I love how this accurately showcases Sans' comedian persona being used to hide his depression, and having said depression, since it's pretty hard to see being portrayed in other fan-stories and comics.

The only thing we have sorta confirmed about him faking anything is the actual opposite, instead he hides whatever secrets he has within that little skull of his with a comedian facade, which he sheds whenever he deems it necessary (like during the date with him (specifically when he threatens you), or the Geno fight). Plus his dialogue during the Pacifist fight with Asriel as a Lost Soul, plus his fight dialogue imply some sense of the term, and while he is the type to keep secrets, he isn't the type to lie during a fight to the death or being a quite literal Lost Soul where your personality is bogged down to its most basic form like in the previously stated Pacifist Asriel fight. Nothing from the game ever implies that he's faking depression or something stupid like that. This is kinda the 1 problem with the fandom making too many of their own ideas that arent canon to Undertale, it's always assumed it's a part of the game and it's lore when it isn't. It's just your imagination people.

I love how much this puts into perspective how a player interacts with a living world. Frisk nor Chara choose genocide, the player did. And because of that, both thought it was the other's idea. Because the player doesnt exist in their world, its like a conscious that inhabits a body and leaves the moment it cant do anything. Gaster put it best, he first wanted to break the barrier, but after realizing their world wasnt real, he didnt care anymore.

One thing that I love about this comic is that if you look closely Frisk is actually communicating using sign language. That's extremely clever because Frisk is almost completely mute in the game thus they're communicating using a method that doesn't require them talking to do so. Its a very good detail that I love.
The way I see it, this comic, the fact that we get to see this comic and than choose weather or not to continue or reset, means we were still in control of Frisk. If we choose reset, we force them back into the loop, where if we choose continue, we're letting them go. Their copy is here, on the internet, in a place we can't see, and more importantly, where we can't control, which is why there is no part two. We gave up control so now they're off, continuing on without us. We freed them. At least that's my headcannon anyways.
Well, to be fair, if you (or us) are still in control of Frisk, you/we would control it in it's entirety, what you're doing here is just controlling a piece of time. If you/us could control Frisk, you/we would be able to control his decisions too, and change everything as you/we prefer. Yeah it is sad, specially when you know that after all you did, something else is going to ruin that happy ending. I mean at firs I thought I hated Chara, but after watching many endings, and in every ending I've seen that she only wishes to be loved and to make people happy. But what she got was just hate and regrets... But the most painful person to watch here is Sans... He only wants to see people around him smile, to protect them. Even if that means lying and giving up his happyness. It hurts whe you give up everything for the ones you love, and just can't be able to tell the truth, because they REALY would not understand, and it is painful that even that you han no option, you had to hurt that person... I think that in this continuity, Gaster provided Sans with... something. Something that helped him survive or extend the deadline to complete some pivitol task. Whatever it was, it reached it's limits near the confrontation.
I've long left the Undertale community, but this is a movie that I keep coming back to. I've watched it so many times that I don't feel what I felt the first time, I've become jaded over time, one could say, however, that initial feeling and the story itself is enough for me to keep coming back to this. Noob to Pro Gaming Sans only has 1 ATK and 1 DEF because his KR ability does all the work for him. Considering that KR stands for karma, it’s reasonable to assume that it wouldn’t activate when Sans is fighting against someone with a low LV. Therefore Sans has made himself a threat only against those who would be careless enough to go on an Underground-wise killing spree (such as the player during the genocide route). This would allow him to catch such people off-guard.
I am in utter shock right now. I remember watching this video back when it was released in 2016 when I was in middle school. Now I’m a senior in high school getting recommended the same video years later. I haven’t watched an undertale comic dub in ages.

Ok but, let me introduce myself. The child you are talking about has the power of a guard, they can back to life, they can save, load, etc, the flowey is the same thing, even being a flower he has a power of a god, so he could kill the people millions and millions times and nobody would notice. And the child did not kill every single monster in the underground, they killed 100 monsters, something like that. But in the underground has around of 10k of monster (because of the evacuateds, the people in the home, people in places where you cant go, the people in new house, and 10k because of Mettaton views.) But Chara could destroy the world, because them has the power too. And the "years trying to get rid of monsters" is not real, the humans attack and the war was like 4, 5 days, and this was not difficult, no one human was dead and several monster was transformed into dust, and then, monsterkind was trapped in the underground, just in a snap of fingers. If humans wanted, they could extinguish with the race of monsters, they are very strong.
I couldn't be the only one feeling guilty after Frisk and Chara were arguing about who started the genocide It was *us* the player. And I feel hella bad-

This comic is so amazingly profound, while I personally don’t believe in sans being able to remember resets, it takes that idea and goes with it so amazingly well, having sans just be the perfect amount of miserable and dull, even in a new situation, additionally it characterises everyone perfectly, especially in not having the ridiculous flanderised papyrus that’s “cute and innocent”, he actually is very down to earth but still a kind dude as he is in Undertale

I like to come back to the and re-watch it every once in awhile after a long period of time and everytime it gets to the Omega Sans reveal the chills I get from "he's right here..." at 8:58 right before the title gives me chills every time. That line along with "i've definitely been in better shape though." are just so iconic, especially with the visuals that accompany them. I've never really been into the Undertale fandom to heavily but this comic dub is just so iconic to me and is what sparked me to look into other dubs and read and keep up with Handplates past where the dub was dropped and got me to go down the Undertale fancomics rabbit hole and I don't regret any of it. TLDR: This is my favorite Undertale comic dub, that is all
Dusttale sans isn't necessarily bad, he's just VERY tired of seeing everyone he loves including himself die over and over and over and over and over to the point of him becoming insane. Plus, Papyrus still doesn't give up on him even when Sans kills him.
So, what I'm getting from this is... The start of the comic is after the events of the rest. What I mean by that is we start at the end, and then go through the events that led up to said moment. I didn't see it at first, but then it hit me. Really interesting to know that such a small detail anchors everything together in the story.
So i dont get it. Are they in a loop? Chara wants to continue with the loop or is it the player? Why they Just didnt make a copy of the World and manipulate the code so everyone could be happy? Or is it because if you manipulate the code the game breaks?

I remember watching this movie when it first came out and barely understanding what was happening because of my limited english vocabulary and undertale lore. So watching it again I can finally appreciate the BARS that so many characters are spitting- seriously, this dialogue is amazing. The VOICE ACTING is incredible. And I mean I've always been a fan of the artwork, hence me watching this without understanding anything. Just a really solid video that holds up to this day.

I love how much this puts into perspective how a player interacts with a living world. Frisk nor Chara choose genocide, the player did. And because of that, both thought it was the other's idea. Because the player doesnt exist in their world, its like a conscious that inhabits a body and leaves the moment it cant do anything. Gaster put it best, he first wanted to break the barrier, but after realizing their world wasnt real, he didnt care anymore.

One thing that I love about this comic is that if you look closely Frisk is actually communicating using sign language. That's extremely clever because Frisk is almost completely mute in the game thus they're communicating using a method that doesn't require them talking to do so. Its a very good detail that I love.

The way I see it, this comic, the fact that we get to see this comic and than choose weather or not to continue or reset, means we were still in control of Frisk. If we choose reset, we force them back into the loop, where if we choose continue, we're letting them go. Their copy is here, on the internet, in a place we can't see, and more importantly, where we can't control, which is why there is no part two. We gave up control so now they're off, continuing on without us. We freed them. At least that's my headcannon anyways.

Yeah it is sad, specially when you know that after all you did, something else is going to ruin that happy ending. I mean at firs I thought I hated Chara, but after watching many endings, and in every ending I've seen that she only wishes to be loved and to make people happy. But what she got was just hate and regrets... But the most painful person to watch here is Sans... He only wants to see people around him smile, to protect them. Even if that means lying and giving up his happyness.
It hurts whe you give up everything for the ones you love, and just can't be able to tell the truth, because they REALY would not understand, and it is painful that even that you han no option, you had to hurt that person...
Don't get me wrong, i am not saying that it is better to suffer in silence and to hide truth from everyone. It is just that, I rwalize that right now, not even God can change people, even if his own son got to us, we would change, but time always leaves its mark...
Sans probably thinks similar, he lost his hopes and dreams a long time ago, so he decided to end himself by sacrificing everithing for the ones he loved to see them happy, cause I don't think he didn't knew that once he absorbed the souls, he would never be able to extract them safely from himself.

I think that in this continuity, Gaster provided Sans with... something. Something that helped him survive or extend the deadline to complete some pivitol task. Whatever it was, it reached it's limits near the confrontation.

Considering that KR stands for karma, it’s reasonable to assume that it wouldn’t activate when Sans is fighting against someone with a low LV. Therefore Sans has made himself a threat only against those who would be careless enough to go on an Underground-wise killing spree (such as the player during the genocide route). This would allow him to catch such people off-guard.

The child you are talking about has the power of a guard, they can back to life, they can save, load, etc, the flowey is the same thing, even being a flower he has a power of a god, so he could kill the people millions and millions times and nobody would notice. And the child did not kill every single monster in the underground, they killed 100 monsters, something like that. But in the underground has around of 10k of monster (because of the evacuateds, the people in the home, people in places where you cant go, the people in new house, and 10k because of Mettaton views.) But Chara could destroy the world, because them has the power too. And the "years trying to get rid of monsters" is not real, the humans attack and the war was like 4, 5 days, and this was not difficult, no one human was dead and several monster was transformed into dust, and then, monsterkind was trapped in the underground, just in a snap of fingers. If humans wanted, they could extinguish with the race of monsters, they are very strong.

This comic is so amazingly profound, while I personally don’t believe in sans being able to remember resets, it takes that idea and goes with it so amazingly well, having sans just be the perfect amount of miserable and dull, even in a new situation, additionally it characterises everyone perfectly, especially in not having the ridiculous flanderised papyrus that’s “cute and innocent”, he actually is very down to earth but still a kind dude as he is in Undertale
He made the ultimate sacrifice so no one else would die, and everyone started hating him and still he suffered in silence. Truly a selfless skeleton.

I like to come back to the and re-watch it every once in awhile after a long period of time and everytime it gets to the Omega Sans reveal the chills I get from "he's right here..." at 8:58 right before the title gives me chills every time. That line along with "i've definitely been in better shape though." are just so iconic, especially with the visuals that accompany them.
I've never really been into the Undertale fandom to heavily but this comic dub is just so iconic to me and is what sparked me to look into other dubs and read and keep up with Handplates past where the dub was dropped and got me to go down the Undertale fancomics rabbit hole and I don't regret any of it.

So, what I'm getting from this is... The start of the comic is after the events of the rest. What I mean by that is we start at the end, and then go through the events that led up to said moment. I didn't see it at first, but then it hit me. Really interesting to know that such a small detail anchors everything together in the story.

I remember watching this movie when it first came out and barely understanding what was happening because of my limited english vocabulary and undertale lore. So watching it again I can finally appreciate the BARS that so many characters are spitting- seriously, this dialogue is amazing. The VOICE ACTING is incredible. And I mean I've always been a fan of the artwork, hence me watching this without understanding anything. Just a really solid video that holds up to this day.
