I mean, when you reach the end of the genocide route, you've already lost every chance to turn back, so really the best option, if you want to change, is to go back to the very beginning, but you have a real chance by stopping where you are, here, so he gives that chance to you.

I think what makes this remix better than others is that most remixes try too hard to be better than Megalovania, so they sound super complicated and over the top. It feels like this song isn't trying to be anything, it simply is. I do like the motif mixups too, gives the song some variety.

I find it interesting that instead of the pie saying "Pie" in the menu like it does in Undertale for serious fights, it says "ButtsPie" like in the normal fights. This implies that sans isn't taking this super seriously, since you've only massacred the ruins so far. Of course this is all assuming that it was intentional on the dev's part.

Love the take on the Geno run after getting out of the ruins which I think is what should have happened when you leave the Ruins in the Geno Run. Everything about this mod is really great and well executed. There are a few plot nitpicks, like how sans likely wouldn’t have been able to witness the death of toriel because of the long hallway between them and the fact that sans just doesn’t care enough to fight the human that early. But, it’s a fan game, so anything can apply. Without those nitpicks, sans is as he would be in game.
Yeah none of this entirely makes sense he definitely would have no clue toriel was dead until he suspected something happened later on when he tells you he hasnt heard a response from that door in a while.
Well Sans can canonically teleport so maybe he was watching the battle behind Frisk, out of their sight. I don’t know why he would be in the Ruins however maybe he wanted some pie lol
I think in this fangame he instead of just being a person behind the door, he instead visted toriel face to face as actual friends, and noticed when he went to visit that all the monsters were dead.

this fangame is great, the attacks are unique and very creative yet stay faithful to the original game. it is a very interesting challenge with some hidden tricks in the attacks too.

its not exactly that, if you use the movement keys while blue bones are in contact with you then you take damage, but yeah close enough
