it is simple but not easy - when you have people willing to have their children die in order to kill what they view as their enemies (most everyone who is not muslim) there is little hope for peace. we can only pray.

'there has never been a state in the geographic area known a palestine that was not jewish'. Seriously? So the Ottomans, the Mamluks, the abbasids, the romans, the seleucids, the achaemenids etc. were all jewish? Even if we assume that he's just terrible at expressing himself and he actually meant something like 'there has never been a state with its capital in palestine that wasn't jewish' he'd still be wrong, as he is ignoring the latin Kingdom of Jerusalem and the pre-jewish canaanite kingdoms (or whatever they were). Also saying 'if the Israelis stopped fighting then they'd be attacked immediately, but if the Palestinians wanted peace then there'd be peace' is a bit disingenuous, all it means is that Israel is happy with the status quo, but palestinians don't feel that they can live with it. If you're really trying to explain it you'd talk about why this is the case, and the blockades, expanding settlements, checkpoints and occupation that the Palestinians object to, and their violent response to this which means that Israel does not feel it can stop.

You confuse a lot of old times with new ones.
But I will answer you briefly.
Jerusalem is a city built by King David 3500 years ago.
Caliph Omar in 638 AD built one house in the middle of the city and in place of the Temple of the Jews.
Do you think that because of a house in the city we should give the city to people who did not build it? .. You know that everything that happens today in Jerusalem happens because God wants you to see what He will do in Jerusalem.
And the judgment for the whole world will begin by God..God gave the world a wise and prudent people and the world abused God's people for 3500 years.
We are the children God has chosen and if you go against the children of God then you also hate their Father in heaven and he is God.
You can not show hatred towards the child without arousing the anger of the father,
      And the Father is God.

Recently talking about annexing a reporter with a hidden camera came out to ask the Palestinians under what regime they want to live, 100% of the respondents (some with open face and some) did not answer unequivocally that they want to live under the Israelis

This columnist has performed a disservice to lay viewers, or anyone who is unfamiliar with the particulars of the conflict. It irks and aggrieves me!
His one-sided presentation here is missing the important events that happened before 1947, such as the Balfour Declaration, the land entitlement of Palestinians under the Ottoman Empire's land codes (when it collapsed in 1918, the British mandate preserved these entitlements), the unlawful expansion of territory before 1947, the mass exodus unlawfully propelled by Israelis in 1948--which is not even mentioned--among other things.
This biased presentation accounts only for the events unfolding after 1947; it is an equivocation in that it intentionally leaves out one-quarter of the history of the conflict. It is not a simple problem to describe; Dennis Prager, you have performed a disservice to use the laborious works of academia, and tireless scholars, to equivocate and mislead the public, and especially, to oversimplify a conflict with an unimaginable human toll. Shame on you.

The other problem is that of perception. The Arabs, who were cheated in the Versailles Treaty by Britain and France of truly independent states that they fought for against the Ottoman Empire, did not see Zionism as much more than a colonial movement by Europeans to take over a strategic part of the land that was promised to them. The French set up a Christian dominated Lebanon to maintain their interests while the British set up a Sunni Arabian king in Iraq to dominate a Shiite, Kurdish and Christian population to maintain control of the oil. Israel was seen as an "unsinkable" aircraft carrier to support European interests. In fact the United States was not the prime sponsor of Israeli military might until 67. France was. The US was still trying to get an alliance with Egypt, which is why the Temple of Dendur ended up in the Metropolitan Museum. When DeGaulle pulled out his support we filled a vacuum because we saw a need to counterbalance Soviet support for Egypt and Syria.

i want to tell you something about the conflict between us and the palestinians:
yes, there were eras in the past that they were more than us, but we came here first (almost 4000 years ago), and they came here only after it (almost 1,400 years ago), and this is a fact no can change. no one can change they history.
that's why we tell them: let's share this area to a 2 countries - israel and palstine.
but they say "no", because they want to control all this area.
even in 1947, before israel got the independence, the united nations offered to do it - 2 countries to a 2 nations, one is israel and one is palestine.
we said "yes, we agree", but they said "no", and then they started a war with us, along with a few other arabic countries, but somehow, someway, we won them (maybe with the help of god).
but it was a very tough war, during 598 days!
and as i said: since then, we always tell them that we want 2 countries - one for them and one for us - and they just need to say "yes" and then it will be peace, but they always say "no", because they don't want us here, they want to kill us all so they'll be able to control both palestine and israel and make it one country - palestine.
and this is why there's no peace here, because instead of saying to us "yes, we agree to your offer, to make 2 countries in this area, one for you and one for us", they always reject our offer.
in addition, don't forget that some of them (not the most) are jewish people genetically (i say it for the people who don't think that the jewish people came here first)

As liberal as I am, I can't help but highlight key points that he forgot to mention which I find incredibly shocking and I would appreciate it if you all gave this a read. Okay so where do I begin, first of all Palestine, comes from the ancient name Paleset which can be found in ancient egyptian books dating back 1150 BCE. Now the Palestinians have been around for a very long time, in fact it was first recognised by The Assyrians in 800 BCE. Therefore, I wanted to clear out where he said there has never been a state known as Palestine that wasn't jewish. If that isn't enough, Palestine as of 1850 had 350,000 inhabitants. 85% OF THEM MUSLIMS, 11% CHRISTIANS, AND 4% JEWISH and if you are to say Palestine is a "Jewish" state given that in 1850 only 4% of its inhabitants were Jewish, then we might as well call the USA a Buddhist state or Saudi Arabia a Christian state. Mr. Prager states that Israel is all about peace and that all the Palestinians want to do is kill the Israeli citizens. Well, let me ask you this, imagine having an intruder enter your house, and demand a piece of it, a piece of your house that you have worked so hard to earn, to maintain, to build, not only that, but also a bigger chunk of the house than you already live in. Imagine this intruder coming into your house and not only demanding this larger space but also being granted that space from a power that is much stronger than you, imagine your furry, imagine your anger and your frustration. This is an example of a house, imagine how it would be if your hometown was taken away from you. What would you do? Where would you go to? And don't tell me the United Nations this and the United Nations that. The United Nation's primary funder is Israel's main allie, the United States of America. Now, I don't know what is crazier, having Mr. Prager, a Jew that studied the Middle East in an American university, tell everyone how Palestinians aren't peaceful (simply because they want their land back) or you guys believing all of it. Listen everybody, I'm not a Muslim, nor am I a Jew. I'm a Christian, but I don't have to be from a certain religion to know what Israel is doing is wrong, wake up and understand that they're trying to sugarcoat everything and make themselves look innocent through mainstream media, when in reality, the so called peacefulness has resulted in 1200 airstrikes which so far killed 156 of Palestinians over the last 5 days alone. Watch the video of Mr. Prager in front of a green screen say what he wants to say about his only state, since he's a jew, and i'll leave you with a couple of videos to show you what really goes on.

@@errezmardi2554 well, Abraham is a Muslim's prophet too so his followers who are Muslims would be there with him don't you think? Solomon is known as Prophet Sulaiman, David is known as Prophet Daud, Jacob is known as Prophet Yaa'kub, Moses is known as Prophet Musa - all of them were from that land and Muslims believe that these people are their prophets so isn't it logical that they have inhabited that land since Abraham? @yullove
When Imam Abdul Hadi Palazzi, leader of Italian Muslim Assembly asked what the Qur'an says about the State of Israel, Palazzi replied:
The Qur'an cannot deal with the State of Israel as we know it today, since that State only came into existence in 1948, i.e. many centuries after the Qur'an itself was revealed. However, the Qur'an specifies that the Land of Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people, that God Himself gave that Land to them as heritage and ordered them to live therein. It also announces that - before the end of time - the Jewish people will come from many different countries to retake possession of that heritage of theirs. Whoever denies this actually denies the Qur'an itself. If he is not a scholar, and in good faith believes what other people say about this issue, he is an ignorant Muslim. If, on the contrary, he is informed about what the Qur'an and openly opposes it, he ceases to be a Muslim.[133]
Prof. Khaleel Mohammed, Islamic Law scholar of the San Diego State University, noted that Sura 5 verse 21 of the Qur'an, and the medieval exegetes of the Qur'an, say that Israel belongs to the Jews. He translates it thus:
Moses said: "O my people! Enter the Holy Land which God has written for you, and do not turn tail, otherwise you will be losers." Mohammed here understands "written" to mean this is the final word from God on the subject. In reaction, he was inundated with hate mail.[6]
      The Quran, chapter 17 (Al-Isra), verse 104:[134]
And thereafter We said to the Children of Israel: 'Dwell in the land. When the promise of the Everlasting Life comes We shall bring you all together.
      The Quran, chapter 5 (Al-Ma'ida), verse 20-107:[135]
And [remember] when Moses said to his people: 'O my people, ... enter the Holy Land which God has assigned unto you, and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin.

    • @yullovelevolluy
      @yullovelevolluy 3 года назад

@@igal4576 I suggest you refrain quoting from the Quran if you only want to quote what is convenient to your pro-Zionism belief. Those verses you copied and pasted are only small parts of a bigger story.
You quoted: Al-Maidah Surah 5, verse 21 - O, my people! Enter the holy land (Palestine) which God has written for you and do not turn your back (from my message), otherwise you will be losers.
The story behind this verse was Prophet Musa (or Moses) asked them to enter that land but then his people (The Bani Israil) was arrogant/scared and did not want to enter unless the land was cleared for them and themselves only. (Verses 22 & 24). The next verse (Verse 25) shows that Musa prayed to Allah as he had no control over his people (Bani Israel). Verse 26 - "So it (the land) shall surely be forbidden to them for forty years, they shall wander about in the land".
So, if you want to say that Allah gives them the land, that is FALSE because in verse 26, they are not allowed to reside on that land because of their arrogance and for rejecting message brought by Moses which is to believe in Allah.
In surah Al-Isra' verse 104, yes, it does say that Bani Israil can "dwell on that land" after they escaped from the Firaun / Pharaoh. But in the next verses definitely says that they have to "believe in the Quran" (verse 106) and to "call upon Allah" (verse 110) which applies more to the Muslims than to the Jews. The Jews transgressed from Prophet Musa's messages.
In the Quran, there are a lot of verses about Bani Israil (33 verses about them) about their trials and crimes to remind Muslims to not follow their footsteps. You should read all the verses if you really want to understand the Bani Israil (or the Jews, we may say - not Zionists).
Bani Israel does not equal Zionism if that's what you're implying from your copying and pasting from Wikipedia.

we provide water, food, money and electricity to palestine, we let them work here, we treat them in our hospitals here - is it bad?
do you say that the palestinian people are poor? yes, you're right about that, but it's not because of israel, it's because of the authorities in the palestine. israel has 0% fault of this, they're not our citizens so they're not in our responsibility!
we give them everything they want except of one thing: our whole land. we offer them to share it, so it would be 2 lands: israel and palestine but they say 'no', because they want to control all of this land.
you said that you're not in the side of anyone but you're in the side of the peace. no, you're not in the side of the peace, because only people who are in the side of israel are in the side of peace. you said you want peace, but you don't want peace, because only people who say that israel has 0% fault in this conflict want peace. and, by the way, the first jew person (abraham) has arrived to israel around 4,000 years ago. if you claim that this land belongs to the arab people, it means you say that the arab people came here BEFORE arbraham, so let me tell you something: before abraham, there were no arab people, because this ethnic origin which called 'arab' was created by ishmael, and ishmael was the son of abraham, so there's no way that the arab people were here before abraham came here, they could come here only AFTER abraham came here, and this is what really happened: they first came here ONLY around 1,400 years ago!
and about syria, are you trying to say that we are bad to syria too? well, here we go again: show me one bad thing that israel does to syria. there's a war in syria now, and israel helps the syrian people in this war by entering the people who come to the border between (syria and israel) to israel, giving them treatments in the hospitals here and providing them a Temporary political asylumhere (until the war will end).
and, by the way: why do you think that these people come to the border? because they know that israel would help them and they know they'll be safe in israel!"

Not 20% at all. Now who's lying? At the 29th of November 1947, there was a conference at the UN, where the decision was to divide Israel's territory between the Arabs and the Jews, where the Jews get 62% and the Arabs get 34% , and was a bit later changed to 55% and 45%, to which the Jews happily agreed, and the Arabs not only disagreed, but started a war over, to which the surrounding Arab countries joined as well after about half a year.

They never came back, and neither can we.
They fled here 100,000 and want to return 700 thousand ..
The Jewish people are not a stupid people.
We are not a people of a book We are a people of all books.
