The finds were great but Jon dropping that a Toyota Corolla is ALMOST as beautiful as Ashley was a true demonstration of the wonderful relationship you two have. 😄
You guys are the best and make me laugh! Jon is the popcorn brain and Ashley is the butter and salt that makes it irresistible! Still my all time favorite is ‘I don’t do math but give me geometry and I’m a physicist!’ That is comic genius❤️

Those Ben Hogan Texan irons date back to the late 30s I believe. He was with MacGregor until around 53 when he started his own company.
I seem to remember that he had a 'disagreement' with MacGregor which may have involved some fairly colourful words😂
@@MrLukealbanese I just did a little research and found out that MacGregor and Hogan had a disagreement over him playing their golf ball. Despite all the testing they provided him, he still preferred the Titleist ball and that could have been maybe one of the reasons for him leaving.

I had a student in my First Tee class years ago who was putting with a 1A. I had never heard one but recognized it immediately. She got it from her grandfathers garage, I told her it was special and to treat it with care.
I had one of those 1A putters, I liked it because you could putt left or right handed. I gave it away a few years ago to one of my golfing buddies who liked the "ping" sound. He used to use it with the Ping two colored golf balls.

I absolutely LOVE the sound of that PING! There is nothing worst to me than an insert putter that has no sound. Sound equals feel.

Ping is king. I still play my Zing 2 irons from when they were brand new. They now have graphite senior shafts. The Eye and Eye 2 were excellent clubs and I know a lot of folks using them, young and old.
New to stacked golf. I envy what you do everyday. I also like the time after buying you test each club.

Ping 1-A is my favorite putter to own. I also have Ping n Ping 35th anniversary putter that makes the same “Ping” noise.

Great finds...especially the O.G. Ping Putter! I can say my 1970's Acushnet Bullseye Blade putter is never leaving my bag! I also came across a "home made" 8802 putter. Whom ever made it did a good job...but the maker didn't even put their name on it! Maybe I should send it to Ash....since the shaft is way too short for me, as I am 6'6"!!! 😂😂😂😂

Sounds like a Phoenix 1-A. They're not as resonant as 1-A putters past. I have a Scottsdale 1-A and it rings for quite some time & won't ever be sold. If only I could find a Redwood City 1-A I could die happy.

Found the A-1 putter at goodwill for $ 2.49
A-1 is steak sauce. The putter is a 1-A. This is ping’s longest running retail model which you can still purchase new today from ping.

If that Ping 1A has Palo Alto printed on it it’s worth a lot. If it was made after Kirsten moved to AZ it’s not that valuable. Lots of them around.

The prices you show r Irrelevant those are asking prices on ebay not necessarily what they are selling for
If the price is green in the screenshot then that is the price it has sold for on eBay.... If it is black then that is just the asking price
