- I’ve been asked to turn on the camera and wing it, and that defines this video. I have long planned to add different types of tags to my idea journal and today I ‘m showing a handful of different ways to alter and decorate tags, to create variety in our journals and projects. My daughter is a professora currently teaching online Spanish through Spokane Community College, while we all enjoy living in Maine. Oh my gosh love it when you take a concept and run with it……so great to have so many ideas for tags. Taking lots of the principles you use in making different book page but in tag form. Sooooo much fun! Can’t wait to try some of these. Thank you for sharing.❤

You put your signatures in the same way I do mine. For some reason I don’t like seeing the “sewn ins” on the spine of the books. It’s like an OCD I seem to have per the JJ’s lol😂 I also love your book that you keep track of the stuff you’ve made. I do similar also! Looks we have the same sort of “ways” we do our craft’n!

Hi Cori, I'm new to your videos. Thank you for sharing such creative ideas for making tags. Right now, I have to STOP watching crafting videos until I finish my daughter and son in laws wedding anniversary card and a birthday card for my daughter as well. And these aren't your typical cards. I look forward to creating a bunch of tags (which I need) when I'm finished with these two other projects. Crafting RUclips videos is a double-edged sword. Once I get a good idea, I have to make it. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

This was such a wonderful video! I liked the flip through because I am new to junk journaling. Not new to papercrafting or mixed media or miscellaneous crafts but new to junk journaling in particular. Also loved the belly band and even just curling the end of the paper lips. (Such a difference for something so small). Loved all the different tags and having an idea journal. I did start an art journal with Finnabair ( swore I was not gonna get into art or junk journaling), haha, and decided that the art journal would be a great thing for color palettes. I have of things and ideas and such so on the same line. Maybe even just a quote I want to save or a business I hear about. So the idea journal to me is a must have and if I want to play with something it’s there. Thanks for sharing!!!

Truth: I only watch a few channels because I'm awful at remembering who made what. It's also why I rarely use any digitals except those made by Tracie Fox. Even though there are many, many gorgeous digis out there, I'd never remember who made what! And, thank you 😊

You could use the paper clips to attach the belly band to the page rather than taping them down then on the other page use the paper clips as tuck spots.❤

It’s been 11 years since my kindergarten counselor days. Still missing those days and my two bookcases of “playthings and sand trays and rocks!” So scraps are my substitutes. TYFT. Does my heart good. Last week of school means lots of cards and flowers and candy, not to mention HUGS❤❤❤
I love my 5th graders. I work in a very low income school, so it's hugs for me, which I absolutely love!
@@CoriDahmen yes. I too had low income area. Mostly 3rd and 5th grade anger management boys!!! But by the end of the year we were buds! I even wanted to adopt one of the dumpster babies 👶
