I have a feeling that Sully wished that he would want to have kids and become a dad someday 😢, knowing him he wants to make choices in life, as he took care and protected Boo from other monsters going after her I could see him become a father and have a great family someday 🙂
In “Onward,” Ian admitting to Barley that he was both older brother AND father at the same time ALWAYS makes me bawl like a baby! Heck, even just seeing it in this video made me tear up
I agree, that moment never fails to make me bawl like a baby! Also, I love how Ian gave up his opportunity to meet his dad by giving it to Barley, since he had more memories of him.
I love how Massimo having a missing arm wasn't really commented on, it's just the way he was born. Plus, it's so sweet that he officially adopts Alberto in the follow up short! 💕😍
Marlin is definitely the best A fish literally traveling the entire ocean/world to find his son. It’d be like finding a needle in a haystack, but Marlin’s love for his son overpowers that impossibility
I love that every Pixar dads, (even if someone has a sad backstory) always have a beautiful happy ending 💜 Thank you Pixar for giving us the best fathers in the world 💜
You forgot to mention Doc Hudson, while not Lightning's biological dad he does take on the dad role in Cars 3 when Lightning has flashbacks of Doc and how Doc wrote letters to Smokey about how proud he was about Lightning.
Top 3 (In my opinion): 1. Marlin 2. Bob Parr 3. Hector Rivera Marlin and Bob are the most common and iconic dads in Pixar that you would see working very hard for their children, for Hector we just see how much of a dad from his past!
in the short even if Alberto felt like Massimo didn’t want him around he still cared for him since he attempted to stop Alberto from leaving and it was sweet and shocking when Alberto called him dad
Hector is a good father. He deeply cares for his family and was more than happy to care for a Child that stumbled into the Land of the Dead, even if they don’t know they are related, and loves playing magic and having fun with everyone.
I LOVE that Héctor Rivera made #4. Even though he wasn't a father to Coco for very long, he also showed great father material to Miguel. As for the 'fish' puns for Marlin, I think you may have gone a little 'overboard' LOL 😄
Richard The Imaginator I think he works as both a big brother figure and a father figure. Their bond was, in my opinion, one of the best parts of that movie.
If Flik actually married Princess Atta then that would really mean & make both Flik & Dot Brother & Sister in Law & also would make both Princess Atta & Dot’s Mom Flik’s Mother in Law to make a lot of sense when you even think about it
I lost my dad when I was a kid over 20 years ago, and there is a reason why Onward is one of my favorite Pixar films. So many messages of the film related to me, and the relationship between Ian and Barley was so wholesome. 🥰❤❤❤
@@fanofeverything30465 I was really young when it happened but all I remember is I got home from school and he was taken away by doctors. I believe he had heart disease
I'm about to cry! this was a very interesting video, ms mojo, and very informative as well. happy sunday and i hope i see you soon for more. take care.
Marlin honestly at first can come off as very bossy and too strict but when you realize what he went through, you can totally understand why he can be so hard on Nemo. It's the only child he has left so he wants to protect it at all costs
King Fergus is my favourite Pixar dad. He gets Merida, gives her a bow and he's funny and encouraging 😁❤️ Also I'm pretty sure Riley's father is called Greg. Riley's mom calls him that in the first Inside Out.
My favorite Pixar dad is Marlin from Finding Nemo he went on a resume mission to save his son which is adorable. Even though he is overprotective of Nemo but he never stop looking for him in the movie.
I know that WALL-E from WALL.E is not a dad, but judging by his personality he would be so great at parenting. If WALL.E ever gets a sequel, it should be about WALL-E and EVE having a kid of their own and trying their best to take care of them. Anyway that’s just my opinion. What’s yours?
Queen Elinor wants her daughter as the perfect princess and Stoick the Vast wants his son as a dragon killer But nobody’s perfect, you just love them as the way they are
Even tho I’d say Carl’s more of a grandfather, the way he learns to care for Russell, Kevin, and Dug is really beautiful and shows how much he’s learned to move away from his past. Just like Ellie wanted! 👍
My dad always was there to support me and teach me not to be afraid of what is in the world unfortunately my dad died 7 years ago and this day makes me miss him so much.
Weeeellllll....Since Marlin is #1, and deservedly so! Can we agree that Crush should be #1-a? After all he did teach Marlin to let the little Squirt go solo! IMHO
Massimo is such a sweet dad 😊 I really loved how even when it was revealed to him that Luca and Alberto are sea monsters he still cared about them. Alberto calling him Dad REALLY warmed my heart and I hope Massimo adopts him at some point
I loved King Fergus's characterization in "Once Upon a Time," how he not only allowed his daughter to go to war, but hired her a FEMALE tutor (Mulan). And gosh, that episode where (SPOILER ALERT) Merida brought her father back to life for a few moments and he said how proud of her he was, I just cried (didn't help that was also the year I lost my grandpa). Season 5 may not have been the best of the show, but damn, did they do the characters of "Brave" justice.
Blood doesn't make a dad. I never knew my bio-dad but my step-dad adopted me when I was a year old and he married my mum. We're best buds and I wouldn't change it for anything
The scene of Luca in the beginning of the video and the scene where Alberto calls Julia’s father dad, were they deleted? because I watched Luca and I don’t remember seeing them
Mmmmm I feel like Héctor should’ve been a bit higher. Nearly *100 years* of fighting tooth and nail, sacrificing everything despite your deteriorating condition to get back to your child despite never knowing if they even WANT you anymore is love beyond life. Not to mention the fact that he died when Coco was like 2 or 3, yet she never ever forgot him even well into her 90s. That speaks volumes to the father he was.
Happy Father's Day to all of the incredible fathers and father figures out there! Who's YOUR favorite Pixar dad? Let us know in the comments!
Jin Lee
My favorite Pixar dad is Sully. He is just so great with Boo. It’s so adorable.
Carl Fredricksen
My favorite dads of Pixar are Jin, Sully, Mr. Incredible & Charlie ( Dory’s dad)
Did anyone notice the Ellie badge Easter egg in TS 4?
Love that Sulley was included here. Even though he is not Boo’s biological father, he is everything a girl dad should be!
Fun fact the voice actor of Sulley (John Goodman) birthday is June 20 which is tomorrow :D
Considering her biological father is now gone
I have a feeling that Sully wished that he would want to have kids and become a dad someday 😢, knowing him he wants to make choices in life, as he took care and protected Boo from other monsters going after her I could see him become a father and have a great family someday 🙂

Yeah, I cried a lot at that part.
4:27- Jin Lee's dance- my favorite part! 😆
Mine too! ❤💖😍
yaa this was hilarious. He was such a character in the movie haha
Sully, Carl, Hector, Charlie (Dory’s dad) and Marlin are the best dads ever. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads.
And Massimo 😊
Sulley was actually based on Pete Docter's experience on becoming a father when Monsters, Inc. was in production.
He should be higher

Marlin is definitely the best

You forgot to mention Doc Hudson, while not Lightning's biological dad he does take on the dad role in Cars 3 when Lightning has flashbacks of Doc and how Doc wrote letters to Smokey about how proud he was about Lightning.
Plus he basically was a caretaker figure to the entire town of Radiator Springs while he was at it. I'd definitely give him A+ dad vibes as well
IK!
oh yeaaaa
Coco was just heartbreaking and I bawled my eyes out. ESPECIALLY when they sung remember me
I cried too. I’ll never forgive Ernesto for all he did to hector and his family
Top 3 (In my opinion):

Same! ❤💖😍
Onward makes for the PERFECT Father’s Day movie for all the fathers and father figures IMO
I love how some characters here are not biologicaly fathers but fathers at heart.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads of the Pixar universe.
Yes! ❤💖😍👨
I could see Sully as a dad. He is caring and does love Boo. This is one of my dad’s favorite pixar movies
These videos on Disney warm my heart & fill my tear glands.
Hector is a good father. He deeply cares for his family and was more than happy to care for a Child that stumbled into the Land of the Dead, even if they don’t know they are related, and loves playing magic and having fun with everyone.

I always like how Flik is almost like Dot's father's figure when ever I watch "A Bug's Life".
I always thought of Flik as more of an older brother type
Richard The Imaginator I think he works as both a big brother figure and a father figure. Their bond was, in my opinion, one of the best parts of that movie.
Either way, Flik was amazing!
If Flik actually married Princess Atta then that would really mean & make both Flik & Dot Brother & Sister in Law & also would make both Princess Atta & Dot’s Mom Flik’s Mother in Law to make a lot of sense when you even think about it
“It’s OK, Daddy’s HERE. Daddy’s Got You. I Promise I Will NEVER Let Anything Happen To You…, NEMO.”
- Marlin, (Albert Brooks), 2003-2016
Fathers don’t get the Freddy and credit they deserve. They go just as far and beyond as mothers do. Happy Father’s Day all fathers out there!
I mean, in different ways
Woody acted like a dad toward Forky in TS4.
My dad passed away when I was 16 it was the hardest and still is time of my life, onward always makes me bawl like a baby 😭

Marlin and Nemo 🥰 for loving his son with a disability or ability…. Just brings my soul to earth

Marlin honestly at first can come off as very bossy and too strict but when you realize what he went through, you can totally understand why he can be so hard on Nemo. It's the only child he has left so he wants to protect it at all costs
I love the honorable mentions of Pixar dads.
Marlin didn’t do it alone, he did have help with the funny Dory throughout the movie
You missed one! Zurg.
Buzz Lightyear (Utility belt): You killed my father!
Zurg: No. I am your father.
Buzz Lightyear (Utility belt): NOOOOOOOO!!!

Woody should have been on the list for his fatherly nature of being there for Andy.
Yes he would have I totally agree
Robert “Bob” Parr AKA Mr. Incredible from ‘The Incredibles’ franchise.
i am happy that bob Parr aka Mr. incredible is a part of this
Turning Red’s dad Jin is not as outspoken as his wife Ming, yet he knows what is right. That’s a dad that actually knows what’s what.
I loved King Fergus's characterization in "Once Upon a Time," how he not only allowed his daughter to go to war, but hired her a FEMALE tutor (Mulan).
