    Its nice to watch footage of Tiger without people screaming "get in the hole" on every hit.

    Stunning camera work. The shot at 7:28 is one of my favorite clips of a golf shot.

    • @aronpickering4751
      @aronpickering4751 4 года назад +4

      Yeh that angle hey of that shot PERFECT! very very rarely you'll get to see the full ball flight like that. That's the REAL SHOT TRACER.

    • @crazy4cockapoos
      @crazy4cockapoos 4 года назад +1

      @@aronpickering4751 the tracer shots are nice, but I wish they would incorporate angles that allow viewers to watch entire shot. such a waste that most of the time we're just watching a white ball against a blue background lmao. maybe work on some drone technology.

    • @koeoperations1938
      @koeoperations1938 Год назад

      That was the best angle I have seen ever! The perfect draw back to the hole. It is funny with all the tech now, the cameras can't catch the ball like that. That was just great camera work!

    • @estebanguerra2573
      @estebanguerra2573 3 месяца назад

      It also perfectly puts the size of the green into perspective. Great call, awesome angle that I wish was incorporated in today’s coversge.

    Never knew greens could be so freaking huge. Nothing like putting from 30 yards away

    • @gredangeo
      @gredangeo 4 года назад +9

      They almost have to be huge. Pros know how to chip very well to leave a gimmie-putt from short distances. A stupid long putt is harder for them. More chances to misread the green and leave too much, and end up three-putting.
      In all fairness though. Pro fairways are stupid narrow. Most of these fairways are half the width of the ones I'm typically on. So much forgiveness on casual courses.

    • @Twyer24
      @Twyer24 4 года назад +2

      This is a good point. I know I'd much rather pitch from 20 yards than putt

    Nobody:
    Happy birthday to Tiger Woods!
    He’s 45 years old today, ladies and gentlemen. Come watch this! This dude is a legend I grew up playing on the PS2, for the tiger woods pga tour series. I was in my single digits. And my favorite golf video game growing up is tiger woods pga tour 2006. Because, I played for hours of it, and I was loving it. Now, I enjoy the games I still got today at home. So, happy New Years everyone. 😎

    I think most pro's knew what was coming. 3 straight Junior Amateurs, followed by 3 straight Amateurs..He then wins 3 of first 7 pro tournaments. If not his first major as a professional, at Augusta, by 12 shots. Unprecedented 30 years on. I thought that he might win 30 majors. He probably thought so as well.

      Na most were skeptical. If you go back and watch the 1996 US Am they talked about how people said he wasn’t ready to turn pro yet because he hadn’t played well in the pro events he entered. They even got a clip of Phil straight up saying he shouldn’t turn pro yet because he wouldn’t have enough time to secure his tour card. And of course there’s the Curtis strange “you’ll learn”. Lot of skepticism, but by April 1997 they knew what was up.
