    Why the K&N filter?

@ good question for better air flow and it’s reusable design which will save money in the long run. Plus I only paid $13 at advance auto for it too

@@wonderoffroad just be careful if you're going on dusty roads. The increased air flow means less filtration. I did 100 miles of a dirty/dusty road on brand new oil with KN filter and my oil was very dark and I could feel dirt particles in the oil with my fingers. Did an immediate oil change and installed a snorkel after throwing away the filter. Also, my MAF was caked in dirt and needed full cleaning.
KN filters are good for clean air on roads/highways but awful off road
