Hi a quick question my skyQ mini box is like it is frozen it comes on wait a minute then it says it will blank then press the home button then nothing or goes to 4 questions but you press the button to answer but it is like it is frozen just nothing happens
3:05 I had SKY Q installed a week ago and I had the SKY Q box connected to my router directly via cat 6 cable , but the apps absolutely refused to show while the box was wired directly to the router. I had to disconnect the ethernet cable and connect via WiFi to get the apps to show and I followed the three known methods to get the apps to show. I had the box for three days and a dozen different app reset , put the box in standby and completely power off for 1 minute. It never worked on ethernet and I'm with virgin media Ireland. They're upgrading me to a 2TB UHD box today so I hope I don't have the same problem with the new box.
I’ve just changed to Sky fibre from regular Sky broadband and a Sky Q box and mine won’t connect, just want to go back to regular because everything’s turned to crap
Still get the message, even when connected to a network switch. 🤷♂️ Has worked for months and then just recently I keep getting this annoying message! Vodafone router. TP Link power line adapter.
Your need to get a hold of Sky+hd box if it’s a single socket or it’s not a wideband lnb or hybrid your viewing card will work the Sky+hd just active the viewing card through the internet before you go. Or you can do it one sky website on your phone.
What do you do if your main sky q box is working as is the internet but the main box is saying it’s not connected and the mini boxes are not resetting at all. It just keeps bringing up internet error.our internet is working perfectly
Well I use a cable connect to all the boxes as Sky q box have problems working with other providers. Is your internet through sky or like me bt or virgin
@davidmarfe I have virgin broadband and play my sky hd + via my denon avrx2000 to tv so I can hear through sound system. Running for years. Suddenly sky hd + no longer has access to internet and I’ve lost on demand and catchup. Any ides?
Everyday I get that” no network” message. So are you saying the answer is either get an ethernet cable or join SKY Broadband? That’s very unfair of SKY.
i've seen loads of people moan about this i've had Q and 4 mini boxes for over 10 months and they are all wired via a ubiquiti switch and have never failed or disconnected or any errors
Rubbish... Dont just presume that its because its a different brand router or broadband provider... Our broadband is sky and our router is Sky but Q box still comes up with the problem..... Plus as well you need to stop waffling on in your videos
This has been happening to me alot over the last few weeks, it started off that all I needed to do was to back out of the menu then go back into it for it to work as normal. Then even that stopped working so I placed a new ethernet cable fròm box to router that worked for a while and then stopped working. I have allso done a network set up which worked for a while but stopped working. Now it doesn't seem to be working no matter what I try even network setup can't find anything or let me confirmed. I have been on sky tv over 15 years and virgin for the broadband for 5 years and things have been fine until now.
@@DavidMarfe yea tried that and it worked for a while but now even after trying everything I know of to do nothing seems to solve it. Think I'll phone sky.
@@elonmust8859 you might need a box replacement or try changing the WiFi channel on the Virgin media router. To find the best channel download an app that will show you what is the least used channel in your area. That might work. I have virgin media and the auto channel thing in their router doesn't work. I had to adjust it myself to get WiFi working right here.
Just a quick bit of advice. Work out what you are going to say before recording the video. I would write it down and read. Personally I think my voice does not sound good, so I found an AI system (Natural Reader) which you upload text to and it creates a very very good AI voice over. Keep it brief and clear. Whilst this was informative, there was far too much waffle and I got bored before half way.

I'm with sky broadband and mine doesn't work, and the sky q box is at the other side of the room to my router,so can't use an ethernet cable.
Save 6 minute of your time and just plug a network cable in, is the moral of this story.

Iv'e got sky Q with a sky Q router and it still dose this. It was only an issue when I installed the new sky max hub recently. Was fine until then.

I want to take my sky a box to my holiday home that has no internet ! It has a sky socket for dish only

I have sky broadband and it shows this screen ALL the time. Makes no difference if it’s 3rd party or not.

I haven’t had that problem yet but if I do I might be able to solve it have you tried turning off your router on and off ?
