Hello Doctor, this is my Ultrasound findings : WELL- CIRCUMSCRIBE, OVOID, COMPLEX, PREDOMINANTLY CYSTIC LESION WITH INTERNAL THIN & THICK SEPARATIONS MEASURING 2.0 X 1.9 X 0.9 cm CENTERED IN THE ISTHMUS. NO SIGNIFICANT VASCULARITY IS EVIDENT. NO CERVICAL LYMPHADENOPATHY IS APPRECIATED. NO CALCIFICATION SEEN WITHIN. DO YOU THINK THIS IS A BENIGN NODULE OR A SUSPECIOUS NODULE... PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME DOC... I'm 52 years old
Ok, So I may not be a doctor but I have the same issue aswell! I had about a little bit higher measurements as you do in about December. Since it's a cystic lesion it's most likely a Benign Nodule. I also have a Benign Nodule; They will usually all depending on your doctor will have you do follow ups and make sure it decreases or stays stable. But then yet again you are way older than I am but it wouldn't change your results in the actual nodule findings.
Sounds benign to me. I'm not a doc, but there's no calcification or vascularity (meaning blood vessels in the nodule) which are main signs to indicate cancer. But that doesn't mean they can't cause other issues! So discuss with your doc. Again, I AM NOT A DOCTOR.
