@@robtintelnot9107Why on earth would it be Gendry? If Gendry was Cersei's son with Robert, there had been no reason to not keep him. Their first born died. And I'm pretty sure they added that one to plant that little seed of doubt in the audience regarding the other Baratheon children.
Gendry has no relation to Cersei. She doesn't even know he exist.
Sorry, I got temporarily tired of how people are confused about Gendry's relevance. He is only relevant as an added proof that any child with Baratheon blood will be black haired. And it makes no sense to talk about how he might be Cersei's son... 😂
It’s also hinted to in the books that cersi did everything to not get pregnant by robert so she probably killed the child with poison or something of the sort

The clues were there all along. if you go back to episode #2, Cersei HERSELF said that she had a baby with Robert who died, and that baby was "a black haired beauty".
Same goes for the blonde brothel girl who had a black haired bastard child with Robert.

Cersei shows how little she knows Ned. Saying he was "returning drunk from a brothel" as if she had intel on him is something you would never see Ned do. That's what the less honorable knights she knows would do. Not Ned. Also just FYI at this time Jaime Lannister is the best swordsman alive. Only Barristan Selmy (Lord commander of the kings guard) could challenge his prowess.
He is old as balls now, but I would pay top dollar to see Ser Barristan Selmy in his prime fight Jaime Lannister, that would be a fight for the ages!
This is the only guy who defeated Robert in combat, even Ned was relieved he never got to fight Ser Barristan during their rebellion against the Targariens. If I were to rank these cats, it would go:

2) Ser Barristan Selmy
3) Jaime Lannister
4) Ned Stark
5) King Robert
6) Rhaegar Targarien

Like when he tells the entire kingsguard including the hound how even now he could slice through them like carving a cake. Wljaime and barristan prime would have been the fight for the ages for sure. Viserys severely underestimated Drogo’s power and his love for Dany while overestimating his own
This was the best reaction to anything ive ever seen. I reacted the exact same when i furst watched it! Its been infront of us the whole time! The king always brings up how hes "surrounded by the golden hair of her (Cercies) family" and says "every time i turn i see one of thise gokden haired sh1ts". And basic biology is darker traits are dominant (eyes, hair, skin).

Nah. Been watching GOT reactions from day one. The fandom is absolutely terrible with spoilers. They generally don't come right out and say stuff but they absolutely heavily hint, all the time. All the fucking time. They are terrible. Watching this stuff without a moderator is just looking for trouble.

Bronn uses this to his advantage, and continually dodges to force his opponent to exert all of his energy.

Generally, bastards are not considered in the line of succession unless they have been recognized (acknowledged) by their noble parent and adopted into the house. Robert has not yet recognized any of his bastards... so until he would do so... none of them would be in line of succession. This means Robert's brothers, Stannis and Renly, would be next in line.
Absolutely love this episode, like a couple have said, this is where the show really caught on and people started going crazy, just a great example good writing and direction. Heck, just look at that shot of The King on his boar hunt, looks amazing.

Seeing House of the Dragon- I now kind of understand where Viserys was coming from, seeing how great and powerful the Targaryens were compared to now- it’s pretty insane what pressure he was feeling. Shitty person for sure, but I kind of get that fear he had.
Exactly, After learning Viserys’s backstory and knowing he was a once a nice kid but was eventually driven mad, makes him one of the most tragic characters in asoiaf. Dude had it rough, having to take care of his baby sis all while trying to rebuild his house.

This was the Episode that made Bronn my favorite character in the show. His story is a bit different in the books, but the show version becomes one of the most entertaining characters.
