New release from zealot s98 their flagship speaker which had 160w wish you had to compare with JBL boombox 3 or w-King x20@D20 btw great review as well 🎉
The w-king would be more comparable. The boombox 3 or 2 is just overkill

Your review is pretty accurate, no thrills and spills for sure. I received my s97 a couple of days ago, an upgrade from my old Zealot s39 which in my opinion had way more sub bass and volume than the s97. The dynamic and the volume on the s97 is just not quite there which is a bit disappointing. I will run it in for a few more days and see if it improves. Would love to see the passive rads on the side literally leap out like on the s39.
Undoubtedly, if the S97 was tuned to produce more bass it would also create distortion along with it, much like the S67.
Nice! Was considering this one for a minute. They have a few newer, more updated models recently. One is very similar to this, but more akin to the Xtreme style with the strap. I believe its the Zealot s76? Little chunky speaker. I might just pull the trigger on that due to its looks and perfect size to portability (plus price) ratio lol! I also need an aux for my dj stuff. Did you notice any limiter kick in on the bass in higher volumes? Thats been my only hesitation with the Zealot speakers

Adjust? There is no brightness setting. You can turn them off.
I think the S67 has better and richer bass compared to this S97.
I had the S67, gave it out, and bought the S97, now i regret
@@kingdavid7133 the S67 does have stronger bass, coupled with some rather nasty distortion.
