- Today I talk about Fear and Respect, a game that was originally suppose to be on PS2, XBOX and even PS3. A canceled game with an interesting history. Also I decided to do this as there’s not a lot of info about it and there’s some info and pics that aren’t even on the internet.So I decided to give it a shot on explaining and also I want to better my video editing skills. This may be my last time I used a 32GB iPad for video editing. ENJOY!

I have only just found out about Fear & Respect through an episode of Matt McMuscles' Wha Happun?, which focused on Midway and their rise and (painful) fall. As I was a die-hard GTA fan around the time it was supposed to come out, I could only imagine being so excited to play it, only for the game to be cancelled all of the sudden. I feel pretty much baffled about the Rating Pending part in the game's promo trailer, as I could only imagine, that the game would have been rated M for Mature, as most games from the same time period and nature were (The game was never submitted to the ESRB for rating.). The same could be said for Germany, where, given how "harsh" video gaming in Germany was around the time of its supposed release, it would have been either heavily-censored or just out-right banned, and then subsequently placed on the so-called "Index" as many games from the same time period and nature were, including GTA San Andreas.
For sure it would of been rated M especially since John Singleton who was going to write the story of the game, directed movies that were mostly rated M the only exception being 2 Fast 2 Furious. Part of me wished Midway played it smarter too. I hope there is some sort of prototype out there.
I really do want to get in contact with the developers who worked on this game and try to see if they can release the demo
