Exactly, I ain’t got the time to make a gourmet baked potatoe and that’s okay! 🙄
Eww brother
I@@zacanngow4221it's normal😭I rarely ever have baked potatoes done on the grill
We do this as only two of us. Put two or four in at a time though. They turn out perfect!
Im 64, I only cook Potatoes in the microwave. Than apply olive oil to the skin and finish on a hot barbecue until crispy. 3 or 4 at a time.
It’s dinner 2 or 3 times a week after our sunset surfing 🏄♂️ 🏄 🏄♀️ 🏄♀️🏄♀️🏄♀️me, my wife and our daughters all 4 of them 🤷🏼♂️
I love it!
Congrats mate.
Many thanks for this cooking method !
Thank you for sharing this video. It was very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you 🙏 I always want baked potatos but I'm to impatient 😅
Poke the ends for doneness too. My middle was fine but one end was hard
I do this but use a plastic bag. I put the potatoes in the bag tie it and steam it.
You put a plastic bag in the microwave?..
You can buy a potato bag/pouch that is made for being microwaved, js wash ur potato, put it in the bag (multiple can be done at once) for 4 mins at a time, and obviously more if you need it. They only cost abt 8 bucks
@Snowwvie
Sounds good !
So if I look on Amazon, should I just type in microwave potato bag ?
@@LizS119 yup! It should be the first thing that pops up. My family has had ours for yesrs
@@woolieee
Thanks !! I'll have to check it out.
Anyway to do with with no oven or microwave?
I guess boiling. Try to look it up on google
PLACE POTATOE IN A SMALL BROWN LUNCH BAG KEEPS MOISTURE IN COOKS EVENLY AND PRETTY FAST APROX 5MIN
I'll have to try that!
Great tip! Thanks 😊 Toxic comment section though 🤔
Nice spaceship microwave
Convection oven 350 for 30-40 minutes and you can cook 6 at a time if you'd like. 6 potatoes at 5 minutes each is 30 minutes and you have a inferior potato.
she did say its good for like 1-2 potatoes
air fry it 🙊
@@shadow_realm47 Convection is essentially air frying.
@@shadow_realm47 good idea ty
Nah I’ve cooked potatoes on the grill, oven, and in the microwave. It’s all the same bud, a cooked potato is a cooked potato, now what you do after it cooks is your own deal
No bc I was about to just throw it in but I was like nah let me look at a vid IT COULD HAVE EXPLODED?!
Bro me to im a terrible cook I always double check w a youtube video before hand 😂
Why use huge salt sprinkled form 12 inches over your food when over half of ot ends up not on the food?
Nope ziploc bag butter and seasoning just leave a small hole in zipper and you can do 6 at a time set it for 10 min real easy.
You put plastic baggies in the microwave??? 😳
Sure do and if you want to be careful put it in a bowl but honestly I have a steamer container I use these days and do the little fingerling potatoes.
@@jacobdewbre650 that's a much safer choice.
@@jacobdewbre650plastic doesn't melt?
@nilanjasa007 no the zip lock bags I used to buy for it got hot but never melted but I'm all about oven roasting and smoking stuff now.
I don't think that is a baked potato at that point. It's the quickest way to cook potatoes, maybe, but even then... sliced up and boiled. Still, it is a valid method of cooking it.
What about wesson vegetable oil for the potato
Olive or Avocado oil
Fastest way to cook potatoes: Microwave
Fastest way to cook rice: Microwave
Fastest way to cook spagheti: Microwave
Also the cheapest in electricity.
How do you do pasta in M/wave?
@@tsubadaikhan6332 I put pasta in water and cook in 3 min intervals, until I like the texture. I might add some extra water too as I check on it.
I put potatoe in the microwave
Can you stuff it with some good rice.. 2023.. What
Yum
How to gut a potato
Cooking potatoes in the microwave is not "baking". Its comparable to steaming the potato. Just note the difference in how the skin is after fully cooked in both methods. However, this is a viable, quick way to cook a potato.
Quick way after preparation of potato wrap in parchment paper microwave 4 - 5 minutes .
Uhh whats the easy way to get sick a d money from the insurance ☠️💀
yes Im salty my feelings are hurt
Thats cooked potato not baked
Cut the ends off too
The lazy way 😭
No no not the microwave 😮
Why, it's the best and cheapest way
@@Danny-qq5nrhow is it the best exactly?
Microwave = extreme radiation
it's not a baked potato if it's microwaved
Wow! You are beautiful ❤
This lady use the paintbrush for olive oil… just rub them with all the oil. Ridiculous.
Ew brother whats that
Eh too many free radicals I hate microwaves
Bro, Microwaves are so much better and convenient than the oven or air fryer.
@@davisdestroyer1883 do you even know what free radicals are ? Cancer is not convenient
Just put it in a plastic bag in the microwave for about 5-7 minutes...no need for prep work
Fork fi guh inna it deeper for optimum microwave penetration.
You wouldn't just put the tip in. You.fi ram it
nah shes buggin its called baked potato not microwave potato everyone wanna use the microwave nowadays
If you don't want to use a microwave, do you. But don't try to bash other people for way the way they choose to cook, especially for a teaching video for other people to learn from... I doubt you're cooking gourmet meals that take lots of effort and time every single day. 😊
Let's be honest, you're not nearly as productive every day as she is. You probably have Twitter and average 23 hours of screentime each day dedicating your time to bashing helpful people on the internet everyday.
@@log6994Ok goofball. You’re bashing him way more than he bashed her. Not to mention his comment was about the video. Yours was just a bunch of weird assumptions.
All I can see your beautiful hair hanging out over food personally for me it's a no, no ... ✌🏻
Maybe this lady hasn't done any research about using the microwave lol 😅 eesh...good luck with...your cells
You know litterally everything that requires electricity causes radiation...right? You get more radiation from living in your own home than you do from a microwave (as long as its not an old one with worn out seals). Your hair dryer doesnt have anything on it to protect you from the radiation, but your microwave does.
Huh?
One google search of “is there any link with eating microwaved food and your health” leads a to a Harvard article outlining the benefits of cooking your vegetables with microwaves over traditional methods. This is because traditional methods leech nutrients from the food and microwaves do not. 👍
