Simon, don't ignore high case numbers for which you have little data. I have already read several comments suggesting that for example Europe exceeds 50K. In your last live video, there was a lady who asked you for your opinion on 2025EU55K, she is a food blogger on RUclips so I don't think she is a troll. I'm afraid that many people with high case numbers are frustrated and don't participate in your survey, and it's a shame because as you say it's really too early to know. Why don't you do something simple: ask those who declare a case number that is apparently too high and incompatible with the other data if they wish to provide you with the data PRIVATELY to verify their case. In this way, the highest case (among your followers) for each region can be confirmed quickly and 100%. I personally would have no problem privately sharing with you the data that confirms that I am not a troll or simply that I didn't make a mistake in filling out your questionnaire... If I'm your follower and can help you build accurate data, why not!!

Hi Simon, thanks for all your help. I have one question, I’ve lived since 27 years old in “x” address, one year after I moved I changed to another department of the same building which I’ve been living since that date. Should I list this as two different addresses on the DS260? Thanks

, I just have one final question.
DS260 asks if a member of the family has been divorced previously. On my country there is an alternative to marriages that is called (union de hecho-de facto union); in 2017 I dissolved this union, do you think this counts as a divorce? In my country law in not divorced. But I want to fill this part of the DS-260 as accurately as possible.

Sir ,wich is more important in interview schedule : case numbers or the date of ds submitting ? so if a person with a small case number sumbitted the ds in july for exemple, is there a possibilty that he won't get an interview or the priority will be to ppl with high case number but who had submitted earlier in May

If your DS-260 isn't processed, then yes, a person with a higher case number will get allocated instead. Although waiting to submit the DS-260 isn't generally detrimental to your success.. It is recommended to not wait too long- especially if your number is low.

@@maroland96 June should be fine in my opinion. There's no specific official timeline or guidance rather than submitting it before the program year is up (for 2025- that's Sep 2025). Just don't wait for months.

Hello sir, i have been randomly selected! Yay me! i just have a quick question. When should i fill in and submit the ds-260 form online? Do i have to do it immediately after finding out that i have been selected, or do i have some time to do it? Since i need quite some time to gather all the documentation that i will be needing for the whole process. Also does the time of my submission affect the outcome? Hi Simon, I was selected for the DV 2025, and my case number is AS00009XXX. I visited the United States in 2019 on a B1/B2 visa and again from June 29 2023 to July 13, 2023 on a J1 visa, and I am subject to Section 212E. What should I do? Please advise.

Hi. So I’m currently a F1 holder. My case number was 2025OC2017. Because I was unclear of the whole visa bulletin, I did the DS2-260 Asap, because I thought the sooner the better, and now I’ve submitted it two days ago. Will this benefit me or disadvantage me in any way? Will it really ruin my current non immigrant status if I end up not making the cut off number or will it be fine ? I also haven’t completed the documents or photos requirements from it. So what do you think my next step should be ? Should I wait till my 2025 case become current then file my I-485 ? And based on 2023’s stats, my number can go current in the August/September. Do you think there’s enough time for them to process my I-485 in a short period of time before the end of their fiscal year ?
The DS260 is an optional part of the process for AOS cases. You will have to use the early filing policy. Learn more about the AOS process here:

Sign into what? To complete the DS-260? Make sure you're entering the confirmation number correctly. Also be sure the information you're entering matches what you put on your entry form. If it continues not to work, you probably made an error when doing the entry.

This means your case has been processed and you are eligible for an interview in your region. Know, it's still not a guarantee though.

Yeah, I usually get high number reports every year - and it is almost always a "misunderstanding". But if someone comes forward with credible proof I will look at it.
