'll force it to capture everything on your monitor

You can connect a 2nd monitor to a laptop as well, I've got 2 connected to mine ;)
Remote play has extreme latency.... i guess you'll need a capture card to play ON THE CONSOLE and stream to your PC?
You can still play on your xbox and TV like normal with remote play, you do not need to play on your computer, this is simply for sending the footage to OBS for your streams/recording :)

I have a MacBook that has obs and using my iMac desktop to virtually connect to my Xbox/fortnite. In obs the iMac desktop doesn’t appear in drop down for window capture or display capture.

I'd try unplugging and replugging your second monitor into your computer and try the display capture again @@essentiallyyvonne

Unfortunately you can't use this method with 360 or OG Xbox :( You'd need a capture card for those
