The tufts and things look super nice. I wound up using those black metal clamps / clips to hold parchment to a ferrous sheet pan. Then the ground wire alligator clip to the edge. Long grass kept lying down on me until I energized it or whatever.
@@MyFingerLakesRailwayLayout I use the Woodland scenics one with AC power. Maybe my place is not very static friendly on it's own, but I just find I need it with grass longer than maybe 4mm. Otherwise too many are sideways in the end.
I also used dryer lint for grass pods. I painted it with spray paint and applied grown foam over it.
Wow that's creative, I never would have thought of that one.
That sure does look real!
Thanks man!
Nicely done, took notes!
Appreciate it!
Great video Bill…gonna be trying this in the future…saved the video
Thanks Anthony. You'll end up with some pretty nice scenery.
Great technique and definitely way cheaper than buying a sheet of them. And your suff always looks good..
Thanks Pappy. These are pretty economical. And they're all a little different.

Thanks! Have fun with it!
Great tutorial! I hope ours turn out half as good as yours.
You'll be surprised how easy it is. Have fun!

Yup, some applicators may have more or less power. Were you plugged in, or on battery?
