Gaster just dishes out literal *plot armor* to the timelines, that’s it. He doesn’t argue with player, he doesn’t [FIGHT] or [ACT], he just protect all the timelines and stuff, he earns my respect.
As the man who speaks in hands from an au that went from a chill place to an absolute hell. I can say this experiment, is truly a wonderful Au I have ever seen.
This also sucks, it's just some self insert thing. The creator of this Cleary just hated people doing genocide playthroughs sp they made this comic where this "super awesome scary but also nice hacker person, stops all the mean players from being evil" it's just as if not more cringey than every other undertale comic or animation. In fact, you comparing it to Manga is hilarious because that's pretty much the cringiest you can go. I don't like undertale that much but I know for one thing that sans is the hardest boss in the game, and that he can remember things you do in other saves, so can flowey. So it makes sense why people make him so strong, it's because he is. The people who make these comics have all played undertale and most likely fought sans or have seen someone fight him, so they make sans super strong. The way he acts in alot of these comics is pretty realistic. It's one of the only times where the "im super nice, but dont make me mad" character isn't cringey, because in the game sans hints at being secretly really dangerous. And he only ever reveals his "bad side" when you kill literally everyone. Him being secretly really strong is part of his character and surprise in the game.
Also judging by your profile picture I guarantee you like way cringier things than undertale, atleast with undertale the game itself isn't super cringy

Well guess how Mary Sues started? I kinda like Underplayer because all those fancy stuff they can do means crap and they are as much forced to obey the rules as anybody else. With exeption of Asriel/Flowy but there is a load of fanfics with Asriel back from dead. Edit: Just for a record, The Player is not a Mary Sue. Mary Sue bends laws of universe and common sense, while Player technicaly could do that, they can't because the plot. Yes, they can befriend enyone, but Frisky can do the same in canon, and yes they can break the barrier without souls but because [REDACTED] they can't. They are kinda in "dices were thrown, but we are playing cards" situation.
Wow, I absolutely love this. Putting your own spin on Undertale's timeline jumps and giving the main character traits and motivations that are like what plenty of undertale fans would do if they were in that situation, this is s complete masterpiece amd I'm glad i found this at a time where I'm going through a lot of stress. I was watching some tumblr shorts from Bettina Lee and thought "wonder what's popular on this channel" that led me to a nostalgia trip the end of which is here . Undertale was such a big part of my childhood so i feel strangly comfortable right now .
Sans seeing "PLAYER" soul is like if a 2d character could see our 3d world. It's just too complex and otherworldly. I really like how he's overwhelmed and end up just straight up firing at player.
He fired at the player cuz the player gave him all memories from pacifist neutral and genocide timelines. His last memory was of him dying just like flowey's was begging for his life.
Something I think is a core of what Toby Fox was asking: agape love. Willing to sacrifice oneself for their friends. In Undertale _we_ grow close to the characters, _we_ are asked to sacrifice our desire to be with them for their happy ending. We’re given the choice to RESET and be with them longer, but that would take away _their_ happy ending (though we could always redo a Pacifist as long as we avoid a Genocide). We’re asked: “will you sacrifice your happiness for your friends’?” Are we ok with getting a perfect ending for everyone… except ourselves?

This is literally a perfect world. A world where Chara and Asriel get a second chance. One where everyone lives. One where the barrier is broken. I wanted some kind of fanfiction about this, so I’m so glad I found this comic. This is cannon to me now.
This is like where you're enveloped in a fantasy world and you start mentally inserting yourself into the story, but as an omniscient and omnipotent version of yourself, though taken to a whole new level.

Three years ago. Gee. These voice actors are insanely good, it sucks Undertale has had its bad rep due to the fandom, but I am so happy the fandom had its gems as-well. This is a massive one, and I’m so excited to keep watching this.

One of the best comics/series voice acted by the best group of Undertale voice actors, I've watched this over a dozen times, and I can't admire this enough, amazing work, and remember everyone, Stay Determined, and despite everything, it's still you.
I like to think of this as the PLAYER Paradox. In which one seeks out a goal but while doing so, they cannot find their perfect goal, it may be off by a bit, a bit rough around the edges, so the person goes back to the start and tries again and again and again. Repeat until the person is trying so much and so hard that they're hurting themselves. The goal was never attainable, it was never within sight, it was simply there because the person WANTED it to be.

Something I think is a core of what Toby Fox was asking: agape love. Willing to sacrifice oneself for their friends. In Undertale _we_ grow close to the characters, _we_ are asked to sacrifice our desire to be with them for their happy ending.
We’re given the choice to RESET and be with them longer, but that would take away _their_ happy ending (though we could always redo a Pacifist as long as we avoid a Genocide).
We’re asked: “will you sacrifice your happiness for your friends’?”
Are we ok with getting a perfect ending for everyone… except ourselves?

How ironic
I like to think of this as the PLAYER Paradox. In which one seeks out a goal but while doing so, they cannot find their perfect goal, it may be off by a bit, a bit rough around the edges, so the person goes back to the start and tries again and again and again.
