You both inspire me so much!! I love your friendship with Luisa. How sad that some ladies aren't watching her because she loves Tim Holtz products & is on his team now. How can artists & crafters not get they can substitute other items? You both give us so much of your time, energy, and creative ideas.
Love all you do Barbara and I thank you for being an amazing artist who shares your time, talent, and tutorials with us!!
Exactly 🤷♀️ The only thing that doesn’t have a direct substitute are the Distress Oxides, but even that can be worked around.
@allisonjames2923 exactly. As for me, I am very very slowly adding to my stash of oxide ink pads. I noticed one of my browns is getting low (and is barely reviving with water spritz now), so I gotta get the refiller now, but that in itself opens up possibilities later.
But I still use my cheaper dye inks. I just don't have the budget to get all the cool new fancy colors as they emerge in every product it comes in. Maybe eventually, I'll purchase some of my favs in ink form, too... like peacock feathers and raspberry preserves (sooo gorgeous!). But, that'll be a long time, too many distress inks i still want! 😂
I'm really glad that you warned me about the title of this video before it went online, otherwise I would have needed a doctor lol. This is just AMAZING!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!
You are my little junk journal sister! ❤️
U ladies are my favs!!!! ❤️❤️
Your title scared me to death! I was like oh no😮😮 I should have known lol beautiful as always ❤
"...because all she does is inspire me every single time and all I want to do is copy her rather than do my own thing." Yep, that's what you do to me (and probably lots more of your viewers). Thank you for inspiring us! ~Velvet
Me too. 😂
Two lovely lady’s do what they love doing. You both inspire me to give it a go. ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve found that my dry off paper towels can come out very interesting and make great collage fodder for future projects.
Scared me when I saw title "Why I don't watch Luise . . . " Afraid you all had a fight. ha ha - You created a beautiful piece and I can't wait to try some of the techniques. You inspire me - hard to have enough time to watch all videos. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, Barbara!! You scared me there for a second. So glad it wasn’t what I thought. What a special friendship you two have, and you both give us so much inspiration!!
Love to you both!! ❤️😘🤗💕😍
Thank you so much! ❤️
Way to reel us in with that title! 🤣Love how your project turned out! ❤
Lovely!
Lol I get and I understand completely. Love that you two are such good friends and can share ideas with each other and with all of us out here.
So much creative fun.
I love how this turned out!!!
Dein Titel hat mich erst echt erschreckt, aber dann hat sich doch alles zum Guten gewandelt 😊 Sieht richtig toll aus und muss ausprobiert werden 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Beautifully done & decorated!! 🧡💙💛 You & Luise are both amazingly inspiring!! 😘😘
What! Oh thank goodness, I was hoping you weren’t serious! She does have a way of inspiring people! Glad you gave it a try! Love how the picture turned out! Really cool! What a great page! I love that you use family photos 💕 TFS!
Oh My Gosh! I can't keep up with the idea's I get from you and Luise!!! But ... I'm totally loving it!!! Thank you!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can totally relate Barbara, both Luise and yourself inspire me so much and I find myself trying to emulate what you do! Not to worry, I always end up with different results, the good thing is I always end up with another technique in my arsenal! Love your masterboard, watching the blind cutting and the resulting pocket! Thanks for another inspiring video!💕🇨🇦
I agree with you--Luisa is an enabler! Ah, but a glorious one!!!!! Who knew this would work??? The end results are quite wonderful and it reminds me I have some old photos of my Dad and his brother. Thank you!
😂❤ I knew this was some kind of trick! 😉 Luise’s techniques and creativity is just fabulous and I love your works of art! ❤
Barbara, fun title! Fun video! You both inspire all of us! TFS! ❤
I love the technique with the water and oxide inks. I think it gives an instant vintage look and the colors are so saturated. Love it! ❤❤
I actually quit watching Louisa also since she seems to advertise so many of Tim Holtz’s products. I don’t like that so much since his products are expensive for me also. I wish she wouldn’t mention his products so much and go back to doing her own things.
Some channels are nothing but commercials!
I think she is just trying to help others find them. She doesn't get any money sharing his products as far as I understand. Just take the amazing inspiration and substitute your own items. Many youtubers are pushing their shops, selling their journals, their digitals etc. Many create only with their own digitals. Same thing really. But I take the ideas, inspiration etc and do my own thing.
I am thankful for Barbara and Luisa they have taught me alot
Love the luminous look of the inks with this technique.
OMG! I was shocked when I read the title of this. And very sad that something had driven apart you two great friends. So glad to hear your reasons for saying that--- phew! Cutting a masterboard blindly is another shocker for my system--- but for your parts today it all turned out great. Thanks for more great ideas and this video.
NOTHING could ever break the friendship between Barbara and me!! ❤
@@luiseheinzl As I said I was shocked, dismayed, saddened....and then so relieved when Barbara was just being clever. I agree with her, it is so hard not wanting to always leap into whatever you have shown!
Beautiful work. What a lovely photo too! Thank you Barbara.
I got worried there for a moment, thinking you too had a friendship fallout! This title got me, Barbara! 😂😂 Good one. I'm glad you're doing you now. I love the way you both have your own niche. I struggle with the same issue a lot and have been trying to stay true to myself. Love the art you made here as always, and thank you for sharing the techniques because I watch your channel more so, i wouldn't have known about it if you didn't share. 😘❤️🌸
Love your and Luise"s videos
Hi. Barbara, I LOVE your journal and tutorial, and your heading definitely caught my attention!!! I love your videos and Louise's too. You're both pretty amazing in your own right. You always inspire me. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Take care, and have a great week ahead. xx❤❤😊😊
You and Luise are trials, always pushing, pushing, pushing! I can't stop watching!
You had me worried for a minute...I love this! You both are so creative!!
You got me! I thought there was SCANDAL 😂... You are a genius yourself. You have such a fun personality. Absolutely adore you 🎉
Aaaw! Thank you so much!! ❤️
Gorgeous technique! Thanks for taking us along as you experimented. They turned out amazing! Hugs 🤗❤️
That Luise! She makes us want to try new things😊. Love it!
OMG, that title kinda made me scared to watch....I never liked grunge before Luise, but I find myself doing more of it with splashes of color. She is addicting, & so are you! Have a beautiful day!
I’m always o inspired by both you and Louise.
Always excited to see one of your videos is posted.
Just never enough time to do all I want to try🤪🥰 2:10
Thank you so much! ❤️
Oh that stamping on wet paper is genius. Yes, I always want to try cool things you all do but can't keep pace with my fibro so my to do list is huge 😄. I bet your paper towels are lovely for crafting with too! Super scrummy 😍😍😍 I love the colours you used. Turned out brilliantly! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
I saw Luise do this with the Distress Oxide and I was amazed. I must have a very small brain because I was amazed all over again when I saw you do it. I was just sure it was going to be a watery blob and it wasn't! It's incredible how this works! Thanks for having the courage to do this with a family photo. I am inspired!
I like this idea! I do use Tim hola inks. But I saved until I got the inks I wanted. They are worth using if you sell your products you make.
Awesome, love it. Thank you Luisa!
Just gorgeous, love that campfire ink pad. Tfs❤
Absolutely wonderful!!!!! 1st time watching you!
So fun to watch! I stamp my oxide onto my surface dry and then spritz with water to give a watercolor effect. I love how yours turned out too!
Thanks, I haven’t tried that method yet! 😃
I do that too! Moss and vintage photo on the same page then spritz with water gives a really cool effect on book pages especially, really grungy and aged ❤
That is pretty epic I must say, love it! Thank you ❤
So beautiful ❤😂🎉 Simply Amazing ! Thank You 🙏
Hahaha. You got me! Well done for giving Louise the heads up before you posted.
I thought: "Whaaat? Drama in the JJ community? Nooooo...."
😂😂
😂😂😂
Me too - I love love you both and follow you since you both started. xx
Hi there. You had me going there for a bit when I read the title of the video. I was Oh, No! and then ohhhh... after the first minute or so of the video😃 😀
That pocket looks great 😊
You did a great job! Thank's
Fabulous ❤ ❤❤❤
This was delightful Thank you for such a fun video. I am so excited to try this technique. Well done!
Was heart breaking seeing how hard it was for you to blind cut. Turned out amazing xxx
Thank you for the inspiration.
I love this so much!😊
Very inspiring.
Cool! I like to see a change-up from regular stamping.
Beautiful
😂 you are both talented artists in the mixed media junk journaling world. Like the effect very much
Hi From Australia, Barbara. Another fab video, thanks for sharing, I'm going to give this a go for an art journal I'm making 👍
I love how it turned out💕
Beautiful!❤
I do enjoy her videos they are inspiring and create ideas on how to fill my own junk journals. Trouble is most of them are very long. I just about can manage to focus on 25 minutes. I have yet to create a master board maybe it will help using up scraps.
BWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA I TOTALLY fell for your click-bait title and MAN was I about to get MAD at you and stand up for poor LUIZE!!! too funny.
Amazing as always. TFS ❤
so awesome just love it!!!!
Nice video!!! TFS
Austin TX USA
Loved it xxxx❤❤❤❤
Ooh, I think I will use this technique with a new mini journal I want to make.

You’re so funny and wonderful!❤

Lovely❤❤❤❤tyfs
Great ideas
I'm basically new to your channel and I've only watched 2 videos so far and you have inspired me!!!!
Yay! 😃
You really did a good job!!!!
Great job and beautiful!
Love it
😂 you're the best sweetie 😮 you did give a heads up to Luise did you? I'm sure she laughed so loud about this title. Love your pocket❤ sending a big hug
Thanks sweetie and yes, Luise got a head’s up and was worried! 😂😂😂
😂 Ich wusste schon beim Lesen des Titels genau, worauf das hinausläuft! Mir gehts nämlich genau so 🤣!
❤️
Love the snack videos! Short be to the point!
Barbara: I was on to you right off the bat. Good intro for an eye catcher!
Both of you ladies are very respectful of each other and would settle issues,if there were any, as mature adults from the get go.
This is a very intriguing use of using different elements. Carol from California
Thanks Carol, you are so right! ❤️
I love you both!
I loved it when you said when u see her work you want to copy her😂. I am the same way so I have stopped watching some peeps till I get a book done 😂so many wonderfully talented and inspiring ladies, including you my dear.I love this video and tfs❤ those printables are the bomb❤
💜💜💜
I bet she is still laughing over your title. I know it made me giggle.
I like what you all do ....at first i couldn't watch lois cuz so much dwtail etc...but now i need those details....lol...
Lois henzel...am I spelling right?...
Luise Heinzl 😊
❤
LOL I just had to watch this video because you were not going to watch LH videos - hahahahaha - now I understand why but this looks so cool.
❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous.
Actually I do not watch Luisa heinzel videos anymore since she became a representative of Tim Holtz products. I do not buy Tim Holtz products because they are too expensive and they do not fit into my budget and I like doing many things and finding many things on my own that don't cost me money
I don’t ink. Too expensive and time consuming, I prefer to use old paper. I do coffee and tea dye as I don’t like stark white. I find his people creepy. His stuff is ridiculously expensive. I buy vintage and antique stuff from charity shops.
You don’t need to buy Tim Holtz products. Use what you have. Luise is an amazing artist, as well as Barbara, and many things can be learned from them both. ❤
Substitute your own products. Use the concepts. Both offer tremendous inspiration. Luisa is a brillant artist.
It’s called inspiration. I rarely use the same products as people I watch, because all my time would be waiting for my orders of the product to come in. I enjoy many videos for the inspiration. I also think we should celebrate people that are blessed with offers to represent a product if they actually used them.
That's like only watching artists who use the same brand of paper or inks in their art as you.
I had to read the comments first to find out what had happened 😆
