I’ve subscribed and watched all your vids. I like what you are doing and this vid is by far your best yet. This vid is more natural and you being you and not trying to be a funny guy. For a brand new channel starting off I think you will do well. I want to wish you and your family well, and keep grinding. Looking forward to the future vids of the trailer and the car.

I vote budget 351w with a nitrous shot. Build a reliable system with timing retard and good fuel delivery. Road happy but able to take healthy Nitrous shot. Save the stroker for the 1/4 mile car. My thoughts are the stroker would be potentially hard on parts on the long drives. I don’t know how big the cam is but I seem to see a lot of guys having valve train issues. How much nitrous to use is the question

What if you got a Fairmont/Fairmont wagon has Mustang suspension, get alittle more room

That isn't a bad idea we've had this car around for a few years trying to find a use for it!

I say find whatever off brand big block you can find a deal on and stuff it in there. A MOPAR, 440, 413, 383 or a Cadillac 500, 472 or Pontiac 455, 428, 421, 400, 389 or an Oldsmobile 455, 425, 400 or Buick 455, 430, 400, Buick Nailhead 364, 401, 425 would be very interesting engine swaps that will have a lot of controversy that will equal views.
Those engines have a huge cool factor and would run fantastic in a light little Mustang. Go for the cheapest running one of the above, do a refresh and any cheap upgrades you can afford and burn some rubber.😁👍

Oh yeah, the very first HRM Drag week had a fox body with a 500 Cadillac that they ran it on the track with a 500 shot! I wouldn't recommend that with those factory cast rods though. Best to upgrade to BBC rods and have the crank stroked .300" so the BBC rods will fit. Cadillac's crank rod journals are 2.500" and BBC rod journals are 2.200" so might as well gain cubes if you have to spend to make the rods fit. Also the rods will need to be narrowed from .990" to .925" to fit the Cadillac crank journals.
These Cadillac blocks can handle making 1,000 + HP as long as the internals can handle that much. The factory internals can not.😎👍

If we had a bigger budget I would consider a block of the bigs but for now we are going to stick with the SBF, stay tuned we might have found a solution.

What about getting the sbf running using as many parts as you already have and sell it. You should be able to get a grand or 2 depending what kind of parts are in it? A running very badly BB of some sort is only basically a rebuildable core that should cost 500 to 650 tops.
Or you can get a crappy motorhome with a BB, a lot of those came with BBCs. A lot of the motorhome stuff can be sold to recoup some costs too if any of it is good. These are usually lower miles that rot out from sitting, they are really good hot rod organ donors.(The drivetrain)
Are you trying to do something easy and cookie cutter that so many others are doing or are you trying to build your channel? Dealer's choice.🤷😎👍

The biggest problem is that I prefer manual trans and there is not much available besides aftermarket. We do plan to dabble in big blocks eventually we are eyeballing a notch back that's been tubed in the front for a BB! The hard part about selling an engine is its hard to get out what you have in it. Thank you for the responses I love the ideas!

You know, you could convert a motorhome into a pull behind trailer to camp in style too after you steal the drivetrain out of it. Plus that would be WAY cooler camper building content than the plywood sardine can you're building now.(No offense)😁 If both of you fart in your sleep you'll both
      suffocate.😯🥵🤢🤣😂😁👍
