- The short film “HOPE” is about the journey of a new born baby sea turtle named Aqua. During his journey, he faces many obstacles from human pollution to different predators. Using his mind and courage he over comes one obstacle after the other, until he reaches his final destination. Just before he enters the sea, he witnesses a life changing scene, that he bravely over comes and grows as a character.

That's the one thing my dad has taught all his 9 children, always take rubbish bags with us wherever we go and we always find ourselves not just picking up our rubbish, but also rubbish we see and find. Children at school use to call me name's like scab or trash picking up trash, but after watching this video, l am so happy that my dad taught his 9 children to do this.

This tiny baby turtle 🐢 is telling us something. In the form of a story:
'I was born on land. The first step I ever took., was the first choice I ever made. The first breath I ever took., the first crawl I ever made., the first wave I ever did., that first sight I ever had., was the first path I ever chose. But then I deviated from my path. I was mesmerised by the beauty of the flames. I tried to taste it thinking it to be something great., but instead burnt my cute little tongue. Then I went for chips, thinking it to be something great, but I again failed. I was thrown high in the sky, neither was I nervous, nor did I cry. The higher I was thrown, the more splendid the sight. Then into the darkness I landed. But at the end of all of this, I moved forward, tracing my path, where destiny lay on the horizon, where the moon shone bright, a more peaceful sight, so I could see the RAY OF HOPE.'
Takeaway message: We all can get deviated from our goals, our path, our dreams. Deviations can be an attraction to something or someone. Sometimes, we even land up in situations where we lose ourselves. But what will keep us going? HOPE

Incredible! My nephew is 1.4 years old and he is a great fan of this turtle and the movie Hope. His favourite part is the "aaachoo" scene, he giggles every time he sees it.
He also loves the moon and the moon lit sky.
The ending is very tragic. The saying is true, we humans don't deserve this planet.

Being alive is truly a very magical and wonderful gift. Each creature deserves - has the right to live life free of toxins, pollution and total disregard for their environment. While life is beautiful it is a difficult journey - little Hopes chances for survival are slim even with best of chances on her side. And humans continue to make our fellow creatures who live on this little blue marble 🌎 all the more difficult. Each living being feels, mourns, delights and loves.
What about the babies who are killed due to Abortion? They are still humans and deserve to live.

Children are not experiments, and parents should be at their absolute best and willingly want a child when they end up pregnant with a child. Now, I do believe if you do not want to practice safe sex, then a vescectomy for either girl or guy is a suitable option; however, if
the parents were cowardly enough to neglect it, and "mistakenly" have a child, that child is very likely better of not existing anymore, than being born into the world we live in. Parents who are not mature enough to keep and raise a child result into children with mental/emotion issues that become adults that have mental/emotional issues , which feeds the cycle of genes that have mental /emotion issues, because the parents figured out a way to do it, even if the kid emotionally and cognitively deficient, just because their parents did so. No human should be born into this world struggling from the beginning, nor should they endure their parents' struggles while both parents figure themselves out. Again, children are not experiments. Asking parents who were negligent to keep and raise their children is literally breeding more of the problem. I was born autistic and with severe stomach and immune issues that essentially would have killed me without medical intervention; while I was given treatment, I honestly would have preferred to never been been born, and I refuse to have children due to my defective genes and hustory of mental illness from both sides of the family. Yes, you can agrue to let the children decide their view on life; the unfortunately reality is, that children borm in unfortunate circumstances deal with more misfortunes than others, and it is the parents' responsibility to prevent misfortune onto their others.

The trash on the beach is the smallest part. It’s the stuff you throw away everyday that often that winds up in the ocean. Not to mention people on boats. Everyone needs to be responsible to be good stewards

I remember going to New Smyrna Beach with a friend. Learning about Turtle nests, turtles and the oceans . It was such a wonderful beautiful experience that should be enjoyed by all. There is hope.

It’s easy to believe. So I believe that the second turtle is still alive and was just asleep or knocked out. It gives you less grief and misery. Otherwise I’d cry . To stop this we should not throw waste anywhere except dustbins .I don’t throw waste on beaches and it comforts me. But not everyone else does this. My greatest wish is that everyone follows this and I mean everyone in the world. If you stop throwing trash in beaches you’ll be comforted and this will never happen . I hope you share this message to others

This is wonderful, delightful. poignant and sad all at the same time. Great work and greatly educational. Every time one of us drops garbage on the ground it can end up in in the ocean or somewhere else where it damages wild life. I would show this in every single classroom on earth. I especially liked the stats on the credits pages.

People who toss water bottles away. You don't need municipalities to sh!t the oceans up People on party boats and cruise ships are doing plenty. Along with container ships who lose loads.

This inspired me to help all creatures, not just nature but people as well… I watch the video without the audio about a week or days ago and saddened me, but yesterday I watched it with the audio and went through my heart that made me cry and realized that we did nothing but continued to pollute our lives home; trees give us oxygen and no one thought of planting double seeds from any type of plant, recycle any plastic into something new, and so much more that destroys the environment. People even have more danger than we imagine, which makes us feel guilty about ourselves. I’m not saying animals matter, people matter, or one species home environment including ours is more important, if not ALL Lives matter from big to small and different shapes….. although we might not do anything find something or skills we could use to help others and share it with your friends, family or the social media…….. yesterday I recorded of myself explaining why I cried in this video and the reason it has so much meaning we cannot describe and I will upload it when I’m finished editing… so remember to take care of everything in your way even your home. Please help OUR home planet and save ALL lives from bottom to top 🥺🙏❤️🩹

Wonderfull! I cried at the end. I'm a 68 yr old former bio and chem teacher now retired and living in the Philippines. OK, call me a tree hugger or whatever, but we are systematically dismantling the biosphere. That's our life support system folks and we really don't understand it. If the world doesn't begin to reduce our military budgets and subsidies for big oil and transfer funding to ecosystem restoration, we will probably see the end of our global civilization within two generations, and possibly the extinction of our species by the end of the century. We don't have much time left. Perhaps now we understand Fermi's Paradox.
