Do you think it would be better to get two 120s or one 710?
Jay, my 2 Encore's app doesn't show the new random lights shortcut. I'm running software version 1.29.0 and it says it's up to date. Is it available only on the new generation of JBLs?
Pretty sure this is only for the new models 120 and 320.
Which of these speakers do you recommend? At full volume, how long does the battery really last?

Not to lie, the bass on this is really great with minimal distortion, and even the clarity is amazing on low to max volume, it definitely gives a run for its money to the JBL Partybox 120 and 320 I would say!❤

Can you connect a PartyBox encore to a boombox 3? Cause the new update on the JBL Portable App says you can connect portables to PartyBoxes but it didn’t specify which ones 😅
I don't think you can cross new Partybox speakers to the older portables. It shows on the app, if you caught it in the video, the list of possibles and they are all 2nd gen Partybox speakers. I recently tried again to get a new speaker like the Go 4 to play with an older one like the Flip 6, but still no go. I think they are supposed to address that next possibly.

@@marclordpieterson4459It is? I know I tried to connect the Go 4 to the Flip 6 and it won't fly. The Boombox 3 wasn't listed as the compatible speakers with the 120 and 320.
The Boombox 3 isn't on the list of compatible speakers with the 120 or 320. The Partybox and portable speakers also have separate apps. Pushing the partyboost button on the Boombox 3 and the Auracast button on the 320 doesn't connect them.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews but it says in the update of the partybox app "PartyTogether with Portable and Wifi speakers" which indicates that the partyboxes can be connected to the portable speakers. There cant be another interpretation of that statement am i right?

Hey does that code that you had earlier for this Soundstorm still work? FYI I also bought the WKING X20 when you told us about it and its extra savings code. You're gonna make me broke lol!! I'm so glad I did though, the X20 is incredible!! This little Soundstorm seems like a perfect shmedium companion. And I also have the super small Tribit Stormbox Micro that is amazing as well, and especially for it's size. So I'm hoping that code still works so I can finish my collection lol
The Soundstorm code no longer works now. If I ever spot another deal on that speaker I will post it. Be sure you have notifications on.

now after one month its choosing yet way much more tougher bcs price of soundocre boom 2 plus dropped on 200 from 250 ,so price is way more close to each other now ,but tribit is still cheaper from 30-50 dollars/eur, bud design and leds show like way more on tribit ;)

@@JaysStraightUpReviews at these prices yes. At higher prices some speakers don't quite reflect that. But come on, 20 vs 50 dollars should be a massive difference in build quality and sound, which there is in this case. Jbl is more premium than this metal grill unoriginal cheapness
The smaller HydraTrek does also come with a handlebar mount and the threaded hole in the speaker that can be attached to other things like stands and tripods. Plus it has a magnet in it so you can attach it to anything metal. So IMO, that's a pretty cool little package for under $20 and features you simply don't get with the 2.5x more expensive JBL Go4.

The JBL is great I know as I'm a JBL fanboy, but to my ears the W-King's bass output is higher, but I'm not sure it's necessarily deeper or not!
This is a cool innovative feature, i love it! However, i think JBL should invest more on better sound quality & competitive prices for their products, their designs, build quality & aesthatics are great!
When you are the market leader, but a fairly wide margin, they really have no reason to drop prices. I certainly would like to pay less, but have to settle for waiting on sales. The Partybox 120 has recently been $100 off.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Well, you're right, they alongside other few companies are the leading name on market when it comes to bluetooth speakers, there are other smaller companies coming up with great value most people like myself are happy about, they have great value & competitive market price example are like Tribit, Soundcore, Mifa, Earfun etc For example, instead of buying JBL Xtreme 3 for $280, I'll rather go for a pair of Soundcore motion boom for $140 and enjoy that warm deep bass & sound signature in TWS and still have extra $140 saved I'm better off buying one Tribit Stormbox Blast at $160 or a pair of Soundcore Boom 2 for $260 etc for outdoor fun than buy one Xtreme 4 for $350
T11 is great until it dies on you and the company ignores you. Had 2 months on my warranty and they offered me a $50 coupon. COUPON to buy more stuff from a company that doesnt honor their warranty. Company is in China and ignores any other emails after offering the $50 coupon
WKING are scammers. Mine died with 2 months of warranty and theyre offering me a $50 coupon. Thats right, theyre not going to honor theyre warranty and are expecting me to buy another one. Idiots. Pay the extra for JBL, at least its not a company hiding in China

The Charge 5 is better, but it's also 3 times more expensive : for the price of 2 Zealot, you get 80W in TWS and if you use the right EQ on VLC mobile, you'll get powerfull bass and clear sound. Take time to adjust EQ. I have 2 Zealot S56 and I LOVE THEM. For my house, only one is enough. 2 for outdoor or partying.
I got my Charge 5 when it was on sale for around $100. It's a really good speaker for sure. The Zealot S56 is 💩 and sounds lousy.

I watched this video after 10 minute you uploaded. Ordered it the same day. Today I got the delivery. Honestly speaking, I am really enjoying this one over my old Boombox 3. Just need to lower the base part and higher the treble part in Custom EQ. After some adjustment the output was awesome to me. Lots of thanks for this video dear Jay.

Yo rengo mi LG Cm9940 que suena mas potente ue este equipo yabque tiene subwoofer de 18 pulgadas pero quisiera un parlante mas portátil ya que este LG CM9940 si pesa tengoqneu llevas sus parlantes con 2 personas. Vale la pena el Partybox Ultimate?? Que diferencia tiene con el 710 aparte de la potencia? Saludos desde Ecuador

How about ultimate vs 7.2 home theater set up. The price of ultimate is close for a home theater. So people will have idea if its worth to set up home theater or just partybox is enough.
The Partybox Ultimate is in a completely different category as a 7.2 speaker/subwoofer/receiver home theater set up. Totally apples to oranges. If you want a home theater system, get a home theater system. If you want a big time party speaker with mic inputs, get the Ultimate.
