I live in Lady Lake and so glad we have the super store. I got tired of driving to Orlando to go to one. Yeah it’s not the biggest but they have everything you need. Love y’all’s channel. Keep up the amazing work.

All the golf galaxies in my area make you feel like you’re loitering, there’s so many people asking if you need help and a few particular employees made it seem like you’re not welcome. The superstores, you can take your time looking at what you want and when you need help, there is always someone nearby
I think I need to go to the PGA stores in Florida, Chicagoland PGA stores Hard have any deals on clubs, and nothing close to the used Scottie Cameron’s that you are able to find. Great video!

For the Plantar Fasciitis!!!! - get a pair of OOFOS SANDALS, wear them around the house all the time. Keep them by your bed too. Plantar usually bothers people the most after they step out of bed in the AM. - get a pair of ALTRA’s or HOKA’s, your mizunos are shortening your Achilles and calves, those 2 brands will stretch those muscles more. You get plantar because those muscles are tight, therefore, anything you can do to stretch those muscles is good too! Good luck!
I have an old Callaway 3W Steel Head. Still play it. I have reshafted it over the years to help my swing. It serves as my driver. I find it easy to hit and I hit the fairway from the tee pretty darn well. If you are limited on budget, definitely search used stuff. I found a Ping putter I love, used.
Jon: there are good Plantar Fasciitis physical therapy protocols (mostly stretching and rolling on a golf ball) on line. Fixed my horrible case in 2 weeks. As for why so much apparel and gloves (highest profit margins, though pre-owned can be good too)…signed former big box golf store manager. Keep up the great work, you two.
Our PGA stores Trackman are the ones behind you on the ground and I don't know if they don't have them set right or what but trying to play a round of Sim golf on them is a nightmare constantly not registering shots being obviously way off on distances etc. Store is only like 9 months old too.
Love the PGA Superstore in Brookfield, WI. Always get great service. I usually go there to practice since it's only $30 for an hour with the simulator.
Having dealt with plantar fasciitis, I would recommend trying the Hoka shoes. They've been a God send to me. Haven't dealt with it in over a year now. Tried walking around in my Skechers and felt pain almost immediately. I walk in my Hoka's about 3-5 miles every day. It's worth the money.
Similar bad experience at Summerlin NV. Many staff. But no help and ignored. Not interested, yet busy with others. Called up the manager and suggested folks were were discriminating. He apologised and offered a free fitting. The fitter then cancelled the day of. Never going there again.
Was there yesterday, it's not bad, I like the Altamonte springs one better but this one is closer to me. I think the putting green is a little small, they could have cut into the bag or glove section to make the putting green a little bigger, but overall not bad.
Plantar fasciitis - Crocs help sooooo much. Get well soon. Their pickleball section is bigger than the lefty section. I’m on the lookout for a senior flex lefty den caddy bag. 🤣

I have never had any employee go out of the way to help me. Asking to hit a club is like pulling their teeth. I was trying a new set of irons and the guy told me I can't be there all day after I hit 3 shots. I heard another customer being told he can only hit 5 shots. This was in Myrtle Beach.
You can’t believe any reviews in or around The Villages. No business in the area has above a 3.5 rating. All of the senior citizens review bomb everything in the area. I’ve been to this store multiple times and nothing but positive experiences.

I spent the night on the sidewalk there for the grand opening! I live about 30 mins from the store, so me and 2 buddies set up a tent and camped out so we could get some free stuff haha I was #20 in line and got a Qi10 hybrid, that I traded in and used the money to buy a Kradul hybrid golf bag Best night of camping I ever had! 😂 But the store is awful
I have a hard time with trusting reviews like the one you read. It's almost like they went in with a huge bias and attitude only to have in confirmed through their own confirmation bias.
It’s so funny to me that they commented on the glove section because every pga superstore is model after each other every PGA store has a huge amount of gloves Like do yall not looks at your surroundings lol
I would guess that many of the staff knew who you were when you walked in the door and if they didn't, you videoing yourself and having the microphone on your hat was probably a give away that you were not just some "Joe Schmo".
@marckimbrell4645 the manufacturer sells their products to these stores and they put their margins on them.. the manufacturer has no control over what the stores put the price at.. of course smart stores will try and be competitive but greed is everywhere.. don't believe me, look at the prices in grocery stores.. not to mention these companies also pay listing fees for even having the item in the store.. @@jsniagara8202 Most if not all manufactures have a MAP price. It would be very naive to think that manufactures don't influence what stores sale products for. The comparison to groceries is not an accurate because golf clubs are a luxury item and groceries are not. Manufactures do not want their brand to be known as a "cheap" club. Not that is going to happen to the major brands. But to say the manufactures have no control how much a retail store charges is simply not accurate. Manufactures can not price fix for the retailers, but they have many tools to influence the retailers. I hope this helps.
The store just opened and I saw nothing for a bargain. I could order on line and get the same price. I found no deals on shoes,gloves,balls and bags. The Villages is not happy with the high prices. Stores down the street had better deals.

Went to the PGA superstore in Vegas was a huge disappointment. The mats in the hitting bays were completely shot. Next to zero used selection. My local golf galaxy was 100% better
You stated almost every employee that worked there asked if you needed help but I never once saw a worker come up to you or ask you anything. If you’re going to try and back a store maybe you should have at least had a voice of a worker that asked you if you needed help. I get they may not want to show their face but we basically have to go off your word that they asked you if you needed anything. No proof.

If you have a bad time at that store just walk next door to Total Wine. You’ll find everything you need there.

The PGA Superstore in Westbury, NY (Long Island) has 2.5 stars. I have been there and can confirm it is BAD.
