Yes, rosemary oil actually kills Malassezia. Just don't use too much in one go so your face isn't oily. However, I've found it doesn't work as well as tea tree oil or an antifungal cream like clotrimazole. hope this helps :)

Can you use Tea tree oil if one has SebDerm with oily scalp ?
Yes, but instead of mixing tea tree oil in a carrier oil, mix it in your shampoo instead.
