Hi Kris, killer tones indeed. But as for the Duellist, the array of settings with channels, switches and now blinking leds of different colours is a major headache to me. It's probably personal, I'm now getting old, but I regret the times when you had an amp, a lead and maybe one pedal like the Boss OD with just 3 pots: Drive, Level and tone, all the rest being set from the guitar's volume pot. You guessed it, I'm old school and don't get along with all these new bells & whistles... Most of all: does one really have to go through all this to mimic the sound of a guitar+lead directly in an amp?... You tell me ! Cheers bro

I wish Wampler did this presetupgrade to his Euphoria and Pantheon. The original 1987 Volta is in my opinion the best Marshall Plexi representation in a pedal. It sounds anf behaves very much like big real plexi amp. Not like over the top gunned JCM800 with boost in front of it. Also the EQ controlls work in a way that helps live playing. You can have sweet sound and dig in without the pedal farts out (sad reality of many otherwise great OD pedals). Lovely stuff. With the Kaslader Vintgae King, this is the best new OD pedal sounds in your channel. (Lets not compare this to King of Tone :D )
Hi ! You got to demo the SWEEP OPTION with an expression pedal, which allows you to seemingly sweep from one preset to another ... and that's the crazy cool feature about that pedal.
It engages a hot rodded preamp, and it's a reference to the "Spinal Tap" movie, where the guitarist has a modded Marshall head with all the knobs going up to eleven, not ten 😁

This pedal sounds unreal. It has that chewy midrange bite that you get from an amp and pedals can’t usually reproduce. Incredible!
