My idea for top 5 new 5 minutes books
Lava
I ❤️ Lava!!!!
@@liveicelive who doesn't? It's like pixar's 1st (and so far only) musical (something Pixar doesn't often do. And that's why i like it as well.
My favorites are “Boundin’,” “Mater and the Ghost Light,” “One Man Band,” “Knick Knack,” “Burn-E,” “Mike’s New Car,” “Red’s Dream,” “For the Birds,” “Lifted,” and who can forget the classic that started it all, “Luxo Jr.”?
Pixar shorts are best shorts! Pixar's definitely come a long way since the days of making these little masterpieces!
Ain't that the truth there dude! Pixar has always been a part of my Childhood! They always makes these Brilliant Masterpiece Shorts Throughout the Years!
But the baby it hunts my dreams
The Blue Umbrella is my favorite Pixar short of all time. The character design is so simple and cute, the rain and the city looks so beautiful, the story is very simple and sweet, it's super atmospheric, and the score is just lovely. The score is my favorite thing about it, it's just so good. I watch it every so often when I'm feeling down or when it's a rainy day because it's just so good. I love it so much.
Bao is literally my favorite short ever. Clever and gorgeous, it really showcases empty nest syndrome to a T. Tho the ending threw me off :/
Should’ve talked about the themes of overbearing parenting in Bao. It’s not a coincidence it’s the same director as Turning Red.
Yeah, there won't be a Turning Red without Bao opening up the possibilities for the studio to explore other cultures not limited to Europe as a main setting alone.
What? You just blew my mind
woah!!🤯🤯 that makes sense!
"Turning Red" never should've been made. It's content should be kept as a discussion between parents and their children ONLY.
Omg Bau TRAUMATIZED me
Bao’s ending was pretty deep
Made me almost forget that I was at the theater to watch Incredibles 2
Pretty sure it was Toy Story 4
@@LazyCCP nope it was incredibles 2
@@Handsome_Black Did Toy Story 4 have one?
Even if Incredibles 2 wasn't the Best Pixar Sequel, Bao made that trip to the theater worth every penny.
Lava was released back in 2014! How did i not know that? Hearing that makes me feel old.
I always laugh at the “Up” one when Carl and Russell were surrounded by animals in the jungle.
Carl: Have you got your “Running Away in Terror” badge?
Russell: No
Carl: Time to earn it! 🤣
“Day & Night” is definitely awesome though and worthy of the #1 spot.😊
My personal favorites are
Geri’s Game
For the Birds
Mike’s New Car
Top 20 Cartoon Network/Adult Swim Pilots that never got picked up for a series still miffed about Captain Sturdy
I honestly cannot handle watching kitbull anyway. I lose my shit every time. Just flat out sobbing.
I remember Geri’s Game when it shown at near the end of A Bug’s Life VHS then what Pixar did is so clever in Toy Story 2, when Al called toy repairer to fix Woody up the repairer is the old man from Geri’s Game.
You should’ve seen my dad. He was in happy shock that Geri made a cameo in the Toy Story 2
memories😌☺👌
I just wanted to pop in and say props to the host for properly pronouncing Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's name. Like, whoa. Great job!
I find it really damn impressive that the CGI in Luxo Jr. still holds up 35 years later!
Please make a top 20 best Hey Arnold Episodes.
To date, Lava is the only short that has made me cry. When it first started playing I rolled my eyes because I was excited for Inside Out. Little did I know that it was just the warm up my eyes were going to work through that day. Loved both Lava and Inside Out.
Yes! When the volcano sunk into the sea with his tears...😭
I love lava!! and my sister cried when we watched bao
I Absolutely Love and Adore Lava! It's Singing is so Incredible, Beautiful, Breathtaking and Spectacular to listen!
Lava will always make me cry no matter how many times I watch it the song is just so beautiful. Did tin toy scare anyone else when they saw it?. Partly cloudy will always make me cry
Boundin'
One Man Band
Luxo Jr
For the Birds
Knick Knack
Jack Attack
Geri's Game
Red's Dream
Day and Night
My favorites
I'll always Love, Cherish and Appreciate Knick Knack as My Most Favorite Pixar Shorts of All Time! I'll never forget that short since Finding Nemo came out into Theaters! It's Inspired by Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry!
198: Presto is my favorite and my dad loves Partly Cloudy
I think Lava is another yet volcano version of Moana
I like inner workings.
Bao and lava are the best!!! I grew up on them!!!
Lava for #1, followed by Piper, For The Birds, Burn-E, Paperman, and Day & Night.
To this day, Geri's Game is still my favorite. I also like Loop for having an autistic character. I feel we need more of those. I also like Hawaiian Vacation and Partysaurus Rex.
I love Loop and Float, also I just watched Out which was gorgeous
oh yes!
@@JennieSh1986 out is amazing
I remember Knick Knack being my first animated short i watched when Finding Nemo came out all the way back in 2003, and now I can add Piper with Finding Dory 13 years after Nemo's release in 2016 they will always stick out as childhood favorites
I REALLY love Knick Knack too! It's always been My Most Favorite Pixar Shorts since Childhood Years! It's Super Hilarious and Funny to watch!
Lifted is my favorite Pixar short, and I am so happy that it’s on this list.
The number one pick from Pixar is mostly a hand drawn short. Can you taste the irony?
Pixar shorts make me so happy
Perfect top 2

(besides playing clips of tourist spots, random objects, & what the TV can offer)
also personally I saw "Lava" in the movies
I've watched many of these shorts, but the first Pixar short i got to see un theatres was "Presto" , but anyways, Nice video Ms mojo, and happy tuesday as well, see You soon and God bless you
Interesting to note that the voice actors of the two volcanoes in the short Lava knew each other since they were little. They had no idea they would reunite as adults because they were auditioning separately for this short without knowing of it.
I like all the Pixar Shorts in Pixar movies on the DVDs from Pixar short film collections Volume 1 or Volume 2 or Volume 3 like Boundin and Tin Toy and Jack Jack Attack and Knick Knack and One Man Band and Sanjay's Super Team and Burn-e and Partly Cloudy and Lou and The Blue Umbrella and La Luna and Lifted and BAO and For the Birds and Lava and Presto and Luxo Jr and Piper and Geri's Game and Red's Dream and Lamp Life and Day & Night
I remember some of these back in my childhood and nick nack is the one I remember most
Too many favorites to list one.
200: Jack-Jack is a cute baby so, I love the short films Jack-Jack Attack and Auntie Edna
3 out of 25. There’s only 21 Pixar Movies that has short films except for Toy Story 2, Cars 2, and Toy Story 4
I loved Lava. It was so beautiful, and I hoped to share it with my girlfriend. I never got the chance 😢
It's OK dude. *I hug you for comfort* I'm sure you'll get your chance with her soon. Don't be sad
While there wouldn’t be a Toy Story without Tin Toy, there wouldn’t be a Luca without La Luna.
Though recently no Turning Red without Bao!
La Luna was out WAY before Luca.
@@jordanwilliams676 That’s what I said. “There wouldn’t be a Luca without La Luna.”
@@twist58 Huh?🤨La Luna was released with Brave. Luca only came out last year. What are you trying to prove? Both La Luna and Luca were 💩anyway in my opinion 🤷🏼♂️
@@jordanwilliams676 Let me put in this way then:
Director Enrico Casarosa directed both that short and full-length film. Luca wouldn’t exist today without its early roots La Luna.
@@twist58 Oh. Well like I said, I personally thought both were 💩.
132: I’m going to be honest here, some of these Pixar shorts creeped me out. Giving me nightmares.
130: 20 -I like it
19 -I got to be honest, that creeped me out
18 -That one is fun
17 -I love Finding Nemo but this is another short that creeped me out

13 -My dad loves this and so do I

3 -I think it’s cute
2 -My dad loves this one
1 -I also like this
The incredibles shorts I love
199: I don’t think I can watch Tin Toy again. Doesn’t hurt being honest
131: Funny how you say Day & Night. Do we need Ella Fitzgerald to sing her song?
For the Birds will always be one of my favorites. I remember watching Monsters Inc. in the theater when this short played. Very cute and funny. :D
Same❤
I like Number 19, Number 18, Number 17, Number 16, Number 15, Number 14, Number 13, Number 12, Number 11, Number 10, Number 9, Number 8, Number 7, Number 6, Number 5, Number 4, Number 2 and Number 1.
I saw Red's Dream at an animation festival when it was new & it blew me away. I've been a fan ever since
That must have been quite an experience back in the day. I find that short underrated among Pixar's catalog, and honestly, I've felt it should have been released on the big screen with a Pixar film that didn't have a new short included with it.
Lava and Paperman are the best!
I remember when Disney XD (or maybe it was called something else at the time idk) would only show these shorts one Thanksgiving. That was neat.
kick nack and free birds has to be my favourite ones
My favourite is lava and it always will be😁
All Pixar shorts are my favorite
For the birds is always my favorite, and I use the gif of the bigger bird saying hi all the time. But my next favorites are Bao, Piper, and the funniest (in my opinion) Presto.
Jack Jack Attacks should be higher!
Matter & The Ghost Light should’ve been a honorable mention. Like One Man Band, it also has a mid credits but in creepy fashion
197: I love Pixar shorts!
Some of these Pixar shorts I didn’t see, but some of them I’ve watched I love them so much!
❤
Overthinking is what kills you.
What about Top 20 Blue Sky Studios Shorts of All Time?
My favorite Pixar short wasn't released in theaters, but it was streamed on Disney+. Luca's sequal: Ciao Alberto
I feel like i still memorized Lava.
ALMA!! Unsetteling, scary, sadning and brilliant!! 😳😢
Pixar has always been one of My Most Favorite Family Entertainment Companies with Disney since Childhood Years! I Absolutely Love and Adore all of their Brilliant Masterpiece Shorts Throughout the Years!
I like Red's Dream and Lamp Life.
My idea for top 10 new short video what next
Thanks for the fun facts.
The Alberto short will always make me cry
The relationship between Massimo & Alberto is adorable.
Man, if Jack Jack Attack is on this, then why not Mater and the Ghostlight?

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm "meh" on "Lava". I've never been fond of Hawaiian music & the "I Lava You" pun is corny. I'm usually a classic movie crier but this one did nothing for me. I totally support "Day & Night" for #1, but I would move "Piper", "Bao" and "Presto" up.
ssss
What happened to And Just Like That?
Remember God loves you♥️!!
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Please repent of your sins and turn to the Lord🙏.
He is coming back soon🤗.....
I really love these shorts, they usually make me cry even more than the actual movie they're shown before. My favourite would definitely be "Bao" since the parent/child relationship really reasonates with me.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one & only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. (John 3:16-17)✝️
I've watched Lava multiple times
Pixar made some Luxo Jr shorts for Sesame Street that were educational and focused on concepts like in and out and front and back
Go watch a short called borrowed time if you really want dramatic excellence. It was even directed by pixar people. But it's not an official Pixar short so it wasn't eligible for this list or it probably would've been number 1
i love shorts
Why must nostalgia keep falling on me like a ton of brick?
Happens to me all the time
What am I? Marv, the guy that always gets hit in the head with bricks?
Special Thanks to Bud Luckey, John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Andrew Jimenez, Mark Andrews, Sanjay Patel, Angus MacLane, Peter Sohn, Dave Mullins, Saschka Unseld, Enrico Casarosa, Gary Rydstrom, Domee Shi, Ralph Eggleston, James Ford Murphy, Doug Sweetland, Alan Barillaro, Jan Pinkava, and Teddy Newton for directing these shorts and being the best animation studio in the whole wide world.
Come on why everyone dislike the Baby from Pixar Oscar-Winning animated short "Tin Toy"? Maybe they judge the early computer animation till Pixar has got better with the animation times gone by.
Well my favorite short is definitely Tin Toy, because without it we could not have Toy Story.
