This is great advice, thanks for making the video and giving the information needed to begin this hard but worthwhile journey. 2 months into TSW for me!

I was recently prescribed dipro salic for my scalp psoriasis where the steroid potency is potent. My doctor told me to use it once a day for 3 weeks and then once a week after that. After researching about TSW a lot I'm starting to hesitate before starting this treatment. Do you think it is a good idea to start using it ?

Hi Nabeelah, thanks so much for your question, it is a really important one. TSW doesn't happen over night, it's usually a result of consistent long term use (several years for example). Topical steroids can be very effective when used short term, however, it is good to be aware of what the risks are of using them too much. If you are concerned then you can definitely speak to your doctor about this. If your doctor doesn't listen to your concerns, you can and should absolutely find another doctor who will be able to help you choose another treatment route if that's what you decide to do. But above all else, always make sure you are speaking to a qualified medical doctor, even if it's a different one :)

Have you seen any effectiveness in tapering off topical steroids? I keep hearing different opinions such as tapering only prolongs the agony

Hi there ! This is a really good question. If I’m totally honest I’m not sure that I’m qualified to give a definite answer but from my understanding of how the vaccine works, I think it should be perfectly safe. Let me look into this though!

@@naturully Thank you for your response. It would be helpful if you can look into it. Because I have been researching on this from many days and not able to decide it. Here we have two vaccines- Covishield and Covaxin. Not sure which one to take. Covishield has L-Histadine in the ingredient which I think will make histamine increase in the body and that will lead to itching for people like me. It would be really helpful, if someone can help me on this.
