👍🏻 Fyi the wheels seize because of electrolytic corrosion; Ali & steel don’t like each other! Clean up the mating faces and apply a little copper grease/anti seize compound. 👌🏻
The inner pad was fitted incorrectly. the pad must be slipped onto the piston first using the clips you see on there. With the way you have fitted it, the piston is now pushing on the clips rather than the flat surface of the pad. otherwise great content!
George Galpin for sure! The surface rust doesn’t look very appealing. Plenty of life left in them but I’ve ordered Nitrac discs for the rear too, although they’re on a 20 day back order at the moment
Don’t forget to bed in 👍 as you are made of money you can get yourself some jack stands then you won’t have to worry about the jack.. or you fix it to a square of ply or something to help stabilise it if you have clearance. extendable ratchets can make your life easier when you need to get them suspension & brake bolts off.. you look like a strong girl anyway. Clean up your rotors and anti seize will stop wheels sticking.. same with rotors on the hub.. but you’ve done it now..
Nice job. You make it look so easy to do. Great video!!!!
Hi Cleo, brilliant little tutorial. 👍🏼Would you recommend the DS2500’s for fast road use or are they better suited to the track? Thanks.
Had ds2500 on my euro R, great pads but very dusty
Lovely stuff xxx

Cleo.. Make sure you get yourself a Halfords trade card.. very good value if you find yourself needing to buy tools there...
wakko0hakko that’s not a bad idea! I’ll look into it as I’m always needing something

Those discs don’t look none to clever either?
