I feel bad because he did such a good job playing a psychotic insufferable child he got a lot of hate as an actor and choose to step away from acting because of it.

Ok, so - Norwegian here; When I first got into Game of Thrones, me and a friend - we both _really_ connected with the long-ass-winters theme! Obv in the show, they're years and years, but really - back in medieval times and older, Norwegians kind of spent all summer chopping firewood and making candles and beer - in order to survive the coming winter.
Even to this day we have "winter depression" because with all modernity, there's still no getting rid of the dark, that's planetary.
It gets rough :D
Flip side - all summer is all blue sky all night (unless it rains, which it might)

I live in fairbanks, alaska. We may only get 1 hour of sun in the winter but we get 23 hours of sun in the summer 🤷♂️ it only got up to about 12 degrees here today. Summer is right around the corner though

Across the Narrow Sea, there is the other continent of Essos, where you find the city of Penthos. This is where the Targaryens Vyseris and Daenerys (Dani) lived in exile until she married Khal Drogo.
You've met three Lannisters so far: Cersei, her twin brother Jaime, and her baby brother Tyrion, the imp.
Cersei married Robert Baratheon after he rebelled against the Mad King Targaryen and took the throne. You've just met Robert's baby brother Renly, who sits in the Small Council with Ned Stark, the Hand of the King.
Jaime Lannister was the Mad King's Kingsguard, who stabbed him in the back.
Tyrion is the dwarf, who travelled north with Jon Snow, who's "taking the black" (i.e. joining the Night's Watch). He went along because he "wanted to stand at the top of The Wall and piss at the edge of the world".
Jon Arryn was an old Knight of the Vale who helped raise both Robert and Ned. He married Cat's sister Lysa.. When Robert became King, he became Hand of the King.
EDIT: As Old Nan told in her scary story, this is not our world. In this world, summer can last for years, decades even, and so does the winter. In the longest winters, people can be born and die without ever seeing the sun.

17:02 im further north then alaska currently (only temporarliy, I do not live this far north), the 82 parallel north to be exact. in the winter, its about 2 and a half months of pure darkness, its kind of like being in the unloaded part of the map. it is very unusual, but occasonally during a full moon, the tundra will be lit up. right now, we are in the transition phase, where we have sunlight but the sun just rotates around the horizen, kind of like its morning and noon all the time, and we are about to enter into 24/7 sun light until next winter. it really messes with your sleep patterns, very unusall walking outside at 2PM in the afternoon and having it be the blackest pitch black you had ever seen, and then 3 months later, walking around at 2AM, and having the sun out.
I love it when people speculate on who is gonna die and when. lol

I lived in Alaska...in the winter you do only have a few hours of 'dawn lighting and in the summer it doesn't get dark...first year there we had to build tents over our beds to be able to get some sleep...in the winter it's hard to get your energy going

I live in Juneau Alaska now from Houston TX. It is like no place else. I live on an island next to a glacier you can walk to and on, surround by mountains and a rainforest. We have gorgeous weather..the summers don't get above 70 and are 17 hours long,and the winters don't get below 20 with gorgeous snow.

17:00 - I live in Sweden, in winter the sun doesnt come up, and if it comes up the sunset is 3PM, and its like this for about 5 months per year, its horrific even when you are used to it.

I went to Tromsø in Norway (inside the Arctic circle) in late December, and the nights were TWENTY THREE HOURS LONG.
The day lasted from 11:30 to 12:30. One single hour.
2 PM... it's total darkness. I did like the cold there, even though I'm from Saudi Arabia.

WHen ny friends and I went to iceland in June the sun never set. It would be 2 am and still light which totally threw off our internal clocks lol

The screaming while attacking, if i recall, does a lot physically to the attack. It adds a little more power into the strike (along with proper form and such), as well as frighten Or startle your opponent. A chance to make them flinch and drop guard.

I don't live in Alaska, but I worked in Prudhoe bay. The dark of winter affects people in very different ways. Some suffer depression. Some are relatively unaffected. Some simply sleep a lot. I was one of those. Had to force myself to get up and work out hard to get rolling. But no sun equals weird lethargy. Others go completely psychotic. Got to weed those out.
Not having your legs today would be bad enough, but back then fuck that. Someone not born to a powerful family wouldn't even be able to survive without the charity of others. End up offing myself and white walker voodoo would start piloting my ass like I was a Krang suit.

Bran won't be undergoing advanced spinal surgery to restore the use of his legs, nor would anyone in such a time period. Debilitating injuries had far more impact in more primitive time periods.

Walkers haven't been around for 1000s year according to this lore. So this current world thinks it's a myth... that is also why the wall was built that long ago to keep them out.... there is about 10000 years of history with this world. You are only seeing like 10 years of it by the end of show.

Something else you need to know about Jaime. He was just 16 years old when he killed the mad king.
Yeah this 16 year old kid did what no one else was willing to do after being forced to watch the king he swore to protect burn people day after day in the throne room. No one else did shit about it, and yet he's the one who's seen as dishonorable. I'll never understand that. I mean, Jaime did some horrible things, but killing the guy who wanted to burn masses of his own subjects is definitely not one of them.
That's not anything anybody needs to know, it's not relevant at all... on top of that I don't even think that his age during the rebellion is ever mentioned in the TV series... book details have been changed, a few years were added to the age of most kid/teen characters compared to how old they were in the books just to make it more realistic.
How about mentioning that while Snow might look like a grown man with a beard, he's actually 14 when he joins the nights watch. Or let them know that they shouldn't make any comments about Danys looks, it's kinda creepy to sexualize a 13 year old chilld getting forced into marriage and raped repeatedly by a giant savage
