    We do this as only two of us. Put two or four in at a time though. They turn out perfect!

    Im 64, I only cook Potatoes in the microwave. Than apply olive oil to the skin and finish on a hot barbecue until crispy. 3 or 4 at a time.
    It’s dinner 2 or 3 times a week after our sunset surfing 🏄‍♂️ 🏄 🏄‍♀️ 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️me, my wife and our daughters all 4 of them 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Poke the ends for doneness too. My middle was fine but one end was hard

    I do this but use a plastic bag. I put the potatoes in the bag tie it and steam it.

      You can buy a potato bag/pouch that is made for being microwaved, js wash ur potato, put it in the bag (multiple can be done at once) for 4 mins at a time, and obviously more if you need it. They only cost abt 8 bucks

    Convection oven 350 for 30-40 minutes and you can cook 6 at a time if you'd like. 6 potatoes at 5 minutes each is 30 minutes and you have a inferior potato.

      Nah I’ve cooked potatoes on the grill, oven, and in the microwave. It’s all the same bud, a cooked potato is a cooked potato, now what you do after it cooks is your own deal

    Nope ziploc bag butter and seasoning just leave a small hole in zipper and you can do 6 at a time set it for 10 min real easy.

      Sure do and if you want to be careful put it in a bowl but honestly I have a steamer container I use these days and do the little fingerling potatoes.

    I don't think that is a baked potato at that point. It's the quickest way to cook potatoes, maybe, but even then... sliced up and boiled. Still, it is a valid method of cooking it.

    Cooking potatoes in the microwave is not "baking". Its comparable to steaming the potato. Just note the difference in how the skin is after fully cooked in both methods. However, this is a viable, quick way to cook a potato.

      If you don't want to use a microwave, do you. But don't try to bash other people for way the way they choose to cook, especially for a teaching video for other people to learn from... I doubt you're cooking gourmet meals that take lots of effort and time every single day. 😊

      You know litterally everything that requires electricity causes radiation...right? You get more radiation from living in your own home than you do from a microwave (as long as its not an old one with worn out seals). Your hair dryer doesnt have anything on it to protect you from the radiation, but your microwave does.

      One google search of “is there any link with eating microwaved food and your health” leads a to a Harvard article outlining the benefits of cooking your vegetables with microwaves over traditional methods. This is because traditional methods leech nutrients from the food and microwaves do not. 👍
