My Boom 2 is still my favorite small speaker that can deliver bass above its price. Compact and full sounding. I’m still not sure about this Boom 2 Plus……
Boom 2 is a great little speaker for sure. It's just not going to be on par with larger, more powerful speakers that also cost quite a bit more.
It sounds like the Boom2 plus has a warmer sound more suitable for indoors & the Boom2 has more of a in your face type of sound with a livelier sound better for outdoors.
I wonder what the results would be if you used your own bass driven custom eq for that comparison.
If you push the Boom 2 bass too much it can get distorted. It's almost always the case where the larger, more powerful speaker will deliver better low end, particularly within the same brand and line of speakers.
I have been hearing lots of good things about the boom. 2. Might just pick one up for $99.99
I have the boom 2 and the w-king D10, in your opinion which is the better speaker all around even with customizations etc.? Also would it be worth buying 2 boom 2 speakers or one and add the boom 2+ or two D10’s? Thanks for any input.
I’ll add my intended use will be for indoor music and movies with some outdoor use.
If you have both the D10 and Boom 2, then that's up to you to decide which you like better.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews I gotcha ya. I was just curious. Listening to it inside while it’s plugged in getting the extra power, it really does sound pretty good.
I also own the BB3, & with it plugged in as well inside, it has considerably lower, deeper bass & it does get louder, I prefer the overall sound quality of the EXTREME 3, especially at the louder volumes past 70-75% volume.
@@jedolivier2688I like the Xtreme 4 and it does get a bump when you plug it in, like the X3. It's just so pricey. One good benefit of having both the X4 and the PB320 is they share the same battery. So if you take one out somewhere you automatically have a spare battery.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Yeah, if I get the 4 it’ll be after they go down in price, like I did with the EXTREME 3. About a year or so ago, I got it off of EBAY for $219.99 before taxes. Which in my opinion, is worth it for what it offers indoors while being plugged in.
